Eh, it was Brigit who was late this morning - not Bristol. Anyway, I agree that something needs to be done. I'm not particularly fond of lynching Bristol at the moment. I don't have much of an opinion on whether Bristol is on our side or not, however at the end of yesterday she gave her thoughts about people (How accurate those thoughts were doesn't matter). That means that if there's no reason to suspect her beyond a gut feeling -which I don't really share- then I feel there are better people to convict. I do feel one of the bandwagoners against Edgar is scum, so I will be voting one of them. Out of the people I called out yesterday, Gabby has been the least active and least helpful in finding the scum. Furthermore he only appears to speak up to defend himself and doesn't really comment on events beyond that. I am aware that this may just be the way he lives life, however of the group I mentioned he is the most inactive and so he is preferable to no conviction at all. That's assuming the worst case scenario that he's just one of us, which I don't think is true. Vote: Gabby Goat / Ricecracker That said, as with Gilbert I too will vote Bristol if it is necessary to gain a majority.

Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Eleven
Lord Arjay replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I would like to see if there is anything written on the pieces of paper. If so, then I shall read it out. I'd then like to see if the revolver is loaded. -
Well, so much for night actions. Unless someone counters Lauren, then I will assume she's telling the truth. Which is a shame as that means another useful power has been exposed. Brigit seemed like she was trying to be helpful however, so I feel she is trustworthy as well. Horace's claim about being attacked is believable and while I can see a possible scum motivation, I feel that it would be too much of a bold move for one of the demon legion to make. As well as Wendell, I would not have called Felix helpful over some of the people on that list. I don't suppose you have any opinions on what you've observed?

Oh dear. It is very sad that one of us has died, poor Booker - he did not deserve such a cruel fate. The method of killing does suggest that the killer is not friendly and from previous info, I'd agree that the Arsonist is most likely a neutral. As others have said, with the threat of a random death and added scum powers the best course of action is clearly to convict someone today. I have a couple of people in mind, though I will wait and see if anything reveals itself before the time for voting arrives. I don't particularly care for the discussion about possible shenanigans surrounding Edgar last night. Any number of things could have happened and without a way of knowing for sure, I don't see how speculating about it is very useful. Finally, I do wonder whether Lazlo will have something to say today.
-
These two statements don't go together. I would have thought that if the scum would not vote late in order to avoid suspicion then they'd also try to be more active, for the same reason. As you said, would scum be that obvious? Besides, it's not just the late votes that I find suspicious, if you had voted late on a wagon which had been discussed over the course of the day then I wouldn't find it odd at all. Anyway, I disagree with voting out either Helen or Edgar at this point and I won't be around for any sudden revelations that could appear later on in the day, so I shall not be voting. This has certainly been a more useful first day than I would have expected, so at least we aren't going into tomorrow with absolutely nothing to go on.
-
So you didn't find anything odd about the eight votes that had already been placed on Edgar in such a short time?
-
Of course. The latter end of the bandwagon looks more suspicious to me, as that caused Edgar to be put very close to conviction despite how early in the day it was. Specifically, the group of Kenda, Bristol, Gabby and Bruno. Gilbert unvoted before most people had expressed suspicion at the speed of the badwagon, so his vote is slightly less suspicious. Benji didn't vote straight away, so at least he thought a bit before jumping straight onto the bandwagon (I suppose this could also be interpreted as him waiting for more votes to go on so that he could be sure Edgar would be lynched, though I don't feel that was his motive). As well as that, Kenda, Bristol, Gabby and Bruno all suggested that they felt Edgar was the only conviction possible at that point, so they felt it best to simply follow the crowd and did not feel at all suspicious about the amount of votes Edgar had gained (admittedly, this doesn't apply to Kenda as much as the others). There are probably others guilty of the same thing, though these four are the people I'm currently looking at.
-
True, though what I was meaning to say was that all she did was reveal her own thoughts on who was most likely scum and then voted accordingly. She didn't then continue to tell people to vote for Edgar beyond her original statement, it was others who decided they didn't need more discussion and voted with her, creating the bandwagon. This is a good point and I do not disagree with you questioning her. That said, I do not think she should be convicted today when there are others who are more at fault.
-
I am suprised at how little time it took for Edgar to be brought so close to a conviction. We have plenty of time left in the day, yet some of you are acting as though we must rush a conviction right now. It's bizarre how little discussion there was. I'd be appreciative if I was given the chance to comment on things before the day is over and I'm sure others would be aswell. Though Edgar doesn't have much of a defence, the quick bandwagon against him does make me doubtful that he could be scum. I disagree with that. If Edgar is telling the truth then there probably is scum hiding among the bandwagon, though I'm not sure Helen can be held responsible. It doesn't look like she was actively trying to get Edgar lynched, she simply voiced a suspicion. However, you do have a point about how quickly she shifted any possible blame from herself. I'm going to look at the voting record for a while and then decide which of the votes look most suspicious.

Hello, I am Kaley. You will call me Kaley. I am the Mill Operator and as my job title suggests, I operate the mill. I agree that given our options, voting someone out is clearly the best way to go. Although it's almost impossible to think that some of us are evil. Sounds like a plan. I'll just sit down over here and wait then. ..... Has anyone slipped up yet? I can't get angry, it's too distressing. Do you have any mildly frustrated and rather upset mob supplies?

