Very cool, just wondering but is that an 8 wide? Keep up the good work, looks awesome!!

That has some good pieces, the helmet would be good for space and the mini sub would be good for a robotic soldier under water. Good revie and thanks for posting it.

all Trains are expensive, I think TLC is being stubbern and not lowering prices for such small sets, like the police car for example, $10?!?! That is a true rip-off. TLC better star lowering prices or I will just switch to pick a bricking the crap out of Bricklink.

Does the 7938 passenger train light up?

Ghost Train!!!! That would be super cool, but this is good and humerous -
Like andythenorth said, lifelites are perfect, I use them all the time for my huge layouts, bright, long lasting, and very small, hard to notice.

CarrollFilms replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
This is amazing, I can't wait for them to be released, anybody know WEHN they will be coming out? -
Very good job on the SNOT floor, this is a very cool MOC you have here.

Ok, I don't know if this is usual but I have 50 9V Straight Tracks as my straight aways, and then a 4 piece curve, my train will sometimes slow down on the turns, depends on the notch I have it turned to, so it pretty much means your fine, unless the plywood is beending the track upward. It would be nice if we could see a picture.

Very good, to bad TLG won't sell individual train cars like they used to. Can't wait to see more train cars!!

Yea!!!!! There are new trains, aw darn there goes $240 dollars out of my pocket. (Trains are my true weakness)

Anyone else have this same problem with their Emerald Night?
CarrollFilms replied to Carefree_Dude's topic in LEGO Train Tech
How did I manage? *cough* modification. I made the thing an 8 wide and made it 6 or 8 studs longer. I bought 2 Emerald nights, and since i have 2 passenger cars 6 wide i decided to make them 8 wide. hope that gave you an idea of how i made it with 2 XL PF's. -
This is a great set, very detailed, very nice transparent baseplate, hope it's under $100 or else this is a rip off set.

3 Points to Sunnyx for his Battlecruiser, ID 149. LONG LIVE STARCRAFT2!!! That thing is EPIC!! -
Yes there are benefits, but after the battery box starts to lose it's juice you need to replace the battery box and no one likes stopping the train and then opening the body, removing the battery box, put a new one in, connect the wires, then let it continue. With a 9V you can just let it rest, no worries about problems, all I really need to do is switch the track and change the train, very little effort needed. Yes 9V track is starting to get pricey but it is time to stock up on 9V track. Really I don't care what you say about 9V I love 9V, I'm probably going to switch to PF but that will be a last ditch effort to trains, but right now it looks like 9V will be around for me, i'll just buy some PF trains, sell the PF's and replace it with 9V. GO 9V!!!!!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion
CarrollFilms replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thank you sooooo much for this update, I can't wait to buy the second series, from series one I learned that these things go fast, and that means buy, buy, BUY!!!!! I'm so excited. -
This is beautiful I love the kitchen, it's small, detailed, and the oven is super realistic. keep up the great designing!

Thanks KD for the news but I'm sorry but i'm getting tired of TLG coming out with Police sets, they should really continue with with an old theme just change it up (Space Police), or GET BETTER DESIGNERS that come up with more City sets because that's what most people want right? I don't know what most people want, but they really need to come out with more city sets.

I remember seeing this layout there, I really liked that train, wasn't there a guy with PF trains. Your Train Station was very big and detailed. If i wasn'tr mistaken this was in the....uh....oh god I forgot the room, it was in the main ballroom. If you walked around the ballrooms I had a 2 wide layout in the batanic Ballroom. Plan on being back at BW 2011? See you there, hopefully.

This is very cool, the red carpet is very cool. The little popcorn/food stand is really cool, did you use life lites for that? This is a very cool building, i've been trying to build a cinema but nothing good has come out of mine. keep up the good work!

I completely forgot about those, The Metroliner, and the Cargo Railway are very cool and beautiful, but I still think Diesel is better loioking, well e-locs are cool, especially the new Passenger train (looks nice) and the old white one. I think they are sleak and are good for speed. So I have changed my mind that both e-locs and Diesels are very cool and beautiful

MOC: Monster Truck
CarrollFilms replied to Krickrac94's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That is actually really good, I once spent 3 weeks building a 4 baseplate long bridge for 2 Trains to run on, it took forever, I used all my red and yellow. The Bridge was only used once because it couldn't handle the weight from my 2 trains, each was pulling about 8 pounds each, that means my bridge had to hold more than 15 pounds of weight. So I had to take it apart, anyway, very good design. -
This is a very unique looking MOC City, The Subway is very nice and detailed, but the buildings are just out of this world. Keep up the great work!
