  1. First news of 2011 for me, sweet :) The police theme sounds more or less like a repeat to me, too bad. But they might look nice, we'll see. Can't wait for the space theme pictures! Did you see any technic sets Klaus?
  2. I think they do a limited selection in their shops, they don't have all the technic sets either.
  3. Your house fits in perfectly in between the other buildings. That chandelier is great, never seen one like that before. Looks like you've spend a fortune on modular buildings!
  4. You build this in only 1.5 hours? That would take me at least a day, probably 2. Looks really nice
  5. Thanks Tiger. You're right, it's ment to be a really old service station, so old vehicles and buildings will be added. Thanks for the feedback Lasse. Yes I've based my figure a bit too much on the ones in legoland. I'll have a look through my pieces to add rounded detail.
  6. Nice review Dr spock! I like this set, it's got loads of nice parts and looks like the most detailed space shuttle so far. Only thing that lets me down is the launch platform, there's hardly any.
  7. Hi all, I've started on my first MOC since coming out my dark ages 1.5 years ago. It's gonna be an old style American service station in miniland scale. So far I've got one pump attendant and a gas pump. Loads more has to be build of course, but I would like to know if I'm on the right path, so comments and critiques are very welcome. -Marky
  8. It's great they give us the opportunity to vote! I'm a big fan of tan pieces, very usefull for MOC's so I voted for that colour mostly. 48x48 tan baseplate FTW :)
  9. But how are they going to pick up the arms?!
  10. I like that a lot! Another set on my xmas list.
  11. Thanks for the review, looks like its good for parts. Spotted a little typo: "The box contains five bags and the die" lol
  12. 5580 (model team highway rig) of an auction site, with box in mint condition
  13. 6692 without a doubt, as in my avatar picture.
  14. Can't get much better than 50% off! Buy all the lego in the shop
  15. I'm going to start MOC'ing soon, I've got a few good ideas. I'll look into LDD, sounds like it very usefull! It shouldn't be too hard, as I work with 3DsMAX and Maya often.
  16. That's great, really looks like a scania.
  17. I doubt that Star Wars ever will be finished. I quite like the idea of GI Joe lego. Imagine all the cool minifigs! On the other hand, don't you think it could be quite limited, I can't remember much of it to be honest, but I don't think they had many vehicles, locations etc. GI Joe on youtube :)
  18. Nice colour chance, I think the wheels suit it nicely.
  19. That looks pretty amazing, how big are they?
  20. Very good review Pinioncorp. Is it just me or is this train really ugly? I hated the look of it from the first time I saw it. Train 7740 looks a lot better, and it's 30 years old :(
  21. Probably just people who sell their pieces on bricklink :)
  22. I think we're pretty lucky to even have 3 in the UK. There are none in Belgium and the Netherlands. I live about 45mins from the Milton Keynes shop, but their PAB selection isn't as good as the one in Bluewater :(
  23. Thats awesome, can't wait to see the flashy lights. Good luck finishing it.
  24. Not today, but last week on a boot sale when I was on holiday in Belgium: 7865 (Motor Replacement Unit for Battery or Motor-Less Trains 12 V ) mint in box, was never used, 5 euros :) 852 with box, perfect condition, got it for 18 euros Also bought 20Kg lego for 75 euros.
  25. In the last 10 years I've had loads of nokia's, because they're so realiable. But now I've got a HTC desire, it's great, especially for scanning minifig barcodes.
