  1. True, but again, this does not prove they understand it. It just proves they can read and regurgitate. I know I have passed a few tests in school using the “cram to pass” method. Could not give you a single fact from those classes to save my life today. Reading and regurgitation does not mean reading, understanding, and following.
  2. Kind of funny. Why would anyone go to work for a major corporation and then expect it was going to be fun and dreams? Work is work. The "Majic and Dreams" are for the paying customers, not the paid help.
  3. How funny. It would be easy enough to do though.
  4. The sad part is some of those sets do have great bricks and parts. But the movie did so bad that there was no real fan base to speak of. Me, I am lookingforward to some deeper sales so I can pick up a few extra sets for the bricks alone.
  5. It is always nice when a company takes the time to give a clear "fair Use" policy so their fans can know what they can and can't do in their desire to support the company or hobby.
  6. I would have to agree with those who say use your money on other sets. Find sets that have lots of bricks in the colors you will need etc. Like some fo the PoP sets are on sale, they have lots of Tan in them. If you want the walls tan, they may be a better use of your money.
  7. This is a key right here. I am sure many folks just click past the information and rush to join without really reading what they are agreeing to etc. I do nto think you can design a system that will force folks to use their minds and read, think, understand.
  8. I like this army. Creative use of the PoP figures. But I was expecting by the title to see Elephants (or at least one) and hoses and camels. Do you have plans to add them?
  9. To be honest it depends on what it is. Regular blocks are sent to the local school "Lego" collection as it is mostly non-Lego anyway. But I did keep a few elements. The Hvy MG from a Halo set was nice enough to stay. One Camo brick went onto a plate and was given to an Ex-Army friend to use as a Business Card Holder on his desk. Couple of silly things liek that. But for the most part, yes, I purge them.
  10. While I would buy one for my son, I do not think we would buy more than one. I only need so many Jack Sparrows in my bucket o' minifigures.
  11. I like how this turned out. Very nice.
  12. I think it turned out well. Dad and son should have fun with it.
  13. I like what you have made from them. Your forge looks a lot better as well. Nice MOC.

    Mirage

That was wonderful. Great parts use throughout. Lots of new ideas. I would love to see this in person.

    Falcon

Great use of those parts. This looks wonderful.
  16. The whole thing is very impressive. But the element use I liked best was the Dragon arms on the roof. I also liked the waterfall in the back. But the whole thing is great word for sure.
  17. Good Luck RubeusHagrid. I think this will be a real effort on your part. But once you have finished, I am sure you will be glad you did. Looking forward to seeing your final product.
  18. I like how you did the front windshield. Looks good.
  19. I would have to say Kingdoms. Why? Because ti is helping me and my son get into Lego together.
  20. Thanks, this reminded me to go sign my son up for the Aug. Lego Club meeting. Oh and I happen to like the look of the ADU Jetpack.
  21. I really like how you used the parts. The Chicken yard is my favorite.
  22. Well done, you captured them well.
  23. I too want to see how your movie turns out.
  24. I have sent items to the UK and had it go both ways. Sometimes they are and sometimes they are not. I have yet to understand what, if anything, I did to cause it either way.
