  1. Well I kind of like the violence, only in a few sets, if they are going to have violence in a set it will most likely be in a police set, but majority of those sets are chasing. So no, because there wouldn't be any good sets with lots of weapons, the only good sets with violence would need parts like BrickForge and BrickArms.com
  2. 9V has been decomisioned from what I have heard from TLG. Also when I was at Brickworld 2010 I asked one of the head designers if 9V would ever be broguth back, NO he said, and that was the end of the conversation, so if I were you, STOCK UP WHILE YOU CAN, I have already bought 120 pieces of 9V straight track and I plan on buying some motors in a while. Don't plan on the prices going down, they will slowly start going up. Go to Bricklink.com for cheap 9V track, that's where I get all mine. LONG LIVE 9V!!!!!
  3. That would be nice, but I like the 9V monorail, the only way I would switch to a new monorail, it needs to be cheaper than $12 a track, it ran on PF's and it was very detailed. but I highly dought TLG will make monorail. Back on the Train ideas, The Emerald Night was very beautiful and detailed it had 1-2 flaws when used. First one was the Power Functions, it never worked the greatest when it ran on PF's. On sharp turns it would lose traction. Second off it only came with one Passenger Car, TLG must've never thought of it's customers wanting a second or even a third car. I still think the Emerald Night it nice, but TLG should really go back to diesel engines. Take the Cargo Train from 2003 as an example, it was very compact, had very nice detail, came with 3 cars, and is still one of my favorite Diesel trains. From my train collecting experience the only good trains where diesel and those were the most detailed (Santa Fe, Cargo Train, Cargo Railway, Freight and Crane Railway, And the BNSF locomotrive) Those trains were very nice looking, some were quite realistic. So idea's for future trains, DIESEL!!!!
  4. This theme for Lego is actually quite good from what I thought it would be, PoP is actually doesn't have very detailed sets, but i've bought quite a few of the sets and made a very detailed castle with the pieces. Characters aren't really all that great, just a few cool looking torso's and head gear but I think PoP is some what a waste of Lego, TLG didn't do all that great putting lots of detail into the sets.
  5. Very good LDD indeed, now if you did make it in Real life, add stickers.
  6. Like peterab said, it's better to just buy the parts yourself, and yes Ebay and Bricklink work great, but if i were you i would just wait until some one has a spare car and then buy it, that's how I got my 2 extra passenger train cars.
  7. I use my Emerald Night for races (with 2 XL PF mototrs) and when it hits those turns it loses it's front buffers, but I finally got an idea, glue it down. I got the idea from when one of you guys said "tape" I can't believe I didn't think of it earlier, just glue it on. so yea it works great now.
  8. This is very cool, will you ever cover up all the wires with an actual engine? Anyway, this is very cool!
  9. I've had the same problem with my 2!!! Emerald night's, I don't know what the probblem is, it's probably just the friction moving it constantly that it moves it off the studs, but from what I have seen it always falls off. The only way I fix it is by pressing the crap out of it and the plate, doesn't last long until it goes down a 40 piece straight track and makes a sharp 4 piece curve turn. Hope this helped.
  10. This set, I mean MOC, is so epic. I wish eurobricks could sign a contract saying all extremly awesome MOC's should become sets, because this would be a "must have" set. keep up the good work Brickster!
  11. No it was not the hogwarts express, I am a train fanatic and there was a Red Emerald (shown above) that looked just like it and it ran on PF's. Quite a beauty I may add
  12. Well as you probably know, or don't, i'm part of a LUG, and we plan on having two sections of track, one 9V, and one RC train track. So mainly they both have advantages, and disadvatages. Either way they are good at somthing that the other isn't, it's like saying they are practically even. Right?
  13. I do the same, only for diesel's and steam trains I put the stickers on because it add's that "BLING' and feel. It doesn't matter, as long as it's cool looking.
  14. WHOA, for a second I thought this was the real engine, keep up the good work, and get well from the shoulder soon
  15. I remember seeing one of theses at Brickworld 2010, or is this the one I saw. It ran on PF's so i can't tell, either way it's really cool.
  16. That would've looked really cool at Brickworld 2010 with 3 or 4 passenger cars. very detailed, keep up the great work
  17. I never got my hands on the first minifig series, because of 2 reasons 1. I finally heard they came out about 3 weeks ago. 2. Never got the time to buy a set. So I think on the second and third time around I better get a set as soon as they come out. Best theme so far this year.
  18. This really looks like one of the old Wild West sets (The Bank) and the carriage is super cool in every way. I wish Lego brought back western, i remember growing up with the sets..... BUT I NEVER GOT ONE waahhhhh!!!!!
  19. Sorry pal, Lego destroyed the Molds for Monorail a LOOOONG time ago, so monorail will never be heard from or see again. Unless Lego makes a different version of monorail, but it would cost more than the last monorail series.
  20. Dude this is amazing. Have you tried adding tiles so it wasn't studded, anyway this is super cool.
  21. Ok, yes they were ugly, but I loved the sets, very detailed and cool. I collected all of the sets, a few i took a part and rebuilt a giant space carrier. then bought new sets, so don't say anything Bad about Mars Mission, because it had good pices and cool minifigs (not aliens)
  22. These are super, my Dalek is bad...I think i'll make a Dalek con (Master Dalek) this should be fun, but i'll have to find a minifig, hmm...
  23. I LOVE doctor who, to bad David Tennant was replaced by Matt Smith But series 5 Finale was really good, "Big Bang" had to be the best episode of series 5. The ood was done really good, I love the Dalek MK1 very detailed, the sontarion was hard to tell at first but he was very well sculpted, the cyberman loooks really cool. It would be cool if BBC had a contract with LEGO so they would make DW Lego's. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME! Great work, David Tennant forever!
  24. This new theme reminds me of the old castle theme, I never got my hands on a castle set though, I guess this is my chance
  25. Thanks heoij, that helped alot, I guess I can now trust PF
