  1. Yay! I was right, but your link to the round pegs linked to the 1x1 round plate. Did you mean this technic pin? Jon.
  2. Which part of my explanation (if it is right) says it needs a modified piece? Jon.
  3. Again I will link you to this SNOT box - http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=954520 You can see that pieces have been stacked upwards to get the pattern on the side, this is SNOT work. But you can also see that the top is all tiles, which is also SNOT work. SNOT means that an area of the model has no studs, so it can be sideways or maybe upside down, but it is generally an area of the model and not just one piece (ie. a tile). I hope I don't have to do any more explaining today.. my head hurts *wacko* Jon.
  4. Well not really, SNOT refers to a smooth surface on a model. So a tile can be used for SNOT work but it is not necessarily SNOT by itself. Jon.
  5. SNOT (Studs not on Top) means that a surface of a model is smooth and can use tiles, so there are no studs showing. The box is a complete SNOT model as there are no studs on top anywhere. Jon.
  6. SNOT - Studs Not On Top Example - http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=954520 Jon.
  7. At Brickfest when the Cloud City set was revealed many people took pictures (which you can see on Brickshelf) so I don't see why our event should be any different. That is, if we get shown any new sets ;) Jon.
  8. I am sure we will be able to take pics inside the vault, I have seen galleries on Brickshelf with pics of it. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=79017 Jon.
  9. Judging from the pics I think it is a technic pin with 2 1x1 round plates attached at either ends (to attach to each leg). Then one of these clipped onto the pin, with one of these on top of that, to attach to the body. But maybe KMOI can confirm this for us? Jon.
  10. I am sure we will post some sort of coverage on the mainpage with lots of great pics! We don't want any of our members to miss out, especially if they weren't there. Jon.
  11. It is just a really well done package and mini as well. Check out this guy's other minis including his Hailfire droid and Naboo starfighter! Jon.
  12. On yodas gnome-throwing-Grandma story.. Thats classic! :D Jon.

The only reason he is an admin is becuase of his new title "Titles Giver" which means he needs to access the Admin CP. I think Jipay was trying to see if he could keep his group as Moderator whilst still giving him access to the Admin CP. So don't worry, your not really alone. As Apo said it is usually a combination of how long you have been signed up for and how well the admins know you. But it is not really based on your number of posts, so don't try and post insanely to try and become a Mod as it won't work ;) Jon.
  14. Time to bring in Jipay again for some more advice about relationship techniques that never fail! ;) Jon.
  15. Ah! So many classic jokes :') I think this came about when we got pictures of the viking sets, Apo seemed to think that the vikings has hornets on their helmets, rather than horns. This is a lesson to all you guys, never post when you are "tired" ;) Jon.
  16. They look a little bit overscaled to me but they look great on that droid! Can't wait to see them on Grevious. Btw, I love pic no. 3 ;) Jon.
  17. I think medib, another Canadian member is hoping to come. Maybe you can talk to him and see what he is doing. Jon.

Oh, so many great stories :') Well it isn't such a long, long story actually but it goes back a long, long time. April 12th 2004 I signed up at Eurobricks, 22 minutes later Apo did. I became a Moderator, Apo was 22 minutes too slow. I became an Admin, Apo became a moderator, so again he was 22 minutes slow. But then when Apo became an Admin the joke was almost forgotten, then became history, history became ledgend, ledgend became myth. But we still remember the great event of those 22 minutes. Jon.
  19. I found a few new nice updates in Jeffs folder today. Firstly a, rather disturbing, belville clone trooper *wacko* http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery....y.cgi?i=1181409 which actually looks ok.. don't call me insane! Next is a darktrooper from battlefront, http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery....y.cgi?i=1181391 which has a nice modified jetpack. Last is a modified sandtrooper, http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery....y.cgi?i=1185640 which has a few custom parts added as well a a white shoulder padroun. Lately I have been hooked to Blastermans minifig gallery, mainly because of all the great Star Wars figs he has been making lately. Check it out here. Jon.
  20. "Oops! Didn't see" would have done just as fine ;) Jon.
  21. Maybe something like this? http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery....y.cgi?i=1177421 Jon.
  22. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jamit/De...evous_guard.bmp Here is Jamits decal, can't find anything from Kaminoan or Bertramtalespinner Jon.
  23. Man, do I really need to quote myself?? Jon.
  24. A funny thing is, that I thought it said 300 when I first posted too. Weird indeed, actually it said 300 ;) Now it says 301 BUT Dr Lucky is also supposed to be 301 *wacko* Can someone explain this (I really am in need of this info ;) ) These crappy figs are also in France now :'( I'm quiting cereals :-D Ok, it is partly mine and partly Orlegos fault. You see, he signed up a while ago.. but then he released that he didn't like his username ( :| ) so he re-signed up as Orlego. So, to try and keep our member count accurate I deleted the other username. That is why all members from about 190 (+/- a few) have 1 higher member number than they actually are. Hope you all understand ;) Jon.
  25. That was our first real breakthrough, when we received the first online pics of the mystery set 10131, which turned out to be that nasty tie collection.. |-/ Jon.
