  1. So I decided to post the first chapter here, its more of an prologue that sets the stage for the first eight or nine chapters. CHAPTER 1 STRANGE NEW WORLD In the middle of what was once America, an individual lay face down in ash, thought dead at one time, but actually alive. Around him lay a silent, gray world. A world devoid of life, of color, and of sound. The individual lay deep in his consciousness, not even dreaming, the kind of sleep were you don’t remember anything when you wake up, but he was slowly coming to awareness. Miles away, a being flew through the air, he felt panic in his heart as he vanished into the ash, he had a sensitive respiratory system, and he didn’t know if he could die by inhaling the ash. He didn’t die immediately, but the ash constricted his lungs and air sacs, making it harder to breathe, he had to land and rest for a moment, he knew who he was seeking, and he knew he was close, but so were the Farlanders, they were on his tail, and he was desperate. He knew the ash cloud would cover him, but he wasn’t taking any chances. He took off again, flying as hard and as fast as he could. He knew who he was seeking.
  2. I am! In fact, I have a storyline shaped for two unrelated trilogy's and multiple shorts. I am working on the first book for the first trilogy. Named SURVIVAL (I'm still thinking about the name.) It follows the story of one man and a hyperintelligent Hyacinth Macaw in the aftermath of World War 3. (The Event or the Apocalypse.) I really want the story to be mysterious, so I'm only going to name the factions. The CELL, Farlanders, and infected. All are at war with each other. I will send the first two chapters to anyone who asks. The second trilogy follows a Space Police Commando named Jack,(Anyone remember 2010?) against the black hole gang, alien invaders, and the final enemy: Blacktron. A post-war standalone novel may appear, named ENDGAME. I would like constructive criticism on SURVIVAL, so please, go ahead and ask!
  3. WOW. Season four seems way out there, it just seems that Lego wouldn't do that, I mean, a pregnancy? That seems far too outlandish to consider.
  4. My thoughts on the latest episode: The serpentine bus fight was amazing! I would love to build that, but am out of lime green. It was neat to see Pythor use his ability's again,am I the only one who was amazed to see Pythor scared? I also really think that Nya, while sort of a background character, had excellent and funny lines, and hearing her say that she was trying to duck, that had me on the floor! On the subject of the devourer, I thought it was in the statue too, but, true to the episodes name, it came out in a very surprising manner.
  5. Not sure if it counts as an easter egg but the snake staffs in ninjago have the Omega symbol on the back of them, near the top.
  6. Has anyone noticed the symbol on the back of the staffs? Its the Greek symbol for Omega, which is the last letter in the Greek alphabet and has a value of 800. PS its on the back of the cobras head.
  7. is fighting the Maelstorm

  8. Well, I recounted it twice in the morning after I woke up, and I have had dreams of sets that have NOT appeared. Like a $500 explorer set, it was a big Aztec pyramid and had about 50 minifigs, (Mostly warriors.) a new elephant mold, and Johny thunder. the same time with the magma mech, there was a lot of stuff I would've loved, like a big two inch rubber crystal, and an APC style vehicle driven by monsters.
  9. Once or twice, the first time I had this dream involving a power miner set, it ran on a single tread, and had a extending gripper arm and a water drill. The next morning I got on Eurobricks, a picture that matched the upper body of my dream appeared, with legs. It was known as the magma mech. The next time was a dream, yellow and red vehicles and Dino's. oddly, the next day the rumors of Dino appeared. I don't know why, but the last dream recently, was a space one, Miners with a yellow and purple color scheme fighting cyborg alien blacktron things. I only saw one set, the small one, the miner had a small speeder, reminiscent of the classic space ones. and the miner, he was yellow with purple arms. Am I predicting things?
  10. A wal-Mart in the southwest, I can't remember the exact town, as I was focused on getting to where I needed. I bought six,and no good figs came up, and as for hoarding all the minifigs, there was at least two or three hundred.
