Hey folks :) Does anyone have an idea for a good chest for a purist Roy Harper/Arsensal/Red Arrow (CW TV version). Preferrably in dark red, but even something regular red might be ok. (I've even toyed with using Hawkeye's chest, dark red arms/legs, regular red hips and hands). The hood is also sort of a sticking point the Dark Red Hood (from the Sith Warrior) seems a bit pricey, the regular red is common but very "bright". I'm not looking for something photo exact, just recognizable as "in the spirit of". Thanks in advance for any tips/suggestions!

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

I'm with you. I can understand why they might do it, but I'm not an automatic fan. I liked the printing on Darkseid. This seems a little busy to me, especially compared to the tame printing on Grodd. -
I agree with the hope that these aren't special molded heads. The Simpsons just don't feel "LEGO" to me (just personal opinion, I realize lots love the line!). I'm really looking forward to seeing the monsters/villains of the sets. As for the action themes suggestion, slightly off topic but something that has been bugging me: Why is the organization of themes so non-intuitive on these forums? Often times it seems people go out of their way to miscategorize themes. Just a couple of examples off the top of my head: LoTR/Hobbit = Licensed (but it's in Historic) Minecraft = Licensed (but it's in "Special" themes). Scooby Doo = Licensed (but some people want it in "action" theme).

You are NOT a mod. Just for emphasis, allow me to repeat that - You are NOT a mod. You are a member that seems to think it's wonderful to inflict your opinion on others consistantly. You have to keep in mind, your opinion? It's just, like, your opinion man. Keep it to yourself and let the mods do their job. -

Are you sure it wasn't a fat guy in a red suit? Maybe some cookie crumbs in a long white beard? -
Sort of... In the U.S. Target's "exclusive" Hobbit Blu Ray movies; blue coat Bilbo, Legolas Polybag, and (it's presumed) Bain is coming with Battle of Five Armies.

Nope. I don't think any of those sticker books come with figures. And that one in particular is already for sale (released Dec 29), and at least in the U.S. market has no minifigure attached: http://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Sticker-Collection-ULTIMATE-COLLECTIONS/dp/1465428461/ref=sr_1_11?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1420461231&sr=1-11&keywords=lego+sticker+book

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

Maybe soon? There is that Netflix MCU tie in show with Daredevil later this year (followed by Jessica Jones, Power Man, and Iron Fist shows). So far, they haven't promoted any Marvel television properties aside from USM and AA, but who knows what the future will hold :) -
Thanks for the heads up about this, Zion! I went and price adjusted the one I grabbed last week for the seven bucks back(I probably would have picked up another but they were out of stock already).

Yes, according to LEGO S@H, and Amazon it's the 1st in the U.S. Not sure about other markets, though.

Checked 2 Targets and 2 Walmarts today (I was looking for post xmas clearance, not particularly for the new sets). Neither Walmart had anything noteworthy. Both Targets had the full range of new DC sets (although only one had them on the shelf, the other I just tried a few DCPI codes on their price checkers to see they had them in stock). I was only going to grab the Green Lantern set, but then noted the Javelin was $59.99 (S@H and amazon both have it listed for $69.99) so I went ahead and grabbed it. To you guys that are looking: Good hunting! Don't forget if you have Targets in your area, many of the price checkers allow you to enter in DCPI's yourself to check inventory!

A user on TnB reported that the Brainiac Attacks (76040) set was found, on the shelf, at a Target (in the U.S.).

If anyone grabs one of the TRU Rocket Polys (in the US) could you please post the item # from the receipt? I talked to a manager at the local TRU and she had no idea what I was talking about. -
I think there's a pretty good chance of that variant of Rocket appearing later - maybe as a poly or maybe even in a set. Remember there are still rumors of an animated Guardians of the Galaxy show (with artwork based on the MCU). LEGO already makes Ultimate Spider-man and Avengers Assemble sets. Since the line is evergreen now, it's not like the movie is the last time to promote/make GotG sets in the foreseeable future with the cartoon coming soon :)

Hmm do they make the hand piece in pearl gold? hehe These are pretty neat, although on the expensive side (imo). It is very odd to me all the attention to details in the printing and the parts selection, then not having Drogo be nougat (I think that's the name of the color?). Aside from that, they seem well done and something some die hard fans will probably have to have.

LOL. Relax! Rumors, by their very nature aren't always credible. And a property that has the potential to become future sets is way more valid conversation than someone repeating themselves ad nauseam.

But these days, Nova and Beetle are NOT obscure, because they are heavily featured in the Ultimate Spider-Man animated show. Nova is part of the core team (along with a teenage Iron Fist, Powerman, and White Tiger). Beetle is a oft recurring villain. I totally agree with you though, I would love some obscure characters in minifig form (and also some popular ones, like Green Lantern, and Cyborg).

It's what was on the cards at the Toy Fair for release, so official, at least tentatively. If the Marvel/DC sets that "officially" released on March 1st are any indication you might find them on store shelves mid May :)

A moderator already chimed in for what the "official" view of the talk was. I'm not sure what the "as a member I feel I have a right to ask for better moderating" means. If a moderator doesn't agree with you that doesn't mean that they are wrong. They are not your employees. They work (VOLUNTEER) for the betterment of the community. Just something to keep in mind :)

Thanks :) Debating buying this or just renting and waiting for the extended version.

Isn't that the same costume that the blue coat version was based on? The one that came from the blu ray release of the first film, I mean? Speaking of blu releases... Is the Legolas poly identical printing to the Mirkwood Spider or different in some way?
