You know, if Elphaba's a couple days away from leaving (and she always announces how long she'll stay), you could just ask someone else to pick up the item for you just in case... I think most of us would be happy to do so without charging anything extra. (Don't ask Jeb though. )

Did we get XP for that? I don't remember.

They're meant to represent the same weapon, the Uruk-hai sword, though, right? Lots of customizers continue to sell their own versions even after TLG comes out with the official version, with a different name because of copyright/trademark issues. I wouldn't be too concerned about having the TLG version instead, unless it's a significantly different color. Ah, gotcha. By the way, if there's a stone head over the door that insists on the party answering riddles before entering, don't listen to the guy who insists on being polite and just check to see if the door is unlocked, first.

Nihilus, how are you selling a Stag Shield? Your inventory lists a Fauxthril Shield (SP: 7).

But I have to say that if I were QMing that quest, I would say something like, You try to dig through a stone bridge and bend your Shovel, rendering it useless. The Shovel can be repaired by a Blacksmith at the cost of 10 Gold., or I might go with, You dig right through the bridge and fall down onto the street below, breaking multiple bones. Your HP is reduced to 1 and your max HP is decreased by 5 for the duration of the quest. My quests tend to reward players for thinking outside the box, but I will also penalize them if they don't use a little common sense first.

It's too bad that we can't have the whole party in either. So, let's talk about the amounts of XP... With the party not being possible in either, I might go for Guffington 2, if not just because I just did seven months and nearly seventy pages of strategizing through two Fields runs.

How many bricks is it and what's the LDD quality set at? The model I'm working on for Flipz is at three thousand bricks with no indication of slowing my computer down, and Alienwar has been known to build LDD models over twenty thousand bricks.

Foog's Rubber Band is game changing for someone who uses throwing weapons, and it's undoubtedly very powerful, but I don't think it can make him the overall most useful hero, since Rangers can do the same thing. (Use ranged weapons with no penalties.)
-
Yes, you were part of the Quest 39 party that I said we'd be adding to.
-
I think Flipz is more versatile than Pie in terms of effects. And in that area, Cornelius will be even more valuable once he gets to Minstrel. But right now the heroes that I'd want questing with me in any quest would have to be the Druids. Oh, if that party goes on the Russel Quest, this would be the perfect opportunity for you to give the Sword of Ancestral Hatred to either Hybros or Guts and start increasing that WP.
-
There is the one battle that's apparently designed just to Knock Out Docken, but yeah, Scubacarrot, we'll be taking the Quest 39 party and adding another tank, a Deadly Poisoner, and a Druid.
-
I would like to go on Guffington 2, but if it's Ellaria, Atramor, Tesni, Hybros, and Guts also on the Russel Quest, which is more focused on battles and strategy...

You have to do both. A weaker enemy, even with little to no loot, represents free XP.
-
Was that from that orc war march in the forest when we first started playing the game? Shhh, we just pretend those things never happened.
-
No, you make the guards powerful enough that they impede the party's progress towards the goal enough that they're not worth fighting.
-
I said "sell", not "give". If you have enough unique scrolls for sale, you could probably control Flipz.
-
Sounds like a combination of Quest 7's dungeons and the Dastan Trilogy's final battle. But you don't tell the players when an enemy will be alerted to them. You give them a subtle hint, and if they fail, then they get attacked. (For example: Teuthisal head sticking out from behind a box.)
-
Quest 48 heroes, you should try to see if you can cast some of those spells before dismissing the Regret. (Not that I expect him to help you if you can't, but you've got nothing to lose.) Also see if you can turn them all into Scrolls and make a fortune selling them to Flipz.

I was under the impression that the Terra Chiman species were just defined as the minifigs from Legends of Chima.

Ameribricks: Shocking News Here

As far as using the board's features available to normal users*, the best I can think of would be to go to the Members list, click on 'More Search Options', and enter something under 'Country'. In theory that would bring up all the members who say they are from that country. In practice there's no way for it to account for differences in naming. (For example, there are twenty-two pages of results for "United States", two pages for "America", and forty-eight pages for "USA".) But it can probably give you a general idea.*I'm sure there're ways for admins to find out which members are accessing the site from which countries, but to answer your question... -
No, you should start Stealer 2 with the big battle. Like The Empire Strikes Back. Scare the players and mix up the conventional order of battles. Ultimately I think it's up to the QM to decide when you can use a Bedroll, but I'm also pretty sure that the description states that you can use it in a "safe place". The middle of battle is not a safe place. As long as you have a good mix of gems, you should be okay. Buffing consumables are helpful for the more difficult areas and restorative consumables are always a good idea, but for the most part you can pick up a lot of what you need in the easier areas. Just remember that brute force can usually go a long way in the Fields; sometimes you just need to buff the big Damage-dealer and go for it. (Although on that note, Smoke Bombs are always a good thing to have just in case.)

Hey, I think I actually have the pieces to make Jacob and Christian, assuming they're always in a different outfit. Maybe I should give them small roles in my next quest.
-
I don't use Word, but I do write stuff down. I did it in Text Edit for Quest 4, which was really disorganized. I've used Evernote for Quest 14, Quest 31, to script the Bro'Bric Interlude for Quest 53, and to script concepts for my next two quests.

Gem of the Redcloaked Goblin - Enables casting of Chlorine-, Titanium-, Magnesium-, and Osmium-elemetal spells. Sorry for the lack of a reference link. Giant In the Playground's website is having technical difficulties and I can't access the OotS archive.

One of the things I considered while jotting down concepts for my next quest was gems that combine two elements, casting spells with the strengths and weaknesses of both elements. Mostly because I have some of the trans lime green gems from Mars Mission (They were on the PaB wall at the end of that theme's run; I grabbed a couple dozen.), so I came up with the concept of: Peridot - Enables the casting of Wood-Lightning-elemental spells. The resulting spell is therefore doubly effective against Aquatic enemies, effective against Flying, Mechanic and Rock enemies and ineffective against Electric, Plant and Vermin enemies. So if the Zirconia needs a buff, it could allow the hero to cast spells of any combination of the nine elements. Facing Beasts? Cast a Fire-Ice-elemental spell. Aquatic Vermin? Wind-Ice-Lightning-Wood-elemental spell. In some cases it would be crazily OP so it would go back to being one of those items that players dream of having, but the QM could still partially control that by being careful about the enemy types used if a player somehow got his hands on it.
