  1. New Guns ... maybe I will give it a trial to bridge the time for convincing TLG to do some ... Woody64
  2. 3er Bataillon du 6ème Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne: http://www.flickr.com/photos/34336019@N07/...499746/sizes/l/
  3. If you follow this link and take a look on the reference picture I think we can imagine whate the designer had in mind. http://www.shapeways.com/model/45734/sci_fi_shield.html Woody64
  4. Today I want to put attention to two pieces (SciFi and Greek Shield) from another designer (Leviathale). I've added a reference to his shop item: http://www.shapeways.com/model/45734/sci_fi_shield.html http://www.shapeways.com/model/45733/ancie...eek_shield.html Woody64

No, most of them are my own work, based on some starting work from mosana or michael evans.

    Bajonette

The items are now available in colors: Black, Limestone, Terra Cotta, Blue Additionally the surface looks much smoother after coloring! In this picture you see the new bayonette in swordform colored in Limestone and a lot of Napoleonic hats colored in black by the producer. http://www.flickr.com/photos/34336019@N07/4194725094/ Woody64
  7. And here are the results in black (alsoe here the surface looks much smoother after coloring): http://www.flickr.com/photos/34336019@N07/4194725094/ Also the Bayonette is colored by the producer now (Limestone). Woody64
  8. and here's the real result in Limestone as a group of soldiers wearing the M1 pot: http://www.flickr.com/photos/34336019@N07/4185571442/ http://www.shapeways.com/model/74648/10x_m1_pot.html You can also expect a Napoleonic group in grey today and in black by the end of the week. Woody64
  9. Tanotrooper has provided a great link to a complete set of plates for different regiments in another post. I will use this link to provide a set of decals for whole regiments from time to time .... (most of this work will be based on designs done by Mosana): Prussia 1er Bataillon du 6ème Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne http://www.mont-saint-jean.com/cent_jours/...hp?uniformes=34 3er Bataillon du 6ème Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne http://www.mont-saint-jean.com/cent_jours/...hp?uniformes=35 Bataillon de Tirailleurs de Silésie http://www.mont-saint-jean.com/cent_jours/...p?uniformes=126 Since I'm expecting a new delivery of precolored items by shapeways, I will also do some real minifigs during christmas time. Woody64
  10. I also like the normal minifigs more for building regiments, but how you build the different details with a lot of different LEGO elements is great!!!! When I first saw your single models I never thougth that you were able to build a complete regiment. Also thanks a lot for the link, this wasn't known to me so far :-) ... and it inspired me to make the decals for a whole Prussian regiment (based on a Mosana ground design): 1er Bataillon du 6ème Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne http://www.mont-saint-jean.com/cent_jours/...hp?uniformes=34 Woody64
  11. I can only give an advice for transparent (clear) pieces. Here's on example which I made with 3d print and Accura as material: and here's one example for transparent detail: All examples need a graphical 3d design as base and a printing company to do the final step. Woody64
  12. After a user request I have tried to assign the shapeways colors to LEGO colors: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/woody64/...color_chart.jpg Woody64
  13. I've added black as option to the single piece. But according to the price it will make sense to provide a 10 pieces pack. Additionally I have to strengthen the connection between ring and mask because I have one report where the connection was broken ... Woody64 P.S.: I've uploaded the packed version and added the color option (black and terra cotta would be an option) http://www.shapeways.com/model/71130/10_x_gas_mask.html
  14. I was rather busy during the last 2 months with getting rid of the "thin walls problem". Unfortunately some orders couldn't be handled since the items have to be redesigned. I hope the majority is done now. There are some new items available but mostly I have corrected old ones and made some packs to achieve attractive prices: Here are the new items available: - Straw Boater (new design) - 10 x Midship Men - 10 x Bobby - 20 x French - 10 x Napoleonic Collection - 10 x Officer Sword - 10 x Dragoon Helmet - 10 x Bayonette - 10 x Sword Bayonette For me the most important change is that with availability of the packs also coloring is an affordable option (in general between $1.8 and $2.8 for the complete colored piece). Especially the coloring also affects the surface and makes it more smooth. Here's an example of the WWI helmet collection in Limestone: But more exciting for me is that shapeways announced the availability of black yesterday! Because that's the most important color for most of the helmets. I will report some photos in a week after receiving my first order. Woody64
  15. There are so many ideas and short stories inside this. as always great work ..... Woody64
  16. I'm back with the results: SciFi Type M and G British Shako, Ferguson Scoon, Ulan WWI Woody64
  17. My printed version has arrived: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/woody64/...ld/dscn1334.jpg Woody64

Doing a quite larger scene with the guns at the left and the storming troops on the left would be a nice thing for the future ....
  19. Unfortunately I have to stop the printing service due to new wall thickness limitations. Currently we investigate which models can remain and which can be further purchased and which not :-(((( I will report the results as soon as available. Currently all models which are beyond the thickness margins will be set to "not soldable". Woody64
  20. Strange, maybe an admin has to take a look on it. For 3d printing you need: - 3d construction program (I use k-3d and blender) - a producer (I use shapeways) http://www.shapeways.com/ - a caliber to measure some dimensions directly from minifigs - some tutorials: http://www.shapeways.com/tutorials/ - some personal additional tools to check the constructions I use ViscamView (Marcam) Woody64
  21. Today I finished my 14th mold (It also includes some items requested by some community members): - all models of the 14th mold (2 pieces per item) - SciFi Helmet G - SciFi Helmet M - Scooncap - WWI Ulan Helmet - Ferguson Helmet - 10 x German - 10 x MM1 - 10 x Brodie The connected items are less expensive and are also available in a coloured version (limestone, terra cotta, denim blue) New I will order the test pieces today and hopefully present some pictures next week. (Till tested the items are available on your own risk. ) Woody64
  22. Inspired me to two full visor helmets http://www.shapeways.com/shops/MinifigCust...20and%20Fantasy Woody64
  23. The complete helmet was designed from pictures on the net. So all parts are my interpretation of the item. Woody64
