  1. LEGO shop = S@H or do you have a local LEGO shop near you? Do you just order for normal price or especially when there are any good deals to make? Benny
  2. Hey great review yoda!! I guess I'll need to get me some of these as I think the Trade Feds Army is the only one with really good ground vehicles (Ok the new Clone vehicles are nice, too). - Of course we need a new AAT!! Hopefully the price will be a little lower in time because 120euros is a lot, though not that much too much for this set I think *classic* 20 droids + droideka is awesome and makes one really tempted to buy loads of this set instantly *devil* A definite must buy! Best regards, Benny
  3. That's great that you live there - but how dare you complain about US- LEGO prices?! *hmpf_bad* *tongue* But you're right Europe-pricing is *sick* Where do you get your sets from? Best regards, Benny
  4. Well I got: 4 Original Endor Set (My first SW set ever - and it's still great I feel *wub* ) 1 Dooku 1 CTT 1 ATAT 1 Anakin 1 Ewok Endor 3 Darth Maul, if they count 2 Staps, if they count and 1 Original Millenium Falcon strange speeder bike thing *laugh* - must count^^ Gn8, Benny
  5. SUPPORT!! Of course I want a 501st BP - that would be awesome *wub* Only point I see - as some already mentioned - the commander shouldn't be in it. They should include the commanders in bigger sets maybe and the regular troopers could come with the BPs. 501st ON !! Benny
  6. We had snow this week, too - can't see it anymore. Should take some vacation on Tatooine I guess *tongue* What's that about crappy Star Trek Technology? That ain't superior it's just lame *devil* (no offense^^) Very cool pics indeed, I wouldn't take the risk of loosing parts to the snow *blush* Thx for sharing!! Best regards, Benny
  7. I don't keep my boxes, simply because I don't have the room for it. But I think I'd throw most of them away if I had the space, too. If I ever come to have a extra room for my LEGO I might stick to Mr. Mandalorian's idea here: I think this is a good way to save room and display the beautiful boxes that come with most sets. Greetz, Benny
  8. Set looks pretty cool I think, but there's just been a Y-wing released. Besides - I don't want a 3rd (?) Y-Wing honestly. TLC should make some new ship or maybe building (I WANT STAR WARS BUILDINGS!!) not a re-re-re-re-re-re-release of an old one I feel... Greetz, Benny
  9. Thanks you for your answers so far, I am looking forward to some more opinions on that topic *classic* Yes you're perfectly right - finding good sales might be the best option there is. Unfortunately there aren't to many shops that sell LEGO near my place (around Kaiserslauter /K'Town) and I'm mostly limited to Internet sellers so far. Trust is of course a very important thing in my idea of having some kind fellow sending LEGO to me. I have found the EB trusted seller list in the meantime and I believe I had read in some topic last time I was here (that's more than a year ago I think *I'm ashamed, yes *sadnew* ) where some members wrote just about this shipping from fellow to fellow. Obviously at least some members do or have done it in the past. Maybe they could post how they worked it out... Hey thanks for the news that's quite interesting. Some 150 Euro is about 240 dollars at the moment!! But not before december *cry_sad* Anyway - that's going to be an awesome christmas *devil* Yes indeed!! I think the pricing on the battle packs is the worst thing about it. I'd love to start some army-building but it's so expensive over here *thumbdown* A battle pack for 10-12 $ would be nice though *thumbup* *thumbup* *thumbup*
  10. Indeed, but I think there might possibly come some guys around that are no Star Wars fans. But this would require that anyone could NOT be a Star Wars fan and that again is highly improbable... *tongue* Benny *Beeing Star Wars fan since the beginning of time* *devil*
  11. Great Armies! Gotta take some pictures of my inferior collection of troops during the next days. And Mutley - what kind of tanks are those that your clone army is supported with? I don't mean the Clone Scout Walker but the smaller ones. They are self-made, are they not? Never seen them anywhere... Benny
  12. Hey! I have to admit that I don't like the sets that are not of minifig scale too much - but GG here doesn't look that bad *thumbup* . Best thing to say about it is that there isn't too much of technic in it - I feel the Vader, Stormie and Droid sets just looked like crap. They reminded me more of skeletons than of a full LEGO set. I don't think I'll get it but it's a nice set. *classic* Benny
