High Speed Camera Waggon - the first action pictures
CarrollFilms replied to Haddock51's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Cool video. As for the "incorporate the camera to be more LEGO-like" I built a mount on one of my trains for my GoPro. It was one of the old Railway Express cars, it just had a little "adjustment" to the rear of it and had a weight taped to the middle. Other than that it was a cool video to watch. -
MOC: The Mighty Atom2 - Wacky Building Challenge :)

I love the MOC, awesome job, The background story to it is a pretty interesting read as well. I'd love to see more trains like this come from you. Keep up the great work! -
This reminds me of my first LEGO Fire Station set, 6478. Very well done.

I remember when I was a kid and bought the railway express. That train was so generic, but so awesome at the same time. I wish they made trains like the Metro and Santa Fe trains again. Those were the best trains.

10937 Batmanâ„¢ - Arkham Asylum Breakout
CarrollFilms replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
I like how accurate it is, compared to the game. If they made Gotham City, that would be amazing. -
If they sold these on the market I would buy an army's worth of troops.

This is super cool, I will have to make one of these sometime.

I must say, that is one super cool modular building. You must make more!

I didn't hear that rumor while there. Well, since there is a new train coming out, I think that they might as well go, out with the old, and in with the new.
-
I really like the detail of the door frame, and good use of the angles.
-
With that being said, I'll have to go to the LEGO store and pick up two. I have never really had the time to go and pick one up.

With the new year coming up I think they will be releasing a new train hopefully. Either in the beginning of 2013 or sometime in the summer. I really like the trains that TLG produce, but after a couple of years I think it's time to introduce a new train. The Maersk train is really nice, it truly is, but we need a new train. Steam would be a really nice addition to everyone's collection. Take the Emerald Night for example. That thing sold like hot cakes for at least 2-3 years, if not more.

Amazing use with the 1X1 flat studs. Keep up the amazing work

MOCs: Pennsylvania RR K4s Class Steam Locomotives #3750 & #1361

These are amazing. TAKE ALL MY MONEY -
Seeing all these long trains make me feel like I have such a small train display. My longest train is the Emerald Night with two passenger trains. TO BRICKLINK!

TRAIN TECH Help, General Questions & Talk to the Staff
CarrollFilms replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I know this has been brought up before but, does anybody know how to make the Emerald Night run smoother with 9V. Every time I run it the engine itself is dragging. I put the 9V motor under the passenger car. Without the engine itself it can push the coal car, and pull another passenger. When I put the engine on it just slows it down so much when it comes to turns. If anyone can direct me to the correct thread or if anybody knows how to fix it, that would be awesome.- 578 replies

We did an amazing job this year. Congrats to everyone for such hard work. I can't wait to be part of it again next year. only question is...who is taking home the trophy?
-
That lime green car is my favorite. I love old cars and loud colors. Keep up the fantastic work
-
For the Emerald Night, you should think about making a caboose for it. That would be really cool.
-
An amazing use for the clear and white studs. Next step, make the launch pad with rocket rover. Keep up the good work.

If I were him I'd buy two of each set and use the pieces that I didn't use for the engines, and buy individual pieces after that. Seems like the cheaper thing to do anyway.
-
Amazing job! So much detail. Plan on making ODST characters?

I love the blinds and small chair. To me, those really bring out the detail in the small vignette. Awesome job, and keep up the good work!
