I believe that's Syrena's head from the POTC Whitecap Bay set. Anyways, the Yoda/Anakin one is hilarious. It actually makes sense, I mean look what happened to him (inside the helmet)

I don't own the Mog yet, but I've been thinking... Wouldn't it be possible to put an old RC motor on one side (move over M motor or replace battery box with the 8x4x4 ones that come with Train sets) and connect it to the central diff via a worm gear? I heard that the RC motor is a fast one, so the speed should be decent. Anyone willing to try? Oh, and that's a gorgeous mod you've got there, Efferman!

I think so. The joint part of the CV joint would be able to fit inside the big hole. It would certainly lessen the joint distance from the wheel itself, but the turning radius would be greater. I don't have any of these pieces, I'm just speculating. If only I knew how far can CV joints bend in degrees... Oh, and the female joint in the hub won't be reinforced, but that's not a problem.

Wow, this is a really amazing MOC! I love all the superb detail even if I can't make out what it's meant to be. This is one of the best Model Team creations I've ever seen. The color and the way the sides are smooth makes it look smaller than it really is imho. The picture with the box threw me off.

Now I understand. But there's one thing that's not clear: does the compressor act the same way as the pneu pump? If so, then doesn't this here babe need an air tank? Forgive me for sounding noobish, but I am a noob who has been playing with Technich for ten years. I just haven't owned any big sets. This WILL be my first.

Are you guys sure that it is driven as in move the Mog backwards and forwards? That is a little pointless since the steering is not motorized and it is not remotely controlled. Personally I think that it shouldn't be driven, since the crane, compressor, winch, and clearance adjust (?) are enough functions already. Leave the RC to us.

Which 2011 second wave sets are you getting?

Am I the only one who likes Fangz? Witch Doctor looks amazing, an awesome successor to the Fire Lord. Didn't he have the Hydraxon/Von mask in the early pictures? Raw Jaw looks epic, but I don't really like Waspix or Scorpio. Rocka XL is just another Toa Mata Nui/Fire Lord. -

LDD on PC or Mac?
Shasat Spacerider replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I'm the 1st Mac to reply to this thread! Woot! I use Mac because I've been hooked on to it ever since I came to the US. Unfortunately I do think Macs are better (get mauled by an army of PC users) because of the graphic capability and the design. Although I've been hearing many problems with LDD on PC, they never happened to me.
