from now, your Moc seems to be very detailed but it seems that we have different perspectives of piracy, for me, the pirates were like terrorists, you realize that there is one nearby when it is too late. but there were others (like in your MOC) that always showing their colors, with pride; but easily to find for the pirate hunters

first, welcome your ship has a interesting design, I like the sails. and about cannons, well, I don't see any rifle or pistole, so, I think , for the kind of sails (lateen sails) and the basics of the hull design, it was one the first pirate ship on the mediterranean sea. for me that explain the lack of cannons
