I do agree that the Viking Theme dragons are pretty cool. - Perhaps they even are the most "LEGO-like" dragons made in a long time. But...but....but....Thinking about the fact that LEGO is made for fun and play makes the Viking dragons hit rock buttom. They're somewhat swooshable in the hands of an AFOL, but not in the hands of a kid. - That leaves us with the new Castle theme dragons and the ones in this poll named Classic Dragons. I actually think that both are pretty cool. I love the design and colours of the new dragons, but ultimately I had to go with the Classic version. It's....simple and has that LEGO look and feel to it. CLASSIC ALL THE WAY. *wub* VIKINGS KISS MY .... :-P KimT

No no no.... Not the end of April. This year I skipped the Family trip and that is not something looked upon with too much understanding. So if I have a say in this, I'd love for the Event to be no sooner than May. Otherwise I might not be able to come....and I'm pretty sure I'll be needed to mock Yoda and the rest of the Belgian-French crew :-P :-P KimT

What's not to like about the new castle theme? The figs look like something "real" as opposed to the darn KK theme. (purple knights :-X ) I think it's a really cool theme and I've already purchased the entire theme and even triplicates of several boxes. Building the castle reminds me of the ol' classic castle theme and with a few minor MODs, it'll be exactly just that. Pros: EVERYTHING Cons: None whatsoever. - Even the dragons are cool (remember this is primarily a kids toy). Their sturdiness allows for great play and swooshing. :-P KimT

Here's my 5 cents on this topic. It's a fake and even if the box images promise You a box full of LEGO like bricks IT'S A LIE! I've bought a Chinese copy set containing what was to be Forrestmen. The box had images and they looked 99% like the REAL DEAL. When I opened the box the bricks were badly molded and had various versions of colours. For example the yellow bricks were not the same yellow :-X Actually I think they use REAL DEAL LEGO for the box design (the LEGO mark is later removed digitally) thus luring us into buying those crappy sets. Save Your money - Don't buy pirated LEGO products. BTW I couldn't get rid of mine, I even tried to give it away - so I had to throw it into the garbage. Stay cool - buy the REAL high! :-D KimT

It sounds like a great idea. Using this forum to create small events in the different regions of Europe, that is. Though it'll never replace the EB Event. Perhaps one could even negotiate a real good bargain with a local LEGO store. "Hey Mister! I'm having a LEGO get-down with a bunch if lunatic friends - we come here and spend BIG money - what offers can You give us?" Negotiator ON! That's typical. The question is "what to expect?" and the first thing that (apparently) pops into everyone's mind is: KIDS. Sure there'll be loads of kids - it's a LEGO universe. But why not focus on all the good things that'll be there? I simply can't understand why You guys start out with a pessimistic view *n* *n* IMHO the LEGO universe is going to be a great place with a sorts of entertainment. Building and vehicle construction -- and TESTING. Perhaps as indicated in the trailer there'll even be as sort of RPG zone where one can fight skeletons and EVIL pirates (yes EVIL :-P ). I for one am waiting for this to hit cyberspace with great anticipation. SO PLS STOP YOUR USELESS AND SOMEWHAT PATHETIC FLAMING OF THE INTENDED BUYERS/PLAYERS - YES THE KIDS AGED 7-11. KimT