  11. Sometime at the end of this year, I'm excited about the game majorly.
  12. Series 5 minifigs for .50 cents each, and a draida for $7.50.
  13. OK, new observations: The relic seems to be a golden telescope with a red horn. The king is in the dungeon, he appears to be orange, maybe. (Is this the first NPC?) The zombie/mutated frogs/merman/things look interesting. There are no treasure chests, maybe the brown blockade things could be the chests? The wizard is in the set, maybe the others went to seldaan (ranger) Barresh (barbarian) Drandora (rouge) Elsruck (Knight) and the wizard went to Ilrion? This set is confusing.
  14. Is THAT Ilrion in the top left corner? Is there any pictures of that yet?
  15. UPDATE: I now own 611 Minifigs, and I never envisioned spending more than $5000 dollars on LEGO.
  16. This is an exceptional Heroica MOC! My only complaint is the amount of 'boss' monsters, there is just too many all over the board. I also have a question: Does the top come off, so you have an inside dungeon?
  17. How much were all those? And a new project sounds fun. If you want, I'll PM oyu some modified rules, they still rely on luck, but I find that they are extremely satisfying.
  18. I very rarely see homemade Heroica boards, but this, this is excellent! I really like the goblin kings throne!
  19. I have studied most of the Heroica page, and if you look at the top of the map on the fortaan comic, there is a pair of evil eyes. Also, mentioned in the goblin kings profile, and the werewolves, is a place known as The Rift. I think The Rift could be an exclusive. (Can we dream of a fifty dollar mega set?) I also think that the tower and the gate symbolize two places: the tower is drandora, and the gate is the gates of elsruck. I think the relic of drandora is... a golden pitchfork? or trident? PS Ganrash is how you go from draida to drandora, its curved, and if you think of it, it would work quite well!
  20. Its been a while since I updated my collection, but I now own 604 minifigures, but those aren't impressive compared to what I've spent, I never imaged that I would spend more than $5000 dollars on Lego!
  21. Same here, I really think Walmart went overkill in my area, I mean, is thirteen boxes not enough? On the other hand I picked some fantastic deals, they had all the 2011 spinner on sale for $3.40! I managed to pick up Garmadon, Zane, and Wu.
  22. Here are my observations on ilrion: on the top there are five symbols, Ilrion is in the middle, this could mean that there are two larger sets, or that Ilrion is simply the third one, the two larger set theory is reinforced because it is the twenty dollar box size. MICROFIGURES The player limit says 3, with two of the heroes being that white mage, and a UNCONFIRMED orange player, the cleric is the last one, and the enemies appear to be sand green. There is a dark-metallic goblin general-styled figure on the side of the box. The cleric appears to be cursing at the boss, a one eyed bat, close to the bats lair is another bat. AND on the heroica Ilrion page, there is a bat statue. Coincidence? I THINK NOT! ENVIRONMENT The board is blue and dark-grey, with a broken bridge, dungeon, waterfall, and boss chamber. There is various wheels hinting that they probably have plumbing to control the fields, and that the hostiles overloaded them. A glowing yellow thing can be seen near the dice, which appears to have changed. There also appears to be some sort of obstacle. CONCLUSION Ilrion seems like a solid add-on to the original four sets, new enemies, a possible boss, and a smorgasbord of new and valuable parts.
  23. Ganrash looks like a clever way to get from draida to drandora port, seeing how its curved.
  24. Not gonna happen. aside from city, TLG's primary sales come from conflict based themes, because that's what sells. I would like to see a theme that involves heavily armed explorers (calling them colonial marines would be a stretch.) meeting an alien remake of blacktron. I could see this as working because Lego avoids human on human wars nowadays. I am so sorry, blacktron fans, but thats the truth, blacktron won't return unless their aliens.
  25. I am going to reveal only my Lego gifts. I received 7066 earth defense HQ, 7052 UFO abduction, 3859 caverns of nathuz, and 3860 castle fortaan.
