Heroica: Glory Amongst the Stars - Mission #7: My Bleeding Hart
KotZ replied to The Legonater's topic in Heroica! The RPG!
"I met this guy once. Totally drugged out of his mind. Was telling crazy stories about some massive battle for the end of the world. There was a dragon. Oh yeah I had to defend him in court. That was fun." -
There's the theory day 1 no lynches hurt the town. In a small game like this, I would tend to disagree.

I agree! These mafiosos have no right to mess with our streets!

"Well, I tried," Varen replies to the woman. He then returns to the group. "Alright, I got some clues. Simon the head pilot got in an argument with Illbery, the captain. Not sure what, but it seemed like over something dangerous and risks to get going from the top. Simon wasn't too keen on Ilbery's directions apparently." Varen pauses. "Wait, I came in and stated everything you guys know." -
Fantastic work you two! Love the letter written.

"Hmm, alright then." Varen said as the authorities came in. Clearly didn't have much time. "You sure you didn't heart anything? Would some credits jog your memory?" He asks using Persuasion atteempt. "Either way, I'll let you know what I find in the end." -

"About two months since the ship, and crew, have gone missing. So Ilbery was feeling the heat and wanted to try something risky? Got it. Did he say anything else specifically to you?" -
Howdy everyone!

"Hey, I get it," Varen says as he takes another swig from his flask "Yeah, came by here not too long ago, the ship. It's gone missing. I know I'm being a bit forward, but if you had any knowledge, i'd look great in front of my crew." Varen flashes a smile. -
Thanks! I have a lot of respect for people who build smaller ships alot, but I find it so difficult. Bigger warships seem easier to me. Yeah, I've got more experience with recreating bigger ships, be it official sets or following Captain Greenhair's guide. I never owned one of the smaller ships, LEGO released, so I'll definitely look at those instructions for inspiration next time.

I like how Zepher is still using the avatar for the character I gave him in a mafia game.

A small ship to transport some cargo. I'm going to be honest, I h ate building small ships, just because I don't know what to do/how to design them.

"It's only whiskey," Varen replies as he takes a sip. To the bartender he says "I'd say the usual, but I've never been here before." He flashes a smile. "What do you recommend?" He looks back to the woman and extends a hand. "Varen. Former lawyer. Find yourself in a pinch, I can get you out of it. Anyway, I'm looking for something. You have any details on a missing freighter?" -

"We should split up and talk to the groups." Varen went to go for the bar but saw Merei got there first. "Ah. Oh well." He pushed his flask deeper into his pocket. Wouldn't want to be caught with that in a bar. "I'll go to the lone woman. If nothing good comes from her, I'll talk with the lone Chimeran." Varen flashed a smile to his teammates. "Showtime." He then walked over to the human woman. He leaned on the bar, motioning for a drink, and then looked at the woman, "Want one? On me." He then showed the flask from his pocket. "If you want anything stronger. Don't worry, it's not spiked." -
Can I join?

"Recovery, got it." Varen confirms. "Now let's say a recovery team can't get to the ship in time, do we need to fly it out then to secure the client's cargo?" -

"Do you happen to know the location of their last transmissions?" Varen asked. "Could we also get a list of the members of the parties, in case we run across them. Wouldn't want any friendly fire, am I right?" -

"I'm capable of anything. I think." "Nice to meet you two." Varen gives a thumbs up back. "I mean it depends, right?" Varen looked around at the others. "I've got a law background but am working more as a fixer or similar. My most recent mission with Heroica-my first actually- was doing some aetherdiving. I can shoot, I can talk, I can code." -

OOC: sorry been out of pocket all week, I'll update in a a few hours Varen rushes in to the hangar. "Sorry about the everyone," he says as he flashes a smile, although a bit winded. "Got a little caught up with some old buddies from back in the day." He notices Zaria. "oh hey good to see you again." He takes a quick swig from a flask. "Yeah, yeah, I'm good to get this thing underway." He looks around the outside of the ship. "How fast does this thing go?" -
Corrington: Sign-up and Discussion, Era II
KotZ replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
To the Esteemed Sir Allcock, Yes, the recent unpleasntries have been quite difficult. As we are now in more peaceful terms, I've been instructed by my liege to find more harmonious dealings with your people, something I hope we can achieve. War has torn apart families and friends. Your citizens who made friends with ours were forced to take sides, and vice versa. May we never have such a conflict again. Yes, we have collaborated before, but our forefathers have been mortal enemies. I do not wish for us to become that. Let us bring peace and prosperity to our lands. His Majesty has often expressed the threat Lotus presents to his loyal subjects and to the Faith. Our settlements in New Haven are constantly on guard despite the Loti claim of peace. Mutual action between the forces of Oleon and Corrington may be enough to truly bring peace to the region. To this end, I have been empowered to meet and discuss coordinated efforts and granted authority to represent the Crown in these matters. I will be glad to meet with you and discuss terms in Silithonia to talk about how a possible endeavor will occur. Perhaps our respective soldiers, sailors, and marines will find common ground and realize we are not so different after all, if a conflict is to break out. Yes, I agree a neutral location would be best, at least in these early meetings. I concur that Silithona would be good for us to meet. Perhaps we can start wth a meetiing on the north side and then go to the south side, or vice-versa, to show everyone we are willing to work together and overcome our differences. I will be in attendance, as will the advisor to my religion, Bishop François and my aide de camp Beachamp. Sincerely yours, Robert Perrault, II, Duke of Vitoria
