Looks pretty cool Izmael10. Your post would really benefit from a picture. Unfortunately all your pictures are way over the size limit to be posted on the EB forum. Check out the tutorials here on how to re size images and post them here on EB. Click me for the tutorials section.

This picture is too big for the forum Giorgos! I re sized it for you. In the future keep images to a max of 800 x 600. As for the MOC, great looking landscape. Really nice.

Heh- very nice banners! Well, the red ones at least. The blue ones kinda suck.

A decent suggestion, but any specific trade offer must be in buy sell trade forum. -

Did you say please? -
I am not sure if that is the exact place I first saw it or not, but it could have been, no doubt, You are right, the half Technic pins don't work work perfetly. The 3/4 pins would probably be better. I certainly don't have a ton of them, but maybe I can scrape enough of them up to use them instead.

Okay- If you manage to get your hands on an elf poly, this is what to expect. Let's preappologize for the bad camera phone pics, but it was the fastest way to get these up for you! The parts: None of the non-minifigure parts are spectacular, but there are two reddish brown arches, a mushroom top and a large dark green leaf. I am also a fan of dark orage, so any dark orange parts are nice, even if there are only two of them. The set assembled: Looks pretty solid. The dark green translucent goblet is pretty slick. I doubt anyone will be keeping the set together, and it is sure to be parted out as soon as possible. So that's it. Thanks for looking... Oh wait... I think I know what you REALLY picked this set up for... the figure! The assembled figure from the front: The figure does have back printing AND an alternate face expression! Here it comes: camera phone washes the image out a bit, but it is the ol' angry face. And here is this elf compared to the LotR Legolas: The face is a bit different from Legolas's but I believe it is identical to the barrell escape elf as seen here: It appears the torso and the legs are exactly the same as well. Still, its a great general purpose torso and it is a nice olive green color. So let's play around and make the "ultimate" elf with a cape and rolling with the reddish brown hood. And the green hood on an Avalonian archer: Overall the figure is pretty solid and the poly makes for a good parts pack. If you can snag a few, I think it is probably worth the 5 bucks TRU is charging, especially if you can get some holiday discounts that would bring the price down a little closer to the 4 bucks it would probably cost at Target or Walmart. As a side note, seemed like these didn't seem to ring up perfectly well at TRU, but the helpful clerk overrode whatever issue there was with the polys... all 12 of them of picked up. Happy hunting. Also, a video review is up in the LotR thread. Go check it out here. -

I just got back from TRU and I have total Elf victory. -
I see both sides of the argument here. It is good to be able to find what you are looking for, however, we don't really want to "legitimize" non-LEGO brand threads as this is a LEGO community site. My feeling is they are simply off-topic and don't deserve any special treatment.

I ordered some yesterday. We'll see if they show up! -
Well I thought we were having dinner by the Mall, but we weren't. I was also expecting some LEGO gift cards which didn't happen. This means I totally will be going this Friday for Black Friday. We'll see what I can dig up.

This should be in the pirates forum. I moved it! This should be in the MOC forum though... pirate reg or MOD, please move it there. Sorry. My first MOVE and I messed it up.

Excellent. The dark tan mixed with the bluish gray is divine. I also love the detail level. It is ornate but still doesn't look busy. I am interested to know where this story will go.

Yeah. A lot of those pieces aren't available in those colors though, right? Seems like Lego should take notes and get us these parts in these new colors! bluish gray skeleton pieces would be awesome!

Review: 79001 Escape from Mirkwood Spiders
ZCerberus replied to Big Cam's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
The minilegs rock. Good review Cam. Why can't the history regulator get free sets? I will certainly get this set for the figures and for the dark red leaves. I am thinking Wargs will be my fav.- 77 replies

Technic bricks will work instead of beams as well. I went with the beams since I would typically use them less in other builds and they aren't as sleek. Try that out instead!

Yes, well let's not bite the hand that feeds to hard. At least he was nice enough to give the review. I am very excited for the Unexpected gathering set. As you can see here, it is very, very nice.

Yes, dG, I meant the leaders are behind in scoring freebuilds. Avalonia is a head in gold right now, but that doesn't mean we should take our foot off the gas!!