  13. Wow this creation is truly magnificent indeed! *thumbup* *thumbup* *thumbup* I'd love this to be the death star set *blush* but I believe it would be several thousand Euro if TLC made it Greetings Benny
  14. TFU is not coming for the PC, I don't understand why but Lucas Arts does is with more games recently. That's just stupid I think - loads of people would buy it for the computer. And TFU is not for Vehicles, very right you are *yoda* , but it's good for characters I believe. Benny
  15. Hey there fellow Eurobrick members, after a longer absence I'm back *classic* . What didn't change is my opinion on TLCs Europe-pricing - that's crap and most of all expensive *hmpf_bad* Now that I'm thinking about buying some Star Wars sets in the spring/early summer time I wonder about how to get it at least somewhat cheaper. Ebay isn't too good in prices, at least in Germany I believe, and Bricklink isn't that much better. As I'm following the USpricing, too, I came to think that it might be a good idea to import the sets from the United States. Unfortunately I have no idea where to order or if it is possible that someone here can buy the sets in the States and send them to me or however... I would be happy if you could help me with my little problem or maybe everyone could just post how and where he or she gets his or her sets *classic* Best Regards, Benny PS: Sorry if I start an old topic again, but I couldn't find a topic that deals with the problem anywhere *classic*
  16. First of all let me say: KOTOR was/is and Force Unleashed will be AWESOME! Unfortunately I dislike the rogue shadow set because it just looks like crap to me, sorry. In general I think the idea of making sets from Star Wars games is a good idea, because models for good sets might come from every direction - not from Cinema/TV only. I do not believe that there will be sets inspired by other video games - except Star Wars because TLC owns a licence already. Furthermore TLC should stick to the themes it now works with because LEGO is just going to be overload if there are sets from 50 different themes. Best Regards, Benny
  17. I believe trooperdavinfelth is totally correct in this post regarding the quality aspect. And it is very true, too, that LSW fans and collectors would love to see every character from the Star Wars Universe produced by TLC. But one should not forget the army builders and the beauty of a detailed and atmospheric (correct word?) battlefield. If it should not be a battlefield but a normal life scene the builder might need a load of minifigs as well. So that's why I think quantity should be an aspect of TLCs production as well - and it is, just look at the great minifig packs - everybody loves a diorama with all the minifigs it takes. And Troopers rule anyway!! *vader* Best regards, Benny
  18. Well I don't own the set yet, was a little short on money for LEGO in the last time unfortunately *sceptic* . But from the pics I've seen I think it's a good set and the price is ok. (LEGO's pricing in Europe is crap anyway grml)!! The *main problem* for the ILC is just like natelite wrote the minifig sets (I love them!^^) 21/50 is a too low judgement I feel. I believe it was the Imperial inspection that came with the 10 minifigs I think? Greetings, Benny
  19. Hey there! This is a really nice moc - *thumbup* !! As a loyal Imperial Citizen I dislike rebel clones *tongue* but it's a nice idea that was dealt with in some novels, too, I believe to remember. The best aspect of your moc is the realistic look of it - most of all the look of the crashed shuttle. Very nice Work!! Greetz Benny
  20. As so many others - I'd LOVE to buy it but it's just way to expensive for me being a student... I do own the first MF released which took me a lot of my pocket money back then but that is way to much as I have to finance a car soon :'-)
  21. If you think the price is too high for the droidsBP what must you think of the cloneBP pricing?! Well, I guess I think the same anyway ;-)
  22. If you're lucky you'll find bunches of them in hoth BP - if released. *y*
  23. They will release EU-sets if the TV-series are succesfull - and I bet they will be...If only because of the huge SW-fanbase that became even larger with the PT-movies *vader*
  24. Yoda I don't think they should sell a shield generator in the only sets with troops don't you think? - would be a little expensive and I personally don't need about 20 shield generators^^ (at least not right now :-P ) Hoth rocks!!
  25. I'd prefer OOM-9's option 2 because I think a base you can expand as you wish is better and you rather buy some 5-10 $ sets here and there then some 40-50 $ sets. Only problem I see in 2 - zero Stormies. *n* And we do need stormies for hoth *vader*
