  1. "Well, at least you can stick with something. I am always enduring a sort of internal struggle, which is the reason I think that I can stick with one job." "You see, my father, may he rest in peace, was a human. He was a quick hunter, he was quickly able to assassinate any of his prey in record time. But my mother, she was an elf. The forest folk, you see. She was devoted to protecting nature, not killing it with mass force. My soul is always being pulled in their two directions... I don't know what to do. I need to find my balance, I suppose. What do you think?"
  2. "Plenty of ferocious creatures. Some easy to take down, not as easy. A lot them can easily stun you or other effects, so I'd recommend investing in some immunities. Also, there are a lot of 'free hits', so SP is always necessary! I lead my party in the taking down of a nasty fire breathing newt. That leaves only a giant golem and a ferocious octopus for you fellows to takr down if you all are feeling ambitious
  3. Benji nods to Hoke as hr introduces himself. "This is a guy worth getting to know..." Benji thinks to himself. "Good to make your acquintance, sir Hoke. I do not believe we have met before. My name is Carvenhall. Benji Carvenhall. Ranger, then warden, then assassin, now warden again and soon to be returning to the job of assassin. My life is a bit topsy turvy, you see. I just got back from the fields of glory... It was fun but it caused me to think a bit. A lot actually. I've spent most my time here in the hall since I've been back thinking, and not much chatting with fellow heroes." Benji laughs, honestly, and for the first time in a while. "I'm already starting to feel better now that 8'm making aome new friends. "
  4. I guess I foegot to comment about mt questees Anyways, all of you were great players and I really enjoyed learning more about each hero's lifestyle and behavior by interacting with them. So yeah Sancho had some needles with him, some with a green liquid. The others with red. Overall four, two of each colors. If you had challenged him he would've injected the red one (steroids preaumably) in his arm and attacked the heroes. --- Great job with hosting quest 61, Kintobor!! Personally I found it an excellent quest with great puzzles and puns. An excellent first quest. I have only one negative. It seemed to me that you were really trying to hold back on giving the heroes much loot. Except a couple unique items, there wasn't a large amount of loot compared to the amount of the enemies they fought. Even the reward seemwd wimpy. 70 gold per hero? Thats a really small amount of gold for a quest reward, especially when the heroes didn't get to earn any gold during the quest. For your next quest, I would recommend not being too stingy with your loot, unless you want no one to sign up to your quests But still, an excellent quest. At least there was no newtity
  5. Capn lets not turn this into a star wars comparison, lest you get Doc excited
  6. But... But... They threatened to scalp me
  7. About the unlimited quest - we walk into a field full ofcute sheep. Suddenly they all attack us violently. What do you expect, that we won't fight!?
  8. "Ay, I've been hunting. In McDonauld's farm (e i e i o) he is overrun with dangerous animals, so we helped control their growth a little, if you understand me, haha. And then we took down a dangeeous drake that was threatening to burn down Eubric! Yes it was quite a battle, but i think you already heard enough about it from master Docken." "Anyways, anyone looking for a nifty shield? Or a unique quiver? I'm trying to sell some of my extra equiptment that I won't have time to make use of in the future."
  9. But he's not a viking And I don't remember him saying anythibg about hair before. It just seemed so random... And awkward
  10. "Stroking his beautiful hair" - Remind what gender Heckz is please. Or maybe it doesn't really matter. Because he's weird in any case Great, now with Drake and Heckz both in heroica, Patricia will want to turn heroica into an insane asylum
  11. Your quest is going to become the laughingstock of heroica history, oh wait, it already has!
  12. Benji sits down, starting to feel more comfortable with the friendliness of the nord Haldor. Haldor... Was that name familiar? Not really. Benji's memory wasn't as sharp as he had claimed to Alexis earlier. "Well hello there Haldor. Your name was on the tip of my tongue." Benji lied tactifully, "Which adventure where we together on? Perhaps the failed mission of taking down the fantom... No, perhaps not. But wait..." Benji's eyes spark when he recognizes Sorrow. "Sorrow ol' buddy, is that you!?" "Anyways, I was in the fields until recently. Killed the dragon. No big deal"
  13. I guess because your quest is so graphic
  14. Better have someone take pictures! That will be cool!
  15. Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say
  16. Benji walks over to where the nord and undead were sitting. He fakes a smile - he was too depressed to actually be friendly. "Hello there. My name is Carvenhall. Benji Carvenhall. And what are yours?"
  17. Benji returns to the hall noticing that Docken had return soon before him. Benji pulls down his own advertisement and puts up a new one. FOR SALE: Pointy Hat (+2 maximum ether). 60 gold, or best offer. Quiver of Poisoning (permanent Poisoned effect). 150 gold, or best offer. Wooden Shield - SP:5, immunity to wood - 125 gold or best offer. Also interested in trades! ~Benji
  18. Yes. But this is only one new character for the quest, and I've already been developing his conduct and behavior. He is going to be pretty much as insane as all of my characters put together, times pi
  19. @Flipz - wait and see! @WBD - Yes I can
  20. I built two interesting heroica related figures today. One, is Benji as a beast warrior. So yes, if any of you were wondering, Benji will definitely become a beast warrior after he gets to Level 30. If any of you have been reading his monologue thought periods, you may have noticed that he is becoming more secluded and thoughtful, but its possible that soon this change of behavior will backfire...? Only time will tell. Two, I built the perfect figure to be the next NPC for my next quest. He's just great. Seriously. I think I will enjoy playing him more than Riley, even (my favorite NPC that I've made so far). The only problem is, I don't have a quest for this bugger yet
  21. ... Anyone could do something as simple as changing a couple dice to 6, if they tried hard enough Even with paint...
  22. You lie. Photoshop. Cheater Your dice are evil. I'm never going on a quest made by you
  23. Benji walked around outside. He didn't feel like returning to the hall, no, at least not yet. His heart was feeling dark with the burden of remembering his mother, and how he hadn't contacted her in over five or six years. "Is she even alive?" Benji anxiously wondered. "No, of course she is. She is an elf after all. I'm sure she is fine... Of course she is fine..." Benji attempts to reassure himself. If only Alexis hadn't left, so that they could've kept discussing the past. No, but she wasn't interested. She was too caught up in the present. "I guess half elves mature faster than elves." Benji thinks to himself, laughing quietly while pacing the streets of the city. "I guess I should be getting back." Benji thought to himself. "No, not quiet yet. I need to think a little bit more before I make any decisions. I don't want to be hasty..."
