  1. It really depends on the carried weight. I guess for really heavy things there is more neccessary than 3:1, or even 5:1.
  2. When the diffs are locked, and only one wheel has grip, this is maybe not correct.
  3. iam working on a RC version. The speed is good for a short time but after 2 or 3 minutes of braking and accelerating the white CaDA battery Box is shutting off. The actual setup contains 2 CaDA buggies, slow output and a 5.5:1 reduction. I should switch back to 9.25:1 to reduce the strain of the box, or do you think a buggy less would do it better?

  11. Where is a grille, made out of bricks, filling the void?
  12. Why limiting yourself by limiting to the use of one system. I have seen the prototype last year in Nuremberg and the prototype has looked good with them. You forget this is a licenced model, and building with licence makes it harder to fit the look. Using a piece which is nearly as thick than the original piece, is not ok when you are building 8 times smaller.
  13. I will be on the booth on friday and saturday and will make some pictures.
  14. You should take a closer look to the panels. There are some new usefull types included.
  15. Forget the lego buggys. They are rare and super expensive. There are enough affordable Alternatives out there. The promissed instruction is online. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-206115/efferman/x1-mk1-dakar-rally-truck/#details
  16. Set to the same rpm on the wheels, the Buggys are much stronger.
  17. The final instruction will come tomorrow on rebrickable. this one is version 2 with a different aproach
  18. Reinforced cv joints are always better when they fit in the given Space.
  19. Hey Guys, here is the preliminary instruction for the Dakar truck. Don't mind the coulours, use what you have in stock.
