    Too blocky, inside of the wings unfinished, overpriced, and the stand is absolutely hideous. I love UCS, but I'm going to have a hard time justifying this purchase. Especially when the beautiful Slave I model is at the same price point. Not much to get excited about here...

    All right, once I've got the final 50 parts for my UCS Falcon I'll tackle this. Awesome mods, never seen any before!

    A smaller UCS falcon would have to be really well made and very accurate to justify its existence. This set looks to be pretty epic, but that's judging from a screen grab taken in less than flattering lighting at an awkward angle...I guess we'll have to wait and see!

    I'm currently brick liking a UCS falcon (900 parts to go) and what I do is find the part I'll need the most of and order from the store that has the quantity I need at the cheapest price. I generally buy everything the store has that I need unless there's an expensive part that I can get for a significantly cheaper price elsewhere.

    It would anger the people a rerelease would anger and disappoint the people looking forward to a rerelease. I'm getting a headache just thinking about it. It would be one heck of a mess for everyone involved.

    OOOOOHHHHHH.....that would be great! A scan of the entire sticker sheet for the MF would be fantastic as I'm bricklinking one now...anybody got one?

    Awesome, man! It has more of a mini vibe than a UCS one, though. LEGO would never release a UCS this interesting. Now it just needs a mini Jabba...

    I suppose that soon is relative. The UCS Falcon has been wildly popular on the aftermarket. if LEGO has been tracking what sets sell well after their retirement (I have no idea if they do or not) then the uCS Falcon will be at te top of the list. It makes since to me for them to release an updated Falcon. I had serious doubts about this rumor until this screen grab from an ad: http://i55.servimg.com/u/f55/11/29/64/44/vlcsna10.jpg That's clearly not a standard size LEGO set. Well now I feel like an idiot USE THE EMOTE FOR SARCASM

    SW is awful in terms of merchandise? Nobody ever buys anything? No appeal? Are you serious? Star Wars is a juggernaut in the toy industry. At one point it was estimated that more money would be made in focusing on merchandise than actually making another movie. Loads of Star Wars products hit the shelves every year and are swept clean. They wouldn't have such an onslaught of merch if it didn't sell.

    Chrome looks great when you first get it, but after a little use I've found that the chrome chips and scratches, leaving an ugly looking hilt. Also, the chrome seems a little flashy and detracts from a set if you're trying to display it IMHO. Chrome is also expensive compared to the flat silver color they've been using.

    I agree. J.J. Abrams even covered up the windows in his office, there's no way he's going to let some toy company get in the know about Episode VII. I don't think a homestead set is likely (where's the conflict? Most LEGO SW sets have a good guy and a bad guy. And I doubt any kid is going to see the set and think, "Wow, a house! In tan! With Luke and a couple of old people! I gotta have it!") It might just be the angle, but this looks kind of chibi to me. It's definitely large, though. I personally doubt a UCS falcon is coming soon, but this grab does look promising...we'll have to see.

    Great! The lack of MF bothered me, too. This really fits nicely with the overall look of the DS.

    Yeah, that's it. I meant the 2nd pic, not the first. I see it now. I love what you did with the radar dish, too...much better than anything I've come up with!

    Nice…the quality of that MOC is phenomenal! I like the lighting. What's the trans green piece in the first pic?
