Another stunning piece of art AC. When looking at the other pics I must say that the back is brilliantly done.

[KEY TOPIC] Eurobricks MOC LXF Index
KimT replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Wow, this really is a great index. -
The pressure on the Star Wars Forum rises every day. The 2011 Picture & Rumor Topic has had more than 650000 views already, the MOCs are pouring in and as so are the reviews. So in order to keep up with the amount of topics, getting them indexed and having a general overview of the forum, we've asked KielDaMan to join us as Star Wars Forum Regulator. Welcome KielDaMan - great to have you onboard!

This belongs in the BSTF Forum. I'll move it there.

Nice one Rufus. Where did you post this on flickr? I can't find it in your flickr stream.

C'mon guys slow down. Have anyone heard that TLG will be putting promo figs and sets in other sets in 2011? Nope, I didn't think so. We've had the Chrome C3P0 and chrome Darth Vader packed with sets previously. I'm sure we'd know if they did something like that again.

KimT replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
As a collector I never sacrifice a set to build a MOC. I'd rather buy parts on BL instead. I try to keep all my sets sealed in zip-lock bags for the day when I can put them all on display. Sadly I have to reconstruct my sets from 1999 to 2005, as they ended up with my regular parts. -

Since this has been answered, I'll move it into the General Questions topic in a day or so. -
Do only bigshots make the front page?
KimT replied to Gregorovich's topic in Forum Information and Help
I do believe the general idea is to frontpage news and good MOCs. There's is no favoring of anyone when it comes to that. If it strikes you as such - then you are mistaken or we're not doing our job well enough It's all about how often and how much time the different moderators spend here. We all have our ups and downs when it comes to on-line time and thus we don't frontpage an equal amount of topics. The Town (and Train) moderators are doing a great job frontpaging stuff - I'll agree to that. As for Star Wars (as an example) we've started our own blog like Classic-Pirates where we "frontpage" as much Star Wars LEGO stuff we can. I'll keep in mind to remember the "unknown" members in the future - eventhough I don't think I forget them at all. Here's the 2010 Frontpage topic that has the frontpages I did in 2010. -
Normally I'd have your head for such a comment, but this is really a jawdropping MOC and I totally agree with you

Clone O'Patra why aren't those photos part of the LEGO Star Wars Photography Pool?

This is absolutely amazing Rook. Thanks for posting it here - I saw and blogged it earlier through flickr. How do you find the time to do these MOCs? Plus how the heck do you find the inspiration? I always scrap my spaceships and vehicles long before they even resemble something. Perhaps I'm better off doing dioramas...

Nice J4ke. I saw it on flickr and I hoped you'd be flashing it here as well. It's so cute, you almost want to give it a hug Though I guess that would be kinda inappropriate? blogged