My sigfig hasn't changed since last year. Thanks for doing this!

General Discussion and Announcements

Thanks for the tag! And thanks to everyone who congratulated me, I'm flattered. Now I need to make sure I don't screw up massively in the next game I play in... that would be embarrassing. -
The Forest Mafia Sign-ups-CLOSED
Lord Arjay replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Of course I would like to play. My favourite Fabuland set is 3601. The elephant would be one of the first Fabuland figures that I would want to buy and this set also includes a yellow parasol. What is there to dislike? Definitely. You're scum. They're scum. Maybe there isn’t any scum? Their plans are very clever. Your game is going to be fun. ...I'm stumped. This test is too difficult. I will be able participate in this game and there is nothing in the near future which would make me unable to play. -
Yes, killing you was my idea. Sorry about that. Anyway, we won! Yay! It was probably obvious that I was Gojira and if it wasn't then I'm pretty sure most people found out by the end anyway. I had great fun trying to figure this game out with my fellow masons (and Rick) and I'm glad I was correct about some things. Can't say I wasn't horribly wrong about more though. I only ever managed to recruit Hinckley and iamded as Walter died before I could get to him, so my night action wasn't very useful for much apart from getting me trusted. If I was more willing to take risks then it may have been much more valuable.. or caused my death. Great job to Inky, that lie about your role was brilliant. You were definitely fighting a losing cause once Zepher was exposed (another thing I was initially wrong about) though we - or maybe just me - weren't really considering you as a suspect until the vampire thing. Thanks for hosting this JimB, I'll have more things to add later.

Vote: Igantius Conan / Inconspicous. From the lack of a pick axe killing last night, it looks as though Mr Sword Killer is the last evil we need to defeat. I can't wait for things to get back to normal.
-
Vote: Ruben Roland / Rufus Going from Gary Colemas investigations, he is scum. Hopefully by lynching him there will be one less killer in the night to worry about.
-
Again, I have been given no reason to believe that is true. Here we have a dead body, I could easily just say that I saw you shoot this man. Does that mean I am correct? No. So why are you blindly trusting Hoffman? Then surely it would be better if you focused on finding the spies among you instead of accusing the General of having lost his mind on the word of someone who has not yet provided any basis for their accusation. So how much further has this information got you? In case you have forgotten, your "group" is under suspicion and there are communists among you. I have no idea how you could possibly think the Congressman telling the potential spies about goverment secrets could be considered helpful.
-
Well that is a bit silly. I'm not on anyones side, nor do I think this apparent paranioa you have about the military is very beneficial. If you feel that you don't trust me and want to give the gun to your own police force (because the police of this town can clearly be trusted ) then I suppose that would be acceptable. However, I simply cannot allow a civilian to be given it - whether the gun is loaded or not. I'm not denying it's possible, I'm saying that I have no reason to believe that he has besides the claim of Director Hoffman. I shall stand by my superior until you can prove to me otherwise. I dislike plenty of people, doesn't make them dangerous. It was a regrettable decision I'm sure. The congressman brought it entirely upon himself though, blabbing about goverment secrets like that. ....... Clearly this person is responsible enough to be given the use of a firearm.
-
Me, this shouldn't really be a matter up for discussion. Once everyone has finished inspecting it, I shall take the gun and hold on to it. I hope no one objects? How do you suggest we would do that? As for these accusations against the General, well they are just ridiculous. There's no reason to believe them and while I do admit he has a shorter fuse than usual I'd hardly call him mad.
-
So? You can't know what our God is going to do or what he isn't going to do. Just repeatedly ignoring a possibility because "it doesn't make any sense" despite the fact that it could potentially have happened (and has happened before) is ridiculous. Oh, my mistake. A meltdown is obviously much more helpful than a theory. How doesn't it make sense? Also, someone was seen bringing Beatrice back from the dead. I don't for one minute believe that someone completely unrelated to our current situation just wondered into the mansion, revived Beatrice and then left again. It's highly likely one of us brought her back (whether this was something that they could choose to do or not doesn't matter) and in doing so brought her back allied to the werewolves.
-
If Zed was god, I have a feeling he would allow that.... That's pretty hypocritical coming from you. Especially considering some of the ridiculous theories you've been spouting recently - or have you forgotten your crazy, back-flipping opera antics yesterday? Brilliant plan, let's just cry and hope that God will fix everything for us. I agree we have no choice but to vote one killer out and hope for the best, though we should at least attempt to find out the others identity.
-
Shit. Harriet, Beatrice was apparently allied with the werewolf faction which would suggest there is still a werewolf left. This puts Person One as a prime suspect as the original reasons for believing their claim (that there was only one werewolf) no longer apply. Do you still trust them? We need to get him killed aswell then.
-
Vote: Beatrice / Badboytje As has been stated, she clearly no longer has good intentions.
-
Is this a conclusion you reached after talking with Beatrice or is it just you guessing? By my count, two people can possibly be the double voter (William and Samuel) though it is true that he has been avoiding discussion. Very similar to Quinn.. I can't understand what the details of your arguement with Charles are, though I do understand that you are accusing him of being a sword killer. Doesn't that go against what you have said earlier?: This was on day three. Has something changed which caused you to no longer be of that opinion?
