My favorite´s gotta be Battle Bones. I´m amazed how well you captured the bone structure AND the ability to hold minifigures with his "ribs", just like the actual toy. My least favorite, while all being fantastic, might be the Battle Ram. The shape seems off somehow. Kudos for going the extra mile and adding the ripcord to the Road Ripper.

Hey folks! Just wanted to proudly announce that I am finally back at Eurobricks. After some years of raising children and not having time (or space) to do anything Lego at all, my kids are now old enough for Lego and thus I can start building again and sharing chitchat with all of you :) Glad to be back and hope to get in contact with all of you again in the future!

I deeply apologize for bumping such an old thread, but I just noticed I never said thank you for the color suggestions, nor did I answer Sinners last question. After a bit of hybernation I am slowly getting back to building, now that my kids are becoming old enough to play with Lego. So I will get back to some abandoned projects and I will build this cannon here as a stationary one. So I´ll go with orange, as Sinner suggested. Oh, and yes. I take this opportunity to announce that I am officially back to Eurobricks as your good old Topic Killer :D

I´m in desperate need of money, so these two beauties have to go - sadly! They are both 100% complete, including instructions and boxes. Everything is in excellent condition. I just checked bricklink and my offer would be "definetly less than there" :-) The cheapest Cafe Corner I could find including instructions and box was $900 (710 Euros) Cheapest Market Street was around $700 (530 Euros) My offer would be 1200 Euros shipped anywhere in the world. I have all the other modular sets as well and for a good offer they´ll go, too: Green Grocer, Fire Brigade, Grand Emporium and Pet Shop. All of these include instructions and box, everything in excellent condition, too!

The ONLY set missing in my wife´s collection is the drawbridge defense. Somehow this particular set never showed up in toystores in the vicinity. If someone is willing to part with his or her set, please drop me a line!

Not at all! If he managed to make it a landing pad, I am actualy thrilled to see how he did it. That´s the fun of the RCB after all, isn`t it? ;)

Just to avoid any confusion! What I had in mind with the "landing pad" wasn´t a "landing pad", but a Defense Laser Turret. I´m not sure if it can be altered into a landing platform without removing the centerpiece.

I can´t help but notice that with each new highly anticipated model TLG comes up with, I am more and more underwhelmed. The Pet Shop already wasn´t as cool as expected when compared to the other modular houses and their unique building techniques, but at least there the price/parts ratio was okay. The POTC sets, while good looking, are ridiculously overpriced and now this beast which no ordinary Lego collector will be able to properly display in his household is rather overpriced as well, with what seems to be a totally boring parts palette. So this set seems like an easy pass for a parts pack and I guess a rather easy pass for SW collectors as well. The only thing I like about this set are the minifigs. Especially IG-88´s printed "face", Bossk, Dengar and the Palpatine-Hologram.

How on earth could I miss a Starship Troopers themed MOC? Both the landing craft and the outpost look absolutley stunning! Spot on, as good as it can get with Lego at least. It´s such a shame you stoped Lego´ing...

So I bought the Pet Shop tuesday and finished building rather quickly. I have to admit that I am a little bit underwhelmed. There aren´t as many advanced building techniques as in the previous sets and the facade work is not as tricky as the previous ones. Even the furniture, while a LOT more as in the previous sets, isn´t as cool as in the other ones. But, the minifigs and accessories are really nice. And it blends in very well with the other modular buildings, while allowing for several appartment buildings in a row. All in all, I´d rate it 6 of 10 stars.
