    Erdathcath quickly applies a venom to her hand cannon. Then speaks to the Merman,"Friend, perhaps you should hold your trident, we mean no harm, we simply managed to come across here by accident, and were simply seeking to help you if needed. Perhaps instead of fighting, we could become friends?"

    "Monk, calm yourself. I am sure there is an explanation for everything. Now we can either be too cautious and leave the poor soul, or we could see if she needs our help. I say we ask her what she is looking for." Erdathcath walks up to the mermaid, and taps her on the shoulder then asks "Is there anything we can help you with?"

    I say we just take the chance and go for the adventure! Plus, a couple of beasts would probably be better than the Ostrich Raiders.

    Exactly, as for any foes or beasts we may come across, they shall all die!

    Erdy takes hold of the map, pulls out some spare paint, and somewhat successfully paints in her course. Upon completion she explains it. "The blue shows where we will travel from our current location towards the power trees, the green, from the power trees to Shelbric, and lastly the pink from Shelbric back to the Doctor's house."

    Ok, I say we go straight east, to the Power trees, and get what we need there, then go up to Shelbric, that will most likely prevent any difficulties with the Ostrich Raiders. If you want, I can mark which hexagons to take for the path.

    Yawning and stretching wide, Erdy finally awakes from her sleep, fully replenished, and ready for another day of adventure. First things first, she rolls up her bedroll, eats a small breakfast of tea and biscuits. Then decides to look forward toward the future distances they will travel with her telescope. Then decides to join the Monk in digging with her shovel as well. Could we get a picture of where we are located on the map?

    We shall head out for Shelbric in the morning. Though we should try going off the main course, as it will hopefully prevent any battles with the ostrich Raiders. As for your father, he hired us to find 3 items for him, which he is using to make a staff of some sort.

    Umm, it appears we are traveling to Shelbric next... We must keep in mind to be aware of the possibility of being attacked by Ostrich Raiders. Perhaps we can find a way from the beaten path that would safely get us to Shelbric. As for the story of your father, it seems to match pretty well with what we heard, just from a different perspective. However, you can trust us, after all, we did free you from your frozen state. There is also the fact that we were hired by your father, though before this quest, we never knew him, we are simply helping him because it is our duty to help those who pay enough for the help.

    Eunice, just hurry up and bring a hero from the Hall. Adam, whatever difficulties you may have with Eunice can be dealt with, once this quest is over. We don't even truly know the purpose your father has for these items, other than to build a staff, however perhaps while we travel you can tell us more about your father.

    Thank you Adam! Erdathcath pours the Essence into the empty bottle and places it into her backpack. She then calls for Eunice, and asks him to select and bring another hero from the Hall. Someone who is fairly high in skill, and preferably a strong fighter.

    Ok, considering that I have been collecting venom for a while I would like a couple of those. and I don't believe Adam can use anything he holds. Loot division. Monk: 2 Paralyzing Venom, 2 Venom, Grand Potion, Magic Viper Skin Erdathcath: 3 Venom, 1 Paralyzing Venom, Grand Tonic, Demon Frog Essence. Any idea where we could get an empty bottle to contain the Demon Frog Essence?

    Well, it seems that battle ended quite quickly! Great job to all of you. As for the loot, Monk do you care what items you receive?

    I have not done much in quests, or battles of history, though what I have done, well now is not the time to share. Men, we have done good thus far, it is time to finish this battle, and remove these foul pests from the face of the earth.     Right now, we need to focus our fire on Demon Frog A, if we can kill him quickly the other 2 will flee, making the battle much easier. Of course, if he doesn't die instantly, we are in a lot of trouble. We'll just have to risk it.     I would be up for auto-rolling, but I am afraid we'll die too quickly from free hits. Also, considering the fact that once Demon Frog A is killed, Demon Frog B leaves, so we would have to adjust for that.     OOC: REALLY sorry about the delay. I completely lost internet for the past few days, though I am back now, and will post the battle order. Considering their slightly better situation, Erdathcath prepares herself for the next round of battle. Battle Order ____________________________ Erdathcath: Heal Adam Adam: Attack Demon Frog B (Front Row) Pretzel: Attack Demon Frog A (Front Row) Erdathcath: Attack Evil Frog B (Back Row) Considering that we are somewhat low on health, this is probably the best idea.

Also, Monk, you make a good point about the double damage on the demon frogs, so why don't you attack Demon Frog A, and I can take care of the Red Viper.     Well, that couldn't have gone worse. Ok, here is what we'll do, as Adam is confused, we could try to nurture him, if that doesn't take away the confusion, he could just sit in the back row and do nothing. Do you think that would work?
