Eurobricks Badges-June 24th deadline
jonfett replied to jonfett's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
I thought you live in the USA Bloody Jay? Jon. -
D'oh! Will you guys ever forget this? >-| Well anyway, 11 months is better than 22 minutes (a long, long story for those who don't understand ;)) Jon.
-
By the way, nice sig-fig DoubleT! ;) Jon.
-
I don't know as the site doesn't mention the UK. I just said that it would be on at 12 if it were on at the same time as the US airing. Jon.
-
On the poster it says "7:00pm EST" which means it would be on at about 12:00am in the UK *wacko* Jon.
-
Looking great Apo! Much better (and a lot bigger) since you last showed me. It would be so much fun to play a game with that dungeon, it makes me want to make my own if I wasn't already in the middle of 4 (yes 4!) models for Eurobricks Event :() Jon.

Now posted on the correct day! ;) I year! :') Jon.

When will the dating lessons continue Jipay? ;) The lack of ladies around here has made us males desperate for love! *wub* Jon.

Eurobricks Badges-June 24th deadline

I have sent an email to the Brick Engraver so now I need to wait far a reply. I dealt with the space issue between Event and 2005 (see below) and I explained this in the email, so hopefully the badge will be great. Jon. -
DoubleT's quizzes are always.. well, strange ;) but I think I'll have a go. 1 --> D 2 --> C 3 --> A 4 --> B Jon.
-
What error? ;) I agree with HJR, I prefer the figs from the LSW game to these :/ Jon.
-
Welcome to Eurobricks! Glad that you found us, I am sure you will enjoy it here :) Jon.

"Eurobricks Event '05 - Billund" cannot fit on one brick as this is 30 characters (inc. spaces) and only 22 will fit on each brick. Is everyone happy with the blue brick and yellow fill on 4 bricks? Jon. -
I chose the second option as I think it has more of a space feel to it than the other one, plus I just don't like how it points so much. Jon.

I understand what you mean and it sounds like a great idea, but he only inscribed 1x8 bricks :/ Jon. -

Having both things on one brick may be better (cheaper anyway) but I will just have to check if he can inscribe symbols. He states on his site that he can inscribe bricks with logos so I will email him shortly to see if he could do anything with the eurobricks logo. Jon. -

What theme/sets do you want to see Lego sell?

I would love to see something exactly the same as this, it is a very well done moc! :) I just love the chrome ship and the mini naboo fighters would be great as well! Jon. -

We can put these four bricks in any combination as they are just normal 1x8 bricks and they are not glued. Jon. -

Second is the same blue 4 brick badge but with yellow lettering instead of white. Please say what you think about these and suggest other colour, or word, combinations. -

Good idea Snefroe, I have made a few moc ups of the possibilities of colours just to see what they look like. First is a 4 brick badge all in blue with white lettering. -
We have had a small discussion about the possibility of getting some Eurobricks Badges for our event. I am sure most of you have seen the badges created by Brick Engraver, most likely in Brickfest pics. Here is his site http://www.brickengraver.com/prod01.htm which explains a little about the costs and what you can choose. Here is a price list from the site: 2 Brick Badge - $5.00 3 Brick Badge - $6.00 4 Brick Badge - $7.00 5 Brick Badge - $8.00 So firstly we want to know what those who are coming to the event would like to see. For example, we could have (on a 3 brick badge): Full name Username Eurobricks Event 2005 Once we have made a decision on this then we can choose what colours we want it to be. So for now please post your opinions. Jon.

Don't forget our Australian Queen, Precious_Jazz! :) Jon.

I think I can hold off from getting these for now, even at the reduced price! ;) Thanks for the news though mutley, and I may get a mini JSF from the TRU website. Jon.
