  1. Chemical tank cars, inspired by various images on the web. The cars are 8-wide, 34 studs in length. The black and white color scheme is courtesy of a 92176 that was sacrificed for the builds. Most of the SNOT work went through a few iterations. In the first build bogies/ladders collided and caused problems on r40 curves. The bottom of the car is integrated with the frame for the tank, the sides and top are just attached in a few places and pretty easy to remove. Thanks for taking a look!
  2. Very cool build! I've always liked how this scene was done in the films. The parts usage with cones/tires works great for the silhouettes of the brothers, and the backdrop is a nice addition too.
  3. Appreciate all the input! Seems like just color variation. I did discover I have been mixing Yellowish Green with Bright Light Yellow in my current build while trying to figure this out, hah. May be time to check out those colorblindness correction glasses. Thanks again!
  4. Hello, Would anyone be able to help and try to identify if there are two colors of bricks in this photo? I am confident the bricks in the lower half of the photo are Bright Light Yellow, I have matched them to parts from a recently opened set. I am unsure about the top half. The halves are visibly distinct to me, but I am pretty colorblind so that always throws a wrench into identifying colors. Does this just appear to be color variation, or is it two different colors? I am not sure what the upper half color would be, if it is different than the lower half. Initially I was thinking Light Yellow, but that wasn’t produced long and I think can be ruled out given the parts in question. Thanks!
  5. This looks great! Similar to how I imagine part of the Imperial camp where Norra was kept prisoner might have looked.
  6. Every model looks fantastic! I really like the gondola, the amount of studs works very well. The crates done with grey logs are also awesome!
  7. Tested different image sizes with this post
  8. EDIT: Misread title, I posted a suggestion for cleaning 9v rails. I do not have experience with 12v rails. My apologies (I am not seeing a way to delete posts)
  9. This was the solution that worked for me as well. It ran better with part fixes but would still jam up pretty quickly and derail. Combined with grease it moves much better through corners.
