Welcome Victor! Glad you rediscovered Lego - it's quite a hobby. Hope to see you around see some of your creations!

The Western sets were some of my favorites; between my brothers and I, we collected most of them. Fort Legorado was definitely a favorite. The exploding walls that Lego introduced with these sets was quite a novelty at the time. I wouldn't mind seeing a renewed western them with the same quality that the first round had back in the day. Thanks for the post and for sorting out those Western MOCs... I hadn't seen any of those and they were definitely worthy of being displayed.

I lika dis berry much. Haha Lego just came out with one, but I doubt it has an interior like this, and I know it lacks the exit ramp. I like the studs too... it is Lego after all. We should start a movement for more studs on creations! Nice job.

Haha laughed out loud for this one! might steal that turret design...

I saw pictures of this guy even before I found Eurobricks it's a pretty famous piece! Seeing it now in more detail, I've even more impressed. Some of use have different ideas about what the order of the winners should have been... , although that would have been a really difficult contest to judge with all those entries. Vastly impressed!

That's quite a ship! I too am a little skeptical of some of colors, particularly the white railings and the occasional blue part here and there, but there is really a lot of detail I haven't seen in many MOC ships. I like the way you built the rails, by the way, just maybe not the white. Is there an interior to the ship?

[MOC] Separatist Outpost 204 - Infiltration
Blackicep8ntball replied to Davor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Impressive build! Is this based on a real Star Wars scene or something of your own inspiration? PS. I too would be interested in a glow-in-the-dark picture! -
Good to have you. I never bought many of the M-Tron sets back in the day, and I wish I had more. Do you do many MOCs?

I'm Leaving! I'm Coming Back! Do it all HERE.

Well good to meet you. I'm new around here, but it will be good to get to know ya. Your MOCs are pretty cool.. looks like you like to go big! Welcome back! -
Not sure how you guys accomplish these transforming MOCs... I'm very impressed. That really ratchets up the skill level to accomplish such things.

Thanks for making the announcement on the front page. I don't do a lot of town stuff, but some of this rocks. Particularly that bus stop.
-
This one's back to more of what I like nice choice of expressions on the main character

Hey again Ancient, I'm not following this vig... is it perhaps representing the city skyline he's thinking about?
-
Very creative scene, and appropriately creepy. If organic stuff isn't you're strong point and yet you did the plants that well... I think you must be fibbing . You clearly put time into this one!

This is definitely a solids start. The rock ledge is well done - a lot of people put too many angles to try to make a "craggy" look, but most ocean cliffs I've seen look more like the ones you have created here. Well done on the boat house too. Excited to see the rest, hopefully it's still in production!

I'm finding all sorts of cool things today . Beautiful dark Gotham style MOC! Those gargoyles are particularly creative. Perhaps I overlooked something, but is there a staircase or other means of getting from the bank's main floor to the thug's table on the second level? Nice vehicles too btw

[MOC] Mini Nu-class Assault Shuttle
Blackicep8ntball replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
WOW! I was just saying that I'm not into minis on another post, and yet here's another sick mini. Nice photo of it too btw. It's amazing how you turned what could look like a blocky cockpit area into somehow blending and looking nice. Props! -
While I'm not usually into "minis", this one is intriguing! I really like how you played out the color scheme. Where is that inverted red slope part on the top wing from?

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display
Blackicep8ntball replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well, I don't know if this is quite the display I'd put together for a professional picture, this is a shot I took of my SW sets for a kid I sent a set to a while back. This Brickshelf gallery has some more pics of each smaller collection -
[MOC] "Let the Wookiee win!"
Blackicep8ntball replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Wow great little vig! Never thought of using a Wookie in quite that way and the arrow pouch on the waist, as others have mentioned, is rather ingenious. May I ask what inspired you to put this together? -
My first set, from 1992, was 6258 Smuggler's Shangy . I need to try rebuilding that thing - as far as I know, I still have all the parts and the instructions!
-
Nice work! I haven't seen a Chinese restaurant out of Lego parts before. It definitely carries an Oriental flavor with it, and I particularly like the more rounded roof - you don't see that in a lot of MOCs, or even TLG sets! The sign with the Chinese character is cool too.

Jared, while the whole store is an amazing build, I really have to hand it to you on the Burberry pattern. As soon as I read the title of your post, before even seeing the pics, I wondered how you would do the famous Burberry plaid, and you just nailed it with the tile/carpet pattern. How long did that take to work out?

Haha wow Selander - I rarely find MOCs quite this cool and unique. That's just a cool looking truck! We don't have a lot of milk tankers down where I am, but I remember seeing a whole lot more when we visited Wisconsin. Don't think we had Arla though , and American trucks just don't usually have the same neat look that European trucks do; or maybe I'm just used to American vehicles more . Great detail in that back door too. If you don't mind me asking, what set are the truck's wheels from?

Yeah that's rough about the AT-AT - If you want though, just quietly send it my way and I could dispose of it for you . No really though, that's quite a thoughtful gift. My wife, like yours, has a slightly different view of Lego than I generally do, but at least its a safe hobby to have. Welcome to the forums and hopefully we'll see some of your first MOCs as you get back into the good old world of Lego!
