Heroica RPG - Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory

OoC: It's not being transferred into your inventory; I'm just taking it from mine and pouring it into your mouth. Only I have to use a turn to do that. -

OoC: Argh! "My apologies, Master Unth'or. Okay, I'll give you a Remedy, Master Unth'or, you can then take the Aquaphant, and Master Emorith, you can take a Remedy. I'll take the Tangleweed's Free Hit." I give Xander a Remedy from the Back Row. Order of Actions Bartholomew Docken Xander Unth'or Althior Emorith -

I attack the Aquaphant from the Back Row with my Briar Bow. Order of Actions Bartholomew Docken Xander Unth'or Dyric Rone Althior Emorith OoC: You can add conditional statements too, if you're worried - "I attack the Aquaphant, unless someone before me rolls Special Damage, in which case I attack the Tangleweed." -
Snap good quality screenshots in LDD
Brickdoctor replied to Calabar's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I just noticed this. You can use Preview to do batch resize. Drag to select or hold down Command to select multiple images in Finder or on the desktop. Double-click any of the selected images to open in Preview. In the list of images in Preview's right side panel, hold down Command while clicking to select multiple images. (or use Command+A to select them all) Then use the same procedure you would to resize a single image in Preview. I can provide screenshots if you want them. -

OoC: Right... well, I won't die. We can take a Round to use Nostrums or transfer Essences, if you prefer. -

"No! The Tangleweed's Special will seriously hamper our efforts, and it can't deal any Damage with its Free Hit anyways. Concentrate on the Aquaphant." OoC: No action and Order to make sure that the Round isn't run with the current actions. -
How may races of elves do we know of? I know there's the Brobric Elves, and I've mentioned that Luke isn't one of them. Then it seems likely that at least one of all the other elves isn't a member of one of those two races, plus there's at least one half-elven (unspecified elven race) and one half-Brobric Elf.

Awww.Thought it would make my Shield kind of useless, so... I don't think we ever found out how big the chimera actually was; it was always hidden in fog.

Bricklink. Actually, I should slightly correct my previous statement: I like what they're doing now with the regular sets, but I agree with you where Battle Packs are concerned. I think that over the years, TLG's interpretation of the Battle Pack has changed from "build an army to battle with" to "be able to play out a battle with only one set". I don't like this, and it's one of the reasons that I haven't bought multiple BPs in four years. On the other hand, I think it's probably popular with parents who don't want to spend a lot on LEGO, and they're probably the ones doing the purchasing for the target audience, so... I don't like it, but I understand it.

Oops.

When TLG put the same version of named characters in more than one set, people complained that they got too many duplicates; they were accumulating armies of main characters, and most people don't need more than one of a version of a main character. It's impossible for TLG to satisfy every minifig collector with their selection and distribution of minifigs throughout waves of sets, so it makes sense for them to go with the strategy that results in greater profits. The way they're doing it right now, the casual collectors can still get the main characters they want, the serious collectors get the variety of characters they want, and TLG sells more sets. I think they've got a good solution with the way they're distributing their minifigs right now.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion
Brickdoctor replied to LEGOman273's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Our review of The Soft War is up. To summarize my thoughts, The episode started out pretty strongly, with a good amount of action, but then it turned into a lot of talk and a minor conflict during the execution scene. After the opening sequence, the characters just didn’t seem to do much. That wouldn’t have been bad if there was significant character development or a major confrontation in the middle and/or at the end, sort of how the plot of The Empire Strikes Back played out, but this episode didn’t have that. It’s not that the episode did anything wrong… just that it didn’t seem to do anything of note at all. This to me was just a filler and setup episode. All that actually happens is that the rebels gain more public support and a general, and a character who’s seemed to me nothing more than a Red Shirt dies. Minor nitpicks: Droids always drive AATs with the hatches unlocked and the turret hatch open. The one-way shield had a hexagonal pattern, when visible shields in Star Wars usually have a more fluid quality. The 'Super Tactical Droid' doesn't look quite right; I think it has too many curves and its ball joints at the hips and shoulders stick out too much. -
Hey, it's a magic elephant.

I wish. The Aquaphant's Level is too high. Sandy would have to actually run all those Rounds to see if Dyric is still conscious to target the Aquaphant. I was planning to just keep it at bay until it's the only one left so that we can finish it off with brute force and a dedicated healer.Oh, and Endgame, the Artillery Progg's Special shouldn't affect Dharkan in Round 2, because Isabella's cloak makes her untargetable for the first two Rounds of every battle. She can only be damaged by AoE attacks directed at other players, not by attacks that specifically target a hero, like the Artillery Progg's Special.

"Very nice work, Master Unth'or. Take down that last Silver Carp. Master Rone, keep attacking the Aquaphant. Master Emorith, please heal me, just in case the Aura isn't enough." I attack the Shy Shell from the Back Row with my Briar Bow. "I'll absorb the Tangleweed's Free Hit, once again. Master Emorith will act as soon as possible to reduce the risk of my getting Knocked Out with this low-Health Aura." Order of Actions Bartholomew Docken Althior Emorith Xander Unth'or Dyric Rone -

"Master Unth'or, can you target a Silver Carp? You're the only one who won't get Knocked Out by its Special, and I don't want Master Rone to have to take a Free Hit. Master Emorith, heal either yourself or me. Master Rone, continue to attack that Aquaphant." I attack the Shy Shell from the Back Row with my Briar Bow. My sets aren't that good. Really, all you need to know is the 5:2 ratio and how to effectively use the half-plate offset of a headlight brick. Beyond that, it's just building a few basic sections of cheese, tiles, plates, and the occasional arch and using the ratio and the various SNOT 1x1 bricks to fit them all together. The photography and Photoshopping is what really brings the sets to life. And I agree, that is a really nice set, Etzel. I love the dark blue and white color scheme.

It is definitely Luke's helmet, but it's the generic face and has a generic name, so the helmet's probably there because it's a prelim image. (just as the prelim Coruscant has a CW clone with a pilot's helmet and the prelim Kamino has an R5 astromech)
