A bunch of information on the theme: - I was right! The ninjas (and the skeletons, too) are warriors of elements. - Kai (the red ninja) is Nya's brother, both are fire ninja - Zane (the white ninja) and Bonezai represent Ice - Jay (the blue ninja), Krazi, Nuckal and Garmadon represent Lightning - Cole (the black ninja) and Chopov represent Earth - The main antagonist is Lord Garmadon, who wants to steal three sacred golden weapons (a shuriken, a scythe and nunchucks) to rule the world - Garmadon's fortress is located in a place called Underworld - The ninjas can ride dragons: Zane rides the Ice Dragon, Cole rides the Earth Dragon, and Jay rides the Lightning Dragon - Cole DX and Zane DX are special, because the have "dragon rider armor" printed on their torsos - Nuckal is the General of the Skeleton Army - The four-armed skeleton is called Samukai I've got eight golden katanas from 8107 Fight for the Golden Tower sets and I must say they are different from the ones from the Collectible MF's ninja had. They're more shiny.

He means his MOCs, not the regular sets. EDIT: Ooops, too late.
-
- No nazi helmet for the biker skeleton... I'm a little disappointed. - The ninjas in regular sets have the same detailed prints as the separated packed ones! - The dojo looks cool and has a lot of details (flags, paper walls)! - We will be getting Nya in Garmadon's Fortess! It seems that she has nice printing. - The ninja master looks really nice!

It's "pharaohs quest".

The old Adventurers line had an obvious "Indiana Jones" feel to it, while Pharaoh's Quest is waaay different. I don't think it's a remake of the classic theme, it rather seems to be inspired by Tomb Raider games: lots of action, soldiers, guns, mythical creatures, undead mummies, living Anubis statues... All those things can be found in Tomb Raider IV The Last Revelation. Even the giant cobra looks exactly like the one Lara fights in TR4.

Yeah, but the head looks like it's too heavy and may cause the mech to fall over.

Wow, I'm suprised how the sets changed from preliminary to their final versions. I really like the V-wing, the Platoon Attack Craft and the proton cannon.

What a menacing battle machine! However, I've got a feeling the cockpit is a little too big... and kinda bulky.

Cole and Zane don't sound Japanese, but Kai and Nya do. Yes, Einstein. This theme definitely IS anime inspired. And the sets are designed to look anime-ish. WTF? Why Swedish? I tried translating English -> Japanese, and Google says the translation for "meow" is "Nyā", just like I told you. Don't want to sound rough, but... What are you babbling about? I thought I've already told you that nya/nyan/nyo/nya sfx represent the sound that cats make - "meow". You must be really bad at searching, cause finidig THIS took me merely 3 seconds: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090804174726AAYVhsm In my opinion, these are the reasons for naming the ninja girl character "Nya": 1. It sounds Japanese. 2. While the overall theme is designed to look kakkoi (cool), it sounds "kawaii" (cute). On the preliminary image, Nya looks just like your standard minifig (notice the standard grin) with Irina Spalko hairpiece, but I bet the finished head print will make her look kind of cute. Cute in the way Ibuki from Street Fighter was - ya know, badass adorable. She might resemble Hitomi from Exo-Force in terms of appearance and personality. Beautiful, yet deadly. Simple? I think so.

I'm talking about one of the figures (2172) that will be available on April 2011, along with Cole DX (2170), Zane DX (2171) and Nuckal (2173). In Japanese the sound "nya" is something like "meow", anime catgirls often overuse it.

Earth Dragon, huh... Well, I've just realized the four ninjas may represent the four elements: - black ninja - EARTH - red ninja - FIRE - white ninja - AIR (ICE?) - blue ninja - WATER (AIR?) The Ice Dragon is affiliated with the white ninja, maybe the Earth Dragon is the black one's pet? I'm looking forward to see the official versions of the sets we already know, as well as the rumored ones. I'm very curious about Nya - it seems we will have a female member of the ninja team. There's also a female prisoner in the Garmadon's Fortress. On the prelim pictures, both ninja girls have standard faces and torsos, I wonder how the prints on them will look like when finished...

This year I got replacements for a set from 2007, no worries. -
Yeah, he was Austrian. Bonaparte was Italian from Corsica, and Cortes was born in Spain. The picture (poster?) makes no sense.
-
A part of UCS ARC-170 starfighter.
-
Yeah, he also said we won't be getting any bigger sets, just the minifigs.
-
I wonder if the ninjas in this theme will look like those from the Exo-Force concept arts:

The new ones from Prince of Persia, maybe? -
How about a soft toothbrush? It's good for cleaning plates.

Speaking about Uglys... The 1999 LEGO catalogue, which contained the first Star Wars sets, also showed a fusion of Vader's TIE Advanced and an X-wing: http://www.brickfactory.info/scans/catalog/1999/003/013.jpg

Sorry for necroposting, but it's kinda important. All chapters of the Exo-Force online flash comics (1 - 39) are now available on brickshelf. IE users just have to choose the chapter they want to read and open the .txt file. Instructions for other browsers are in the readme file. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=410760 The man who uploaded this is a hero!

Well, after finding out that Ha-Ya-To's hairpiece from 8106 doesn't stay on well, I e-mailed the LEGO customer service. They were very polite and despite the fact that Exo-Force is no longer supported they sent me a replacement one that's tight as hell!

As far as I'm concerned, I don't like customizing that involves damaging original LEGO pieces. Some of them, like the SW minifig parts, are quite expensive so it makes me kinda upset. Damaging bricks. "So uncivilized..." Sorry if I'm being rude, but that clone helmet covered in black paint looks particulary ugly. The only one I like is the Heavy Gunner.
