Building Dumbledore's Army...
JaseTJ replied to The Real Walkers's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
For Dean I'd use Seso's head -from Prince of Persia, in the Battle of Alamut set, in case you don't know who I'm talking about- and whatever black hair you deem fit (Probably just the normal one, or maybe Harry's if you want it poofy-er). The twins... I don't think they've made a female head in dark nougat (or whatever the medium skin tone is), so I can't really help you there. For Cho, I think there are more oriental heads out there than that one ^, and I'd use a pony-tail hairpiece rather than the one above. (I kindof assumed you're basing them off of the movies, but even if you're not, they were pretty true to the books imo) Oh, and Cho is from Ravenclaw, as well as one of the twins I believe. -

Same thing happened for me when I tried sharpie-ing one of those generic peachy heads to use for my Cappy...

I was originally going to have two similar structures on the ground, but I decided one big one would work better, and raised so you can put more stuff around/under it.

Thanks. If by crane you're referring to my hover-cart (Which I should label somewhere...), It's definitely one of my more favoriter parts Me too I think I may actually post a few pictures of the big ship... It's got a pretty cool feature imo, and people aren't as likely to click links, hm?

Astromech Workplace Contest: Droids Building Droids
JaseTJ replied to ACPin's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Well, I suppose TC-14 is pretty cool too... and the 13 droids are what I'm really eying, anyways. Amazing model! Looks like it'd be a lot of fun to play with -

Batman Minifig Customization Contest - Winners Announced!
JaseTJ replied to LuxorV's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Now I'm really annoyed that I took the wrong pictures... I think I could have easily won something.. Oh, and congrats to the winners ;) -
You did say in the entry it's solid gold though, which I believe is why he said that ;) Pretty cool 'fig, but fyi in the Dark Knight movie, they refer to Harvey Dent as the 'White Knight' of Gotham. His campaign slogan, I believe? Either way, just something you might want to re-think.

Heh... yeah... thanks! I should have plenty of time to take a couple extra pictures...

Derrick Rolands was a brilliant kid. He lived averagely, however, and was treated like any other nerd in highschool. He went to college out-of-state, then returned home to Gotham to make his way in the world. The would-be inventor was rejected again and again in various ways, however, and turned bitter. Since nobody believed in him, and he in turn had no funding, he robbed a bank. (He left Gotham for a little, though. He wasn't about to risk getting stopped by Batman!) With his project now funded, he got to work. The end product was interesting, to say the least. He implanted a computer into his own head, connecting it wirelessly to an elaborate staff. Using electronic waves emitted from the staff, and by relaying them to the computer in his mind, he would be able to control technology. Now he dresses up when he goes on his 'collecting sprees', so that if a camera manages to catch a glimpse of him he can remain unknown. Derrick actually lives in comfort now, having patented several smaller inventions, but is still bitter, and refuses funding from any companies or benefactors. -Inspiration... I needed a villain for the contest, an decided on a technopath. After I got little red, I started messing around with the capes and such, and thus was this minifig BORN! Minifig: Vig front: Vig left: Vig right: Derrick is simply walking into the bank vault, not having to worry about the security system waking up the guard above. Flickr Cost: Hood: $2.25 Head: $1.20 Torso: $1 Arms: $.50 Hands: $.50 Legs: $.95 Cape: (Red, Mini) $1 Cape: (Red, Standard) $5.40 Cape: (Black, Standard) $3.10 Staff: $5.50 TOTAL: $21.40 Sorry the pictures are smallish, I'm new to flickr. Tips would be awesome

Eoin Archer's father owns Archer, a large sporting goods company within Gotham. Eoin idolized Batman and other masked vigilantes as a young child, but when he was 21, he realized he had sufficient means to do so himself. He refuses to wear a mask, but his best friends joined him: one wielding a sword, the other a computer, and so he has little trouble bypassing cameras and such. He picked up the alias Arrowhead due to his use of a bow and his maternal Native American heritage. -The 'fig wasn't really inspired, to be honest. I came up with the character a while ago, and decided to lego-ify him for the contest. Hawkeye's bow had perfect timing coming out. Minifig: Vig front: Vig left: Vig right: Close-up: As his friend apprehends the criminal, Eoin is watching up the stairwell, knowledgeable of the coming police detective thanks to his other friend who is elsewhere, hacking the building's security feeds. Flickr Cost: Hair: $2.25 Head: $1 Torso: $.30 Arms: $.70 Hands: $.70 Legs: $1.15 Pelvis: $.65 Bow: $1.75 Neck Bracket: $2 TOTAL: $10.50 Sorry the pictures are smallish, I'm new to flickr. Daichi is just another ordinary Gothamite. His parents came to America from Japan and settled down in Gotham, where they opened up a sushi shop. He always enjoyed helping out in the restaurant as a kid, and has kept it going as best he can. -My inspiration was mostly from the butcher knife. I was originally going to make a tv-chef of sorts, but this guy came together instead! Minifig: Vig front: Vig left: Vig right: Daichi is preparing sushi in front of a customer. Flickr Cost: Hat: $1 Head: $1.25 Torso: $1 Arms: $1.50 Hands: $.50 Legs: $1.15 Cleaver: $1.20 Knife: $.50 TOTAL: $8.10 Sorry the pictures are smallish, I'm new to flickr. Tips would be awesome

I don't know why any of you want a turtle.. there's an easy way to make them involving the army-man helmet as a shell ;) 1) Hawk/Falcon 2) Cheetah 3) Panther (Not the Black Panther, but rather a big-cat mold. It'd work for Black Panthers, Leopards, Female Lions, Jaguars, Cougars, etc.) 4) Lizard 5) New Elephant (Oliphant!)

Is that sticker on his torso from Cappy's bike? That's brilliant! I like the stickers on the wings and helmet too, though they seem a bit.. obvious

Aaaaah yeah. Finally picked this up the other day. Already modified the truck to make it more normal (no annoying rockets), and switched all the fig's heads and stuff out for yellow. Good review! I definitely wish I had another!

Maaaaybe I'm missing it in the rules, but do we need to include the estimated price of the fig as many have done? -
'No! Stop! It tickles!' Hehehe... I really love him with the ninja-mask-hood-thing!
