It's too late!! We're all doomed because LEGO is cancelling BIONICLE!!! NOOOOOO!! Oh wait, this is Pirates :). Nah, never too late. Even for DUPLO <laughs>. Personally, I got into Pirates in 2009 because of the Flagship but mostly I love Space. Pirates are great, but be prepared because the old Pirates sets are ultra-expensive on Bricklink and the new ones aren't as good. Castle goes really well with Pirates.

I'd upload LDD sets but I can't because most of the sets are missing a part or it's impossible to find.

I don't think Zombies are scary because they aren't real. Clowns are kind of scary. What's really scary: when you find that your missing a really important LEGO piece!!!!!

With me it's old sets. Right now it's Town but if I could also afford it I'd buy every Space set that has ever existed. MUST BUY, MUST BUY, gurgleeee.

I'm not an AFOL but I have a Bar Mitzvah and got tons of money. Now I want to buy tons of LEGO sets but I spent too much money and have to cut back. I'm going to sell things to earn a profit so that I can buy new LEGO but for now I'm stuck. I'm a Slave to the Brick too :). I'm aiming for a big job as an adult so I won't be it's slave, I'll be it's master buying tons of LEGO sets but still having money left over.

Ah I see! I'm making a city but right now it's puny as a third of my sets are BIONICLE.

Why do you say our names in ''?

Nice!!!!

It looks good!

I have trouble making vehicles for my super-small (sadly, I have only a few town sets. Most are starships or Adventurers)

Ah, I see.

I like it. Where do you get all of the large wall parts?

I agree with the above comment. I'm not saying that people in the United States are stupid though.
-
My favorite ship too!

I understand what you say, but the US is stupid. I live there, and there are so many sanctions about every possible thing. I don't see how it's difference if someone steps on Hard or Soft 2x4s, they still hurt. Anyone can harm themself with a LEGO part by poking themselves in the eye, it doesn't matter how hard it is. Stupid, stupid rules.

I really doubt that LEGO cannot use better plastic sometimes.

Bricklink Trusted Sellers list
BobaFett2 replied to Dragonator's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
You should add Tim's Brixx. I've bought from him a few times. Mostly large quantities of sets. He is very helpful about missing parts and always mails them when there are some (this is not very often). -
How do you find out your member number? Member number on Eurobricks?
-
I've got a few questions: Why do you sacrifice the integrity of your parts when it is the exact opposite of your founder's motto?????? Other questions: Many weapons have horrible quality. I really hate this. They fray slightly with each time you put this into the minifigure's hand. It was understandable with the Aquazone Knives that some of the silver would come off, but the new plastic ones are horrible in this aspect. You can't use them more than 4 times and still have them appear to be near mint. Why do you use cheaper plastic? Sometimes design is bad, why is this?
-
Yeah, I agree entirely. I do not order online for these reasons. In fact, Bricklink is better for ordering many sets in mint condition if you are willing to pay more money. They take a day with each order once you pay, while TLG takes a lot longer. I also have noticed other problems involved with shipping and boxing. Often instructions come with damage (I was very dissapointed that my Imperial Flagship had damaged instructions when I opened the box). The boxes aren't always in great condition either.

So many parts nowadays are bad quality. I have found that parts do not always fit into the set correctly. Many of the new weapons (and here are some examples) shed plastic when trying to insert them into the Minifigure's hand: * Battle Axe from PoP * Knife (10210 Imperial Flagship) * Beast Fang/Claw (Also used in 10210 Imperial Flagship) * New Cutlass (Again Imperial Flagship) * Longbows (While these are not new and I have none of the new kind, they are extremely bad quality. The "grip" area "frays" after being inserted into a minifigure's grip a few times) * Atlantis Trident: Slightly Better, but the handle is slightly too big. It feels stronger than the Knife, but it seems like it is getting scratchy from being held. These cheap plastic pieces are worse than annoying. They are obnoxious. While they are cheaper for TLG to produce, we fans of LEGO can easily see the brand-new LEGO Weapons turn from Mint Condition to old and bad within a few days of use. They cost money to replace (while not a lot, it's still money). It's not fun seeing LEGO parts which are just plain bad. That's what separates TLG from Rip Off brands such as MEGA BLOKs and Invincibility Robots (Argentinian BIONICLE Rip Off). They don't even try to produce their parts in such a way that they fit together. Many of their parts break easily or fit together so badly that you won't want to buy another ever again in your lifetime. If TLG keeps moving in that direction with cheap Chinese production, it is going to end up like them. It may still be popular, but if a company is willing to sacrifice some of it's most important parts (the weapons are very useful and probably the most attractive feature to many kids) then it could just as easily lose quality in other areas for profit. This shouldn't happen. Ever. That's why it's LEGO, and is supposed to live up to "Only the Best", Ole Kirk Christiansen's Motto.

Out of the ones on this page, I'd have to agree with the Ice Planet 2002 Ship. However, my favorite is the Mission Commander (The big ship from SPI). The colors rock, it has a bunch of great corner parts, and even though it only have 3 minifigures, they are old and the ship's workings make up for it.

I don't get it. I understand most of the instructions, but what are decal setting solution and decal softening solution?

Thank you!
