I don't see why not, they are both in the same scale. Putting them together shouldn't be a problem, its the separating that may be a bit tricky....

Well I thought about it and as I'm suffering from a BURP addiction (see my other post), I came up with this one. I had to drop off two bricks in the centre column, as they obscured the month brick.

That's a splendid idea, I'll have to think about this....

ok, as requested Micro BURPs plates made them look totally squashed, so I tried to capture their essence instead.

I recently acquired set 6766 - Rapid River Village, which besides including cloth teepees also has 3 LURPs (Little Ugly Rock Piece) and 5 BURPs (Big Ugly Rock Piece). Now I don't mind these, as they do serve as a replacement for creating large rocky scenes, even if they are a bit of cheat. So I thought, let's show a little love to these often despised pieces and after a little thought, using only 1x2 bricks I came up with these : A BURP in Yellow A LURP in Lime and Green A BURP in trans-black and a transparent LURP You may notice that neither of these are hollow, mainly I wanted to strengthen the shape. Also, as I only used 1x2s the top of the BURP is not correct. Now that's all well and good, but what I really want is a Great Big BURP (GB-BURP). So this time I decided to up the scale somewhat and go for 4 x 4 brick x 3 high (using 2x4 bricks) to equal a normal 1x1 brick. A GB-LURP over 500 2 x 4 bricks A GB-BURP over 600 2 x 4 bricks, plus a few 2 x 6s for the bit at the top. I knew all those PAB bricks would come in handy ! Who says you shouldn't build a mountain with BURPs, all you need is a couple of big ones...

The £65 ticket isn't just for the public show, its a two day conference with various speakers attending. For those wanting to go to the Main Show over the weekend, the O2 ticketing system says they are on general release Monday 10th Feb @ 4pm (GMT). The tickets that were sold out are apparently the "early-bird" ones.

Try the AFOLCON site http://www.afolcon.com/ has all the details for exhibitors.

I don't think it has sold out, I understand they go on sale later this week, so keep checking

Well my guess, courtesy of Google Image Search, would be a GP40 Santa Fe. From the color scheme and lighting positions, there isn't much which match.. original detail can be found here : http://atsf.railfan.net/gp40/

I don't know about the rest of you, but trains with noses like this new one don't look right finishing with just a carriage at the end. Is this just a ploy to make you buy two sets, like HE, or am I being too cynical this morning....?

Just reading the report of the London Toy Fair over at Brickset and the animal is a cow.

oK, this part has finished, what else do you have .....?
-
Apologies dude, ddn't check - you must have jumped off the front page

I always keep a look out for the new sets, just in case there are parts in specific colors that may be handy... so I saw on Brickset an image for 76015 Doc Ock Truck Heist http://www.brickset....il/?Set=76015-1 and noticed that the van has a 2 x 6 x 2 Train Cab in Green with clear glass, which might be useful for my future Cargo Train projects. Anybody else notice anything ?
