  1. Agreed. @Behemoth - I think you can also do a switcheroo in terms of story if needed and the stormie doesn't arrive in time. You can perhaps substitute a disguised trooper. This episode has so many possibilities as well. Problem Solved ! On another note, I have 99% completed my last entry lest photo taking, but I won't post it up yet, since I don't have the 11xP yet (I am now at 10XP awaiting the FreeBuild Score ). I may leave to the last minute to post it, and since I have some time, thinking of doing another planet's entry just in case we need that planet instead for the Empire Win.
  2. Thanks Cagast, that was picture just to show the new rear. Glad you liked it! Yeah, agreed, I did toy around that a bit, but couldn't get one to fit closer to scale to Intolerance. Either that it became too chunky and ended looking too much a turtle . I did the tie fighter a little later, so it does look a little out of whack when put altogether. What I have learnt from all these is micro scale isn't as easy as it looks, but it's more fun and consume more parts than I originally thought. This is the first micro scale MOC I have actually done, so it's all new and really fun to me. Makes me want to bricklink more parts to get on my next micro scale build.
  3. That's perfectly understandable Mkjosha. Don't let that suck the fun out of building. I am still undecided which planets to build - Bothawui or Fondor. I will likely conceptualize for the both and leave to the last few days to decide which one to build on.
  4. Ok, I'll see if I can build for Bothawui once I pass my 10xp (currently sitting on 10xp). Initially planned for fondor, thought it was easier
  5. Thanks for the compliment Markus! And congrats for the FBTB Steam Wars win!
  6. New Freebuild at http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=100208 . Hope to get at least 1 XP so that I can build my 3rd entry :)
  7. Secret Shipyard on Fondor for Intolerance Ver 2.0. After the Battle of Yavin, the Galatic Empire seized control of Fondor and its shipyards. When the Emperor ordered the Executor to be built by Fondor Shipyards, Kuat Drive Yards (KDY) was very displeased as it was responsible for most of the Empire's fleets before that. Fondor gave all of its time and resources in constructing the SSD. However, very few know of another reason why the Empire shifted ship construction exclusively to Fondor. Whilst the Executor was constructed on Fondor, the Imperial Department of Military Research (IMD) secretly commissioned some of the resources on Fondor into the construction of Intolerance v.2 to improve on several combat areas, including a sub class 1 Hyperdrive, better weapon loadout, better defensive capability, increased (+2) fighter capacity, larger command bridge and a large hangar capacity to house ships and mechs for varied classified missions. This is off the back of a very successful test of ver 1.0, which was constructed largely to test its stealth ability and speed. This was constructed and build in utmost secrecy, and because of its relatively small size (380m in length), it was concealed from most of the Imperials, and was unknown to the Rebels. The below was a capture of the launch facility and the Intolerance ver 2.0. The old version 1.0 can be found here . ======================================================================= Footnote to the above pic: there is actually a troop loader towards the front of Intolerance loading up Stormtroopers. If you squint, you will see that Pointblank was amongst them Comments and Criticisms welcomed as usual ------------------------------------------ Please judge this for SONE, as I would love to get another official entry on the back of this FreeBuild .. .. For the Empire!
  8. Great Build! Lots going on! May i ask what torso does the armless man belong to? Love to have that part!
  9. Editted: the rules are 11xp onwards - dang! No worries persevere :) maybe another freebuild! As an update, i will be doing a version 2.0 regardless. I am done actually, I am in the midst of creating a mini scale of fondor to place the intolerance to where it was built, to create a backstory for it.
  10. Wow, a very good build! That's an awesome effort!
  11. Thank you both. I made a number of modifications to give it a beefier and detailed look. It now weighs literally almost twice as heavy. Will post it this weekend to be judged.
  12. Always liked Ninja Nin's take on an entry, always have that little bit uniqueness about them to give that special edge, that creates a tremendous amount of suspense amidst a great colourful and very deliberate build. This one is no different and is great!
  13. nice use of parts, esp the wheels, to create Felucia. Great job
  14. An outstanding build. Nice combination of interior and exterior props !
  15. Thanks Bob, that's what I figured as well. No worries, I'll probably just modify the existing 2 builds I have and keep my enthusiasm for the next episodes. Good to see all new entries all round regardless. Hard to almost keep up, Judges will have a genuinely harder time for this episode Anyway I found my answer to an earlier question and quote/unquote from mkjosha
  16. I would like to build more since the deadline is extended, but I am little confused about the amount of builds I can build. I believe I can only build a maximum of 2 because of my low rank, but I am not entirely sure, because as an example, I believe Aland created 4 or more builds, while those seemingly of higher rank has limited their number of builds . I am not sure if there is any breach of any rules and he may indeed be of a higher rank that I am unaware oft, or is there somewhere that says in Freebuild u can gain XP within the episode, and hence moved up the rank, to further build for official entries within the same episode. As an Imp, obviously i have a natural bias towards Imps :), I believe the builds from Imps fare generally better in quality but feels somehow less in quantity because of the the perception above. I would love to add to the Imps count of course :)
  17. I must say I like this build a lot for its originality - subtle details and the various droid parts.
  18. Thanks all. Will endeavour to make another bigger system scale ver 2.0 down the road, and perhaps a dreadnought-class even further down Who knows?
  19. Completed a freebuild Midi Scale of the Intolerance - Exterior with some tech specs. Thanks all for comments and criticisms always.
  20. The Imperial Department of Military Research was a research department of the Galactic Empire responsible for researching and development of new weapons, technologies, warships, and battlestations for the Imperial Military. In very rare instances, the IDMR issues experimental ships and gear to the Imperial Survey Corp (ISC) and the Imperial Security Bureau (ISB) for trial and field-testing...However, only the best of the best are selected. Pointblank has been assigned to such a ship - the Intolerance. The Intolerance is a scaled down destroyer loosely based on the Gladiator Class Destroyer. Designed for the Imperial Survey Corp (ISC), the Intolerance is designed to be fast and maneuverable for quick sortie missions, or chase down fast moving rebel ships such as the blockade runner. Equipped with a Hyperdrive Class 1 engine, and light capital class weapons and point defence, the Intolerance also carries a light complement of fighters and Pacifiers designed for the ISC. The hangar at the front is capable of launching Ships and Mechs quickly. It has a full array of Specially Designed Mechs, Drop Pods and Gear for classified ISC missions, and also a fortified containment and torture facilities to contain the most dangerous of criminals and extract information from them. The dark menacing silhouette of the Intolerance is deliberate, and a result of experimental stealth and radar avoidance plates on its hull. --------- My first freebuild and my first official ship MOC. Comments and Criticisms welcomed as always. :) Looking to build more as Pointblank grows in SoNE. Part 2 carries on here
  21. Upon closer examination, this is a very great build with different subtle techniques used. Love it to bits! The Rebels don't stand a chance after all...
