Has anyone noticed that whenever Toys R` Us has a buy one and get the other 50% off sale they list the very expensive sets as out of stock when they were listed as available just before the sale begun and as soon as the sale is over they list the expensive sets as available again. For example right now they have a similar sale on all lego sets even star wars and when I checked earlier in the week before this sale even begun the death star was listed as available but today its suddenly unavailable once the sale has gone up on their site and I was really looking forward to picking up the death star and the London tower bride

The reason why I said the unclear picture is important because it looks deliberately blurred hence the unreliability of said image and it is the best argument because from that alone you can tell its fake.

It looks fake because the mini-figure is still in development plus why not a clearer picture.

It was very strong here in New York luckily when I got home all the shelves were still up and not one of my mini-figures fell down weird .

The lion knights captured it while saving their fellow knight besides its the only one can can fit perfectly though the draw bridge and small enough to have enough room inside, I plan on mocing it out so that it will be the king`s carriage.

I see your point but the picture really does not do it justice and as regards to the opening where you can see through the castle well I did thought about sealing it but I realized that it would make the interior too dark considering how high the walls are but I do have to get some plats 4x4 plates to cover the studs.

That room is actually incomplete I wanted the lion knights to atleast have a wizard and he is the only only one i have so I guess you can say he left the dark side of the force. The bars are ladders so that the knights can reach the tower. The front wooden drawbridge lowers onto a ''concrete'' bridge that runs right through a guard tower but there was not enough room on the desk to display everything.

This project began 2 years ago when I decided I needed a castle for my king and his men . It took 2 years mainly due to budget and the castle is still only 90% complete it would of been finished but I wanted to get some of the new 2011 sets that were out. It is very heavy around 10 pounds I think due to the base which I had to pack tightly so as to support the weight of the entire castle. This is actually a smaller version of the original moc I made ........the original one covered four grey base plates but I had to reduce the size because i did not have enough pieces to complete it which brings me to some advice to those new moc builders..........despite the great mocs on here that are quite huge bigger does not always mean better and you have to work within your limits or else you will end up bankrupt...by reducing the size of my castle to the present one here i ended up with so many extra pieces left over that i was able to add details to the castle but overall just be happy with what you built because every moc is a great moc. This is the front of the castle and as you can see I kept the drawbridge from the original kingdoms kings castle since it was already done perfectly with the only minor adjustments being made was making it a bit taller than the original to accommodate the size of the rest of the castle. Here a dragon knight is trying to gather the gold and silver from the river. The other side of the castle ....I tried to put some large trees on both sides to break up the grey walls and also to give the dragon knights a way to attack ...the red studs are fruits. The back of the castle ........the black gate is for the king to escape when the castle comes under attack and as you can see the king`s quarters is still incomplete but there is a throne, fire place and a table and i have not decided if to make the part below the roof another room or seal it off..........the original tower form the kingdoms kings castle was kept and I tried to make every part of the castle as assessable as possible to the mini-figures by either using stairs or ladders....the spider web was added to block off the stairs since I was running out of pieces and also to give the back of the castle a more dark and mysterious appeal. The interior of the castle ....I tried to make this castle self sufficient so I added a fountain for fresh water..........directly below the wooden stairs (not in picture) is the jail cell ...........the little room next to the drawbridge is a ware house for storing food supplies and the little steps lead to the top of that structure so that the mini-figure can activate the mechanism that lowers and raises the front gate ..........directly below the king`s quarters are the stables and next to it you can see the black smiths shop for making weapons. Comments on my moc are appreciated

I had a similar experience last year which made me stop buying lego on ebay except if it is listed as new in box . I had bought a star wars at-ap from a particular seller and I looked at his pictures and description of the item which stated it was 100% complete yet when I received the item it was 50% complete and I actually got lego atlantis pieces and even the tail fin of an airplane. I immediately contacted the seller and told him of what I got and sent him photos of the pieces and told him that I was contacting my lawyer plus notifying ebay to seek legal action..........I spent 30 something dollars on this and want about to get ripped off and as you said in your post the picture on ebay was of a fully assembled set and his excuse was that he just piled everything into the box and didnt sort the pieces and i told him i wanted my money back and will ship back the set to him but he will have to cover my shipping cost.....after not hearing from him for quite a while, when he heard that I was seeking legal action against him he refunded me back all my money and told me to keep the set. My advice to you if you ever get in a situation like this is that even-though you may not have a lawyer still tell them you have one and will be taking legal action against them and notify ebay immediately and take pictures of what you got because that is the only way you will get any action taken.

Well those were just extra pieces i had left over from my castle moc so I didnt have enough to fix the tree part on top ......I originally intended it to be a cave (I was out of the dark bley bricks) but since you brought up the point of it being a hollowed out portion of a tree I may use it like that......I am going to add some gems on the wall so it can be like a mining area.

Please give me your comments on my moc whether there is anything I need to improve or any faults.

I was experimenting with different styles to make a realistic-looking cave for the dragon knights where they can run to hide after an unsuccessful attack on the kings castle.

This got me thinking .......could it possible be a new death star but with more spacious playable levels and a mechanism that allows for it to collapse to replicate it being destroyed.....wait given the endor attack set could it be the endor ewok village set on comparable size and quality as the death star?..........that would definitely be a set that wont be produced again.

I wonder what it could be ...it sounds like something from the dark side of the force.

What was that curved part on the top of the hatch?...never seen that piece before unless its one of those tubes.

I have collected every lego pirate ship ever made even the Queens Anns Revenge but this is one I am not getting ...it doesnt look too appealing and considering kids are the main target audience I would of assumed that lego would of made it more attractive plus I dont like that it is very low and by that I mean the hull and everything looks soo cramped and lacking any detail whatsoever........I think this was a bad choice by lego to end this years wave of this theme with something like this.

Ok i went on the Toys `R Us and it says buy one and get the other 50% off ''Buy 1 Get 1 50% off LEGO Ninjago, City & Toy Story Sets'' that is a quote from the site itself however today i got a flyer advertisement in the newspaper showing this same sale but and BUT it has star wars listed and one of the themes included in the sale therefore will they honor that printed statement and if they do i suggest all those that have the flyer go and get your 2011 sets ...I will try and put up a pic of the flyer to show you all OK I double checked the flyer listed online and the one I have .........the one I have begins this Sunday so it appears that star wars theme will be buy one and get the other 50% off so hopefully this years star wars wave will be included.

Has anyone noticed that when the Hoth Eco Base first appeared on Toys `R US it was listed at $89.99 and now it has been listed at $94.99 ...I was thinking of buying it when I saw the 89 price tag but now that it is 94 I will pass just too much for a set like that. Was that 89 price a mistake or just a Lego price and the 94 the Toys `R Us price as mentioned earlier? and if that is the case why initially put the 89 price and then change it?..........maybe Lego stepped in?
