  1. I also have one sitting on my shelf, but with black headlights because one BL store messed up their inventory. I'll probably fix that one day. Still, it's a fantastic model. And soon, I'll have an 8070 and the Murcielago to join it.
  2. There were 2 that was available briefly for $1.00 each I was also looking into the possibility of making a white Murcielago and all we need are 32277, 42003, 43857 and 62531... Hopefully we get more white sets...
  3. You see that there's no mention of the ugly rear end I finally broke down and purchased 2 from S@H and ate some shipping fees. I went to 5 different Toys R Us and they didn't have it.
  4. I hate blisters, so much that I've made a little tool consists of 2 liftarms, some pins and 32209 to use as a pin/axle pusher. I know a regular axle works just as well but that hurts your hands after disassembling a whole model...
  5. Nah that's fine. It's just weird that out of all the yellow sets made in the recent years, there's only the 8457 Power Puller that had them.
  6. I wouldn't say it's a fail and as others have said, if they boxed this up and sold it, it wouldn't look apart from other official sets. Though I personally prefer the look of balloon tires on construction vehicles.
  7. My guess is that they were made from the pictures off Paul's BS folder instead of blakbird's mpd. Speaking of the Murcielago, the yellow #4 connectors are a pain to get, and mighty expensive. I'm in the process of getting parts to build mine and I might just have to substitute that part for a black or a dark bley part....
  8. I need to change my pants. At 9:00, it doesn't look like it's the Countach but another Gallardo. And at 2:00, it looks like a blacked out 8653 to me..

    Canadian Eh?

I'm not sure if anyone has posted this yet. Sherway Garden's website now has an event planned on April 21... It might just be a placeholder but there's always hope
  10. Has anyone with the set made the demotorization mods yet? Would be interested to see what you've come up with. I have some ideas using panels from 8051 (bought 2 sets and took apart the main model because I got a 8420 cheap off BL ) but can't purchase the set locally in stores yet....
  11. Canada never had it, period. I had to get mine off Bricklink. It was some odd decision that they never released it here and it ticks me off...
  12. Great review. Makes me want it this much more, one for display and one for parts.... Btw, how does it stand up against Crowkillers' Lambos? Mind you take some pics with them together?
  13. Can't wait to lay my hands on one of these sets. The parts assortment is enough of a reason to get one (or two...)
  14. Regarding 32054 Technic, Pin Long with Friction Ridges Lengthwise and Stop Bush: I've seen most of the red pins used to highlight steps for pushing/connecting submodels together and other colors used for aesthetic reasons. There are no frictionless version of this part as far as I know... With other pins, frictionless versions came in light grey but some have been changed to tan.
  15. 2011 is going to be an expensive year.... 8069 8070 8110 and maybe 8081 depending on what it is.
  16. You can see the new piece first spotted in 8067 put to good use as outriggers.
  17. Hmm... Front engine, RWD. I hope it's an SLS AMG. If it's not, it will be awesome anyway.
  18. I actually emailed Lego about the availability of that set and all I got was a copy paste answer. Good thing there's Bricklink...
  19. I'm a huge fan of trucks and this one looks awesome. Can't wait until you upload the Brickstore XML.
  20. Well, US gets the cheapest prices. I wouldn't mind that but us Canadians get shafted in terms of pricing and availability, we didn't even get the 8258 Crane Truck while the rest of the world did.
  21. You're going to love Bricklink. 755 turntables for sale at the moment.
  22. Han uses modern building techniques that require new parts from recent sets, like 60484 and 87082 which aren't exactly cheap. I reckon getting power functions, pneumatics and the wheels will cost you $150-200 USD. It's expensive but I think the rewards are well worth it.
  23. Heh... I just did an inventory of my parts and I need another 2000 parts to complete. 217 lots to juggle on bricklink. I blame Crowkiller's Gallardo and Han's Dump truck + drawbar taking up all my parts Btw, do you guys think the old style pneumatic cylinders will work? It would save me from buying 4 cylinders (and $30...)
