Oh...my bad. I'd still prefer them (TLG) to add the printed legs. They have added other printed legs in this set and leaving out this one is just not right IMHO. As for the brick count not being on the box, could be because it's a European box and they don't have that printed on them. The prices are NOT validated and therefore they must be considered guessing for now. KimT

Don't You guys read the thread? Who cares if You saved the pics and where. Post only when You've got something reasonable to say. Is it really so hard? KimT

This is what we think we know so far 10188 Death Star Release date: September Price: 399 USD / 274.99 GBP Minifigs: 24 Pieces: 3803 KimT
-
This is exactly why I reposted the pics in a new thread. The thread is meant as a place to discuss the new set and the pics. Please refrain from useless sms-text and l33t language - we´ve had plenty of that in theoriginal thread KimT
-
We've got the clearance to repost these: Enjoy and discussion reactivated KimT[thanks to svelte_corps for the pics]

So far we've discussed: 1. the price 399USD estimate 2. the brick count 3803 3. the minifigs (24...yes..24) and how little people can afford this set. Further discussion is futile until the pics are back again. KimT

Nevertheless TLG kindly asked us to remove the pics and so we did. Wether FBTB will remove their pics or not, hasn't got anything to do with how or what we do here on EB. Pics are gone and they'll stay so for now. KimT

Okay people. I know You're exited about this set, but let's discuss it and refrain from posting like this was a chat. Stay cool and stay on target! Or else there'll be......trouble KimT

Happy B-Day Chewie. Aren't You lucky it's the same as when the DS pics hit EB. Enjoy it - it'll be a full year until next time. KimT

Simple, yet very effective. I like the comic-feeling that the x's bring. Nice work KimT[brains...brains....braaaaaaiiiins]

Pretty sure these are the final pics and how the set is. S@H pics. No matter, one of the customizers out there will make us a great helmet within long Perhaps even Dark Helmet's helmet. KimT
-
I agree. Using the rebel helmet in black would have made a great Death Star Trooper. It puzzles me how LEGO decided to go with the AT-ST driver helmet instead. It's still a great set and I'm definately getting it. (along with all the other SW sets ) KimT

Actually I'm not so impressed when thinking it over. First of all, in a set this price I would at least have expected a little more than usual. Why didn't they do the cool stormtrooper from Cloud City? Printed legs please: And giving us a black AT-ST driver instead of a Death Star trooper is also a bit cheap. No new molds and only a few minor print alterations - not good enough for a set worth 399USD. Yes we get a lot of minifigs, but really I don't need yet another C3PO, R2D2, Luke, Han, Chewie and so on. I am aware that they have to be there, but then at least give us little more. This set must be intentioned for AFOLs and it needs a little more to be "the best set ever!" KimT

Rumor has it that TLG is raising the prices on LEGO due to the massive drop the dollar has made in value. I am not sure if this raise will hurt the rest of the world, but it will surely bring US pricing closer to European pricing. This is a must have set and no I'll not even think about not buying other SW sets. Maybe I could sell my firstborn as suggested earlier KimT EDIT: Mmmmm 24 minifigs - yehaaa

LOL. You are aware that I live in Denmark and was fast asleep when You wrote that. I do need sleep once in a while KimT

This is probably one of the best sets of the Star Wars theme. Super combination of playability and design. All those sweet minifigs. This is definately a must have set. May the Force be with You. KimT
-
Thread has been pinned again. Good luck everybody. KimT

Star Wars is a great theme - if not the greatest theme. Indiana Jones is ok...but mostly for figs and parts. Town - meh! not my favourite thing, but loads of fine sets Agents...hmmm....I saw the sets recently and was very impressed with the cool amount of great parts. Just a shame that TLG refuses to use "real" weapons in a non-license theme. Those firehose guns just isn't the same as an uzi or tommygun. I hope you'll get to like it here. KimT

Welcome to Eurobricks. What are You into? Castle, Town, Indiana Jones or perhaps even Star Wars? KimT

Maybe adding a few of these might give it a little more textural feeling: Just an idea. KimT

Mkay I'd love to have your entries as part of the index. But for me to do that, I need You to start a topic on your entry. That would simplify the indexing and would also prevent the entry thread and this thread from being reduced to comment threads. So post away and I'll have You indexed in no time. May the Force be with You and good luck to all in the competition. KimT

Don't worry. I've got´em all now. So for now my money goes to the truly "collected" theme. KimT

And here's the Orcish Horde and Dwarf detachment. As You can see there's a lot of work to be done. I need more weapons and helmest for the orcs and my dwarven detachment is waaaay too small. The dwarves are only picture with the orcs because I don't have so many of them. I am fully aware that they're not allied. The pics: DWARVES: ORCS: "Yeah! Me took diz from a ded warf" Enjoy Now that I've shown You mine - show me Your armies of the new Castle theme KimT
