"Certainly, Master Dean."I sell Romulus a Heavy Armor for 160 Gold. 8 May 2013: That's 455+160=615 Gold, for reference, because I was looking at my Statistics and initially couldn't figure out where I'd picked up 210 Gold from.
-
50 Gold was actually right about the amount I thought I could get for it. If a Rogue had offered 50 Gold, I would've taken it.

Out of curiosity, I went back and compared the stats of the heroes who completed the first three quests, and compared them to the current profiles in the Statistics topic to see who's gotten rid of their original loot, who's upgraded it, and who's just hung on to it. (I didn't take the Test Quester's stats from the Hall into account, though. I believe Foog is the only Test Quester still active who did not go on one of the first three quests.) Quest 1: Harvest Time Bartholomew Docken (Brickdoctor) - Dread Hat (Now also Immunity to SP Reduction, Confusion, Blindess, Badly Poisoned, and Fragile.) Sir Christopher Daggerfall (Fred Fred Burger) - Great Sword? (Not sure if same weapon as the original Shining Great Sword. WP: 8 instead of WP: 3.) Jess Islanti (cralegoboy/Sisco) - none Tesni Hightribe (Peppermind_M) - Cryfder (Now WP: 6 instead of WP: 3) Thrain Longbeard (Lego Pinocchio) - no profile in Statistics Tomas (Tamamono) - Gold Staff (Now WP: 4 instead of WP: 3) Quest 2: Looking Through the Wares Alexis Fenral (Masked Builder) - none Atramor Gibbin (CallMePie) - none Eric (Khorne) - Godricsleif (now WP: 19, Ice- and Darkness-elemental instead of WP: 3) Hybros (JimButcher) - none Lord Lawrence Boomingham (Zepher) - none Rufindel Galadhras (Rufus) - none Quest 3: The Missing Matriarch Althior Emorith (K-nut) - Dragoro (Now WP: 8 instead of WP: 3) Cronk (Cornelius Murdock) - none, I think. Couple items renamed to be Ennoc-themed. Signor Bacari (Capt.JohnPaul) - no profile in Statistics; character restarted Namyrra Uq (Quarryman) - none, I think? Is the Nocturne Flute a renamed Lullaby Wand? Nyx (Pandora) - Sandmand's Parasol Slyph Solanum (Dannylonglegs) - none

"Good day, Master Ranger; I do not believe we have met before. "The Gentleman's Hat is of little use to me, for the same reason that I am selling the White Marksman's Hat: I already have a very powerful hat. But 50 Gold, that is acceptable to me." I hand Em the White Marksman's Hat in exchange for 50 Gold. 8 May 2013: That's 405+50=455 Gold, for reference, because I was looking at my Statistics and initially couldn't figure out where I'd picked up 210 Gold from.

Returning from the Marketplace, clad in new armor and immune to two new effects, I take down my old advertisement and post up a new one, updated to contain the armor I no longer need: For Sale: Heavy Armour – (SP:5, immune to Fragile; suitable for Barbarians, Knights, Dragoons, Skirmishers, and Regulators; Bodywear) - 160 Gold (Save 30% compared to Fabian's price.) *Sold!* Venom - (Use on a weapon to make it cause a Poisoned-effect on any enemy it hits for the duration of one battle. A poisoned enemy loses 1 Health each turn. - 3 Gold (Save 40% compared to Portia's price.) *5 in stock* White Marksman's Hat - (⅙ chance of Assassination vs. Flying monsters; Headwear) - Make me an offer. *Sold!* Lover's Locket - (immune to Enamored; Accessory) - 30 Gold (Save 25% compared to Fabian's price.)
-
Right, because at 1395 Gold, you're clearly not one of the "rich people".
-
"Indeed." "Ah, perhaps that is what became of him, then. You defeated him?"
-
With plenty of Gold still in my possession - 505, to be exact - and a couple new Scrolls in hand, I approach Fabian. "Master Fabian, good day. I'd like this Scroll of Frailty and this Scroll of Poisoning merged with my Dread Hat." I hand the elf 50+50=100 Gold, leaving me with 505-100=405 Gold. I equip the Mail of the Renegade Commander in place of the Heavy Armor, and return to the Hall.

"Not really; he was a reckless Ranger who tried to poison an entire roasted cow with one of his arrows - Master Gligin here was the one dining on it, in fact, if I remember correctly. You, on the other hand, are a Paladin. The two of you are not really similar; you just remind me of him."
-
Yeah. John Paul wants to go Black Knight, so he was selling the Mail, and Flipz pointed out how awesome the Mail would be for me. Also, did you really have to ask? With a name like "Mail of the Renegade Commander", it's unmistakably Brickdoctorean.
-
"Good day, Sir Alexandre! I heard your quest went well." I trade Alexandre 165 Gold and a Deadly Venom for the Mail of the Renegade Commander. "I must say, you remind me of a Ranger I used to know...one 'Signor Bacari'." OoC:

Legonater used it as the game Dyric played against Death. If you've read the Bric'Bay Castle Writeboard (password: "eurobricks"; we used that while the board software was upgraded.):
-
I disagree. The "gimmick" is what makes one battle different from the others, which I think is an essential element if you're going to have four boss battles.
-
"Ah, Master...Gligin, right? I hope your quest to stop the Proggs was successful." I hand Elgar 75 Gold and an Aquamarine in exchange for the Scroll of Poisoning.
-
Could've just asked someone...
-
I thought it originated as one of those Zygerererererian ships in the slaver story arc.
-
I think you should be able to open this page; it has a list of all the emoticons with their codes.
-
I think there're a couple heroes who do - Ellaria does, right? (Nothing as far as an order or group of NPCs, though, I think, if that's what you're planning.)
-
You don't necessarily need to control the fish; the canon scenes of the comic do depict the 'fishes' eating each other, but on land, the (deleted) scene of Qui-Gon casting Summon Bigger Fish in the Theed Palace just involves crushing battle droids by dropping a fish on them. (And Evokers can already control what they summon if they so choose, what their summons look like, and to some extent what their summons do. But Cheddar Monk is a better fit considering that the entire reason we want to do this is because of Darths & Droids.)
-
In the past couple of years, I think FBTB had a list of the discounted sets a day or so before. (Actually, last year, I think it was even earlier.)
-
As am I, considering that it was suggested...on the first day of Heroica, it looks like. I would do it with my second character, but I already have plans for that one. If an Evoker does Summon Bigger Fish, we should also create the Cheddar Monk Expert Class just for him.
-
On that note, it's been a while since I've gone back and read The Phantasmal Malevolence, Darths & Droids Episode I, and I only just realized that the U'Kin were a missed opportunity to introduce Phanastacorians to Heroica.
-
I tried to get Legonater to play a Mage and try to cast Summon Bigger Fish way back when Heroica first started, but he didn't do it. Mechanically I think it could work, a Mage with an Aquamarine killing enemies by dropping fish on them, and then progressing to Evoker with the Bigger Fish as his only summon.
-
Even though I hate the 'real' version of that ship - it looks like a Sail Barge with wings put through a trash compactor - I have to say that TLG did a pretty good job adapting it to LEGO. Every bit as ugly as I remember it was in the show.

"Sci-fi feel"? Well in my case, the only minifigs I own other than the basic fantasy species are from Star Wars, so I'm sure that doesn't help.
