We have kind of made it annual to have our official Eurobricks events in the spring time. This takes some efforts to put together. But nothing says we can´t make an event even in the fall. We have spoken of making an official EB event in California for the American members, and for those who feel that they can make it there. Also Dubai has been mentioned. The later one will not be real for some more time into the future. An American event is kind of already existing by now since 2 years. Brickworld in Chicago. I think that we will only have one official Event by now, and this will be the spring one. All other gatherings will be Special Events. So we had Cutlass_Iz saying she will go to Windsor and LEGOLAND there in October of 2010. I said that it would be great to meet up with her and her family to bond with a member from down-under. There were more members finding this interesting. Is there a general interest for our members to meet up in Windsor and do something together? If so, please respond to this thread. I know it is a looong time until it will take place. But lets see where it leads. -Ras-

Well Kim is kind of right here.Since the competition never was declared finnished. So the once that is out by now is in this order: Captain Green Hair KimT Dennimator Dfenz So that competition ends... NOW! We (the competition group) started this out as a joke. Holodoc thought it would be fun to just let you bring different pieces, and never tell you anything about them. Then it developed into this competitions with the rules. If we would had the time on saturday (wish we never had) we would just like to see what you could make out of your bricks that you all (at least think you) did. Then we all could have voted who did the best out of 20 black pieces. There would not have been a prize, just the honour of winning. The once that was out, would have got a second chance. We had really hoped that more would go down the dark side and tryed to figure stuff out. Maybe we where to soft in the last thing. We should have trigged you way more, to exclude the more of you. The review is very good! But the set... come si come sa. It has way to little screentime to make me think this is a really good ship. Dont even know if I will buy it. That we got those mini-figs again is not so strange to understand though. But it would have been nice if they got one other character as well. The clone R2 is really a step back for any AFOL as well. Why didnt TLC make the head in metallic silver when they where at it? -Ras-

When just reading the title, I thought about the same as Holodoc. But then I saw that 19 persons replyed, so I just needed to read about this person. I got it pretty fast actually that it was you. It was a nice cover-up story to not say "Hi, I am Dennimators mother". He blow that himself though, which was very funny. Also very funny that you where following a lot of the real nerd talk. The most persons have no clues when describing pieces, acronyms, different sites you need to know and so on. I must say you have two great kids. Yes it kind of is.We will for sure do it before the 21/05/10, so that everyone that got the Merlin-Super-Duper-Extra-Plus-Rare-LEGOLAND-All-Year-All-Park-Season-Card can use it next year as well. this will in a few year do that we will go to several events, when no park is open If we get the opportunity to have such a pleassure to get a fine lady from down-under here, we really can´t miss the chance to bring some of the very finest members of EB there to meet up with you. Bring as many Aussies you can at that time I really hope that some good members have joined then -Ras-

Members CopMike, Quarryman and Ras 74 did a roadtrip together. We started 20/5 by taking the ferry from Gothenborg to Fredrikshavn at 7:30 Then the rest of the trip in this next pic is how the Swedish/Norway-team detoured to the goal in Günzburg *Imagine Indiana Jones music - Dadadada, dadada...* At 0:20 we arrived at our hotel. Morten and KimT welcomed us in the parking lot with a glass of rum and coke. Following morning we had breakfast where Holodoc and his son joined in as well. They where at sleep already the night before when we came. Exept when I phoned Holodoc to ask about the last guidance to the hotel. He never picked it up though, but he woke up he said the day after. We ended up in the highway one more time there go figure… After the breakfast we went to the park. So we walked there. It took about 20 minutes. We lived a lot closer this time then for 2 years ago. This was a lot easier then 2 years ago as the Danish team did it then as well, but only did that mistake once. I have no idea where they got the idea of walking then For this year you could add a few euros to your season pass, and it is now valid to all the LEGOLAND parks in Europe. This is very good You also got some tickets that gave you some good offers. Like 20 % in the big LEGO store $$ *Tjatjing* When all this was done and we had a walk in the park, we had lunch at the Dino grill We didn´t stay so long in the park this day. After the long day before, we where all pretty tired. We met Dennimator in the evening together with his mother and little sister. They had tried to find us in the park with no luck. Not so strange since we weren’t there anymore. They had had a slight malfunction with their GPS, just take a look at our 3 pic again Heard Dennimmom saying something "... out the window... not trust that *swear words, swear words* thing ..." Then came the Friday. This was the big day that the most Eventees should arrive. We met the Benelux-Whatever-Team in the park, and the French-Connections by the hotel at the end of the day back at the hotel. We also met Dfenz and his son that came all the way from Ireland. Last but not least DJ Force with wife, sister and daughter. She looked like a small princess. It is really the best with all those Events to meet and talk to the persons IRL behind weird avatars and crazy titles. The worst thing with those Events is that time fly away. Didn´t get to speak as much as I wanted to some of the Eventees. This is my story from getting to the Event, until meeting up with everyone. Please add your own stories and reflections of YOUR event. There is always small stories that goes around that is lovely to hear. -Ras-

Next year?You are planning long ahead I see. With that in mind, it will not be so hard to make something out. I can imagine to go to Windsor then at least. Will you be there for vaccation? -Ras-

Yeah, just like the preliminary pics we saw.But another Slave? Don´t know about that really. I would rather get a set in the size of the new Echo Base. With both Jango and Boba. Can have both one Jango without his armour and with it. Printed legs and arms on the later one. Boba as a younling and with his armour printed as well. I would totally but a few of that. -Ras-

Really nice review Do you got the Wookiee Attack? Would be sweet to see comparission pics of those 2 sets. This new one is so much better in colours. It looks abit short though. The jetpacks shore is a great news. Just hope we will see a new helmut design for the Fetts as well. Maybe somekind of BP witt Jango and Boba. Both printed arms and legs -Ras-

Great pictures so far. I know we can always count on KimT and Holodoc. Also good that Zorro had a great camera and ran around as a paparazzi. The pictures of all the Eventees where great Doctor, should have asked for someone to borrow your camera. *Mental note to-self* Jeess... Dennimator is getting all over this place. He is almost more cocky then Khorne after Windsor. He really grow some nice fighting attitude About the fight of the EuroHotel: Me and Kim was watching this in some distance. We thought if you would have gone up to the normally friendly doctor at that moment and pocked him in the side, he would have blown up. So good to have someone that can pick good fights in the language that is spooken where you are. How much do you got by now??-Ras-
