    Kiray grabbed the leprechaun's head and smashed it against the table. She pulled his head up again and pulled it close to hers. "You're going pay damn well now," she growled.

    "I'll be right back," the female knight said to Illdria, overhearing Cammie. Kiray walked up to the leprechaun and put a hand on his shoulder, giving it a good squeeze. "Hey there, I heard you need to pay your tab. Cammie won't like it if you don't, and it will displease her and me very greatly."

    "All of you, enough." Kiray looked back to Illdria. "There's no way we can pay you half of the earnings. I'm sorry. Is there anything else you may want to help us?"

    *shrugs* "We can argue about whether Heroica is continuing the founders' mission at another date. Right now me and my crew have a job we need to do." Kiray pulled Illdria aside. "We're tasked take down a sea beast, and we need crew. We have our ship and aside from the five of us in here, we have at least three more helping us. Lane over here is pretty good, from what I've been told. We need a little more help before we set out. I'm not willing to risk my friends' lives on this."

    I'm probably going to pick up a new set within the next two weeks, need some suggestions. Nothing over $20 USD. I'm considering a third prison carriage (they're still selling them at my local LEGO store), but not sure what else there is.

    Kiray noticed Lane's glance. "It's a target... Just who are you exactly?" Kiray cautiously stuck a hand out.

    "Sorry, I just got back from Dastan and the last time somebody came up to me confrontational, they ended up dead. Look, we went here because we're in a rush and figured we could find some sailors to help us on our quest."

    "Right, Cammie. We're looking for some people to join us. Maybe you can. We need some bait, and I'm sure one as lovely as yourself would be perfect."

    "I'll be right back," Kiray said to Whales. "Kiray Nastayo, party leader," the knight stated to the slug in a suddenly silky smooth voice. Her gaze kept even on the madam. "I'm actually surprised Trovsty would let something slip through his fingers, Cammie. His hands look pretty large. But I'm sure you only hire the best people here, Cammie." Kiray's voice held just a hint of sarcasm. "I'm actually not looking for help from you, unless you're willing to of course. We're just here on our own business, nothing involving you and your lovely staff. Besides this is a costume party, what's your outfit?" Kiray threw a glance to the bunny girl. "And what are you supposed to be? An undercover journalist?"

    "We need to take down a sea beast, and we need strong, brave, hearty men who are bold enough to take down this beast." Kiray leaned in close to the "Dragon Knight". "I may even be able to get you work after this job."

    "Well good thing I already have myself a ship. Just need an able bodied crew."

    "Oh really now?" Kiray replied. "Well it just so happens I need a few sailors. Whales? Cap? How about you get Thimlin over here?"

    "Dastan is an... interesting place." Kiray stared at the "Dragon Knight." "I've seen dragons, and I've seen real dragon knights. Some of them certainly aren't worth dressing up as."

    "And just what are you supposed to be?" Kiray asked. "Also Pseudos is not the god of justice, I'll give you another guess though."

    Kiray cast a judgmental eye on the partiers. "Fan out and start talking to people," she told her party members. Kiray checked the room for any valuables. Then she walked upstairs to the man in the helmet and the two... people... he was with.

    "Fine," Kiray sighed. "Don't lose them." She handed over her weapons.

    Kiray chuckled at Actaeon's exchange with the doorman. "Are all supposed to turn our weapons in?"

    "You haven't even seen my costume," Kiray protested. Kiray unequipped the orcish shield and instead equipped her scutum. "I'm going as Pseudos the Guardian. Loot at my red armor and shield."
