I think it's a pretty cool shape for just a "table scrap" as you say. Not bad looking at all.

You're stuff never disappoints, and this square is one of my favorites. I would die to see this in person - it just looks huge and like there's so much I'm missing out on with just pictures. Sick MOC!

I gotta wonder about the underwater smokestack too haha but I suppose with the right type of valve system it could work. Steampunk Atlantis is just a really cool concept generally; hope to see some more stuff from you! Nice MOC

I don't watch that much Futurama, and I'm still blown away. The mosaic lettering with Bender is particularly incredible.

Wow man I'm glad I found these MOCs. I particularly like the stagecoach. The whole thing is nostalgic... I've got almost all the old western sets from the 90s. Just out of curiosity, have you ever thought about doing westerns in the new "modular" style? I definitely love the classic look you've got going, so just thought!

Haha! I really like this guy. As has been mentioned, its a pleasantly colored and clean build. Effective use of the goals!

Wow. Definitely a nerd ship, but a really cool ship too. Impressive execution, and crazy technique. Being the new guy, I have to ask about the crazy looking script... is that basic or something?

haha ok then, Nancy it is. Welcome to you as well... looks like you're new around here. -
An interesting passion, Penguin. Perhaps one of these days we'll see Batman return. He's done it in the movies, he could do it in Lego. Welcome!
-
Hmmm... I could deal with fewer stickers though. And more pieces for the price. But the actual build of the sets has improved. What are your faves from the old days, §edalia?

It is good to see another pirates fan. Hopefully we'll be seeing some more good pirate sets over the next few years; wouldn't mind seeing some sets up to the quality we used to see with the Imperial Trading Post and Eldorado Fortress. Time will tell! Welcome to Eurobricks!

Welcome! I guess us newbs should stick together I definitely enjoy the SW stuff, but you should check out the Sci Fi forum too! Some of the best builders I've seen throw their stuff in that forum. See you around! -

Yeah I'm with you on the flag issue, but it's definitely a part of life here! The summers here are nasty... we've already had several days of 100+ degrees F and insane humidity. I used to work outside in that ; now I have an office job -
Hey Iz. Looks like you and I started building Lego sets about the same time back there in the early 90s. Not a bad era to have started! Anyway, I'm new too, so I thought I'd say hey and welcome

Hello! I too am new around here, and figured I'd say hey. Look forward to seeing your stuff! Not gonnna lie... wish we got some of the new sets as quickly as you guys overseas do

I agree, and what's more, the audience really doubles as both the movies audience and also as the audience that watched the medal ceremony (obviously there weren't any stormies, etc. at that ceremony, but just generally, it gives that feeling). I'm incredibly impressed with both your skill and your presentation. What I especially like is how you used the black pieces and the curved parts to give the impression of a real "vignette" with the camera lens focusing inward on the center of the scene Cheers!

Hello Eurobricks! I came out of my dark ages about a year ago, having found several boxes of the Lego pieces my brothers and I collected since the early 90s. My first set was the Castle 3-pack back in 1993 (hence the ghost figure as my avatar). I hope to contribute more MOCs to the community as time goes on. In the meanwhile, I do have a few pictures up at MOCpages and Flickr. I'm always hoping to become a better builder and I gladly welcome your comments. Glad to be here and I'll see everyone around! PS. Is there a Eurobricks "contest" page?

Two pictures with some photoshop :-)

Definitely granted. The new sticks are quite a step up; unfortunately that A-wing is an example of how the old paper junk still got into a newer set. And I could survive a little better if they wouldn't go so far as to use sticks even on the control panels; that just seems a little cheap but oh well.

I've got tons of the older SW sets, but like several of you, I missed a lot of the sets between 2003-2008. Unfortunately, I think many of those were the best SW sets. Many of the new sets have a great sleek look, and I definitely like the fleshies. However, I do find the stickers as a huge downside; they're hard to put on perfectly, often stick out (case in point, Republic emblems on the A-wing from the Mon Calamari Cruiser), and if you want to take them off, the stickers don't really go on again .

Classic Space is back up and running! -
I like the story as it's progressing, but this vig is really busy. Maybe a different camera angle would capture the action better? Another suggestion: maybe post the earlier vigs along with each new one you put up as the story progresses, or at least the immediately preceding one. Helps people see what's going on without having to dig through the forum. Overall, nicely done so far! I too like the way you did the hand.

You know, I'm not sure. I sorta doubt it's officially affiliated. I know a lot of the moderators and users use this site too though, so I thought this might be a good forum to see if I was the only one. -
Hey all, welcome to my first MOC! This is a build I put together for a contest over at Classic-space.com. It's a space-transport craft with a mobile science lab for delivery on a new planet. Check it out, let me know what you think: I'm planning on improving the whole thing once the contest is over. Feel free to check out the rest of the pics at: FlickrThanks!
