  1. with the new pictures i have to change my opinion. to hide all of the motors is really impressive
  2. is someone sure about the width of the 42030? my second counting is 21, how much studs wide is it when you are counting? my first counting was the same width of my own loader 23 studs but it seems a bit to wide in relation to the tires 100_0885 von efferman auf Flickr
  3. interesting, i try currently rebuild the 42030 and it is much longer than my loader oops, there was a two year old guy in the line of sight and the 42030 in front of the cab much longer
  4. in fact the L350 F has in real 37° steering angle so a 8:20 ratio would fit nearly perfect
  5. it seems a bit early, but we know how it looks and know its dimensions, so we can go to improve it: first planetary drive for more power now how it works
  6. then we should try to do it better with the servo. with a 8 tooth gear on the servo and a 20 tooth on the steering linkage would make the best compromise. or simply do it with one la or a gearrack
  7. thanks, roundabout the partcount of my loader. where did they hide all of the parts?
  8. nijcasno, i have made the parts so light as ithink that they would stable. are you sure that yur ultimate hub is stable enough to hold the bionicle balls in their cage when they under load? alasdair, your dealer is more expensive than my first one. my second dealer wants 45€ for all3 parts together. dont know whats the quality
  9. yes, my loader has a pendular rear axle, not sure if the 42030 has one. And yes the fenders on the rear are higher ti give the axle enough movement.
  10. does somebody knows the partcount of the volvo? @ anio Mini LA ar working perfect and in a realistic speed. btw speed i dont know why they have made this big gear reduction for bucket lift. i have a drivetrain which goes through the complete loader with a 1:1 gear ratio and i can go digging in sawdust. edit² Blakbird this in yellow would fit does lego ever made a planetary transmission?
  11. Aah there was my english not good enough. Feel free to make full instructions.
  12. U need a step by step for the axle or for the whole loader?
  13. My loader do many things better, but the bucket an the xl makes it a must buy.
  14. Lifting the bucket is in opposite to the steering very slow. Very dissappointing
  15. Nice bucket, but tbe steering seems a bit too fast
  16. the newer file "plantethub" is on X axle 39.9mm, on Z 30,674 and Y 34,705mm btw, i have something new truckaxle von efferman auf Flickr edit: an different rapid prototype service want for the lighter parts (same options including tax) 45€ edit² have ordered two of the following part planethub2 von efferman auf Flickr
  17. unfortunately the standard turntable piece fits not in the 8110 rim
  18. is the medium grey the grey from the frames? weavil, why six motors?
  19. alasdair, i have made them less heavy, can you ask the price too? https://www.dropbox....ckhubleicht.zip truckhub von efferman auf Flickr
  20. no one knows how this years flagship looks, maybe it looks better than mine
  21. ok here they are in stl https://www.dropbox.com/s/m6bcxp1cqkq4b92/inventor%20%282%29.zip
  22. here are the files https://www.dropbox....1s/inventor.zip edit: will the price will sink when i save material or is the complexity of the part the reason for the high price?
  23. they have two methods for plastics. Fused Deposition Modeling (material ABS) has a layer thicknes of 0,25mm and so this is not suitable for round things. the prices are for Selective Lasersintern (sls with PA as material) the dealer has this choosed for my parts
