  1. Thanks and definately yes, or at least I hope that it is
  2. And the first review has landed on Eurobricks. Click the picture to check the review and comment on the set.
  3. After much waiting this set finally appeared in my toy store and I just had to get it and do a review. I for one have been anticipating the arrival of this new scaled set. I am not solely interested in the minifigs - they're nice, but not 'all' there is to a set. With this new scale I hope to see a lot of members and fans out there do MOC's of the entire Star Wars fleet I'd just love to see a midi-scale Home One or X-Wing. Set #: 7778 Set name: Midi-scale Millenium Falcon Theme: Star Wars Sub-theme: Original Trilogy / Midi-scale Price: Erhm... Parts: As price, will be updated - now I have to do this review The Box: Not much to say, it has the red design with 3 clones. It does have a few neat features. It shows the real size of the MF in a picture with a hand holding it. And it also has a fact picture where the classic UCS info is and also the real size of the craft, which is: 17 cm/6.7 in. wide, 23,5 cm/9.3 in. long and 8 cm/ 3.2 in. tall. Not much, but still a neat little thing, that I hope to see people scan and do UCS-signs from. There's 3 polybags, an instruction and the dreadiest sticker sheet in a loooong time. (I'll get back to that). Here's a few in-build pictures to enjoy: When the model is build it looks like this: I know it doesn't look like much, but consider that I have large hands So how was this for me? It was good. The design is neat, eventhough I think the MF has become a little too 'long' and I'd like to have it more round. The only annoying part was adding the stickers. Especially the cockpit drove me nuts and I had to redo the 'stickering' a few times and I am still not happy with it. If only they (TLG) had actually gone 'all the way' and printed all those 2x2 round tiles and the cone part for the cockpit I like the size of it and I'd definately buy any midi-scale set they chose to release It'll sit just perfect on the shelf in my living room. I view this model as a mini UCS, but I could easily see kids running around with this going at "light-speed'. Imagine the playvalue if TLG decides to give us/them a midi-scale AT-AT! Design: 9/10 Price: 5/10 (waaay to expensive compared to size and non-printed parts) Playability 8/10 ('swooooooooooooshing') Parts: 6/10 (nothing fancy or ultra good to have there) Overall grade: This is where it becomes difficult. Star Wars LEGO is always expensive compared to non-license sets and the parts (or lack of same) doesn't justify slamming this set to the ground. I think it's a great set which I've already decided to get another one of to keep MISB. So not taking the above ratings into mind, I rate this as 8/10. Finally here's a few pics of the finished model with some of it's new-found friends. Brickshelf Gallery (when public) You can find High Resolution Pictures (not resized) there as well.
  4. Noooooooooooooooooooooooo...not the "King Of Pop" Rest In Peace. [puts on Thriller]
  5. Bricklink.com has a nice catalogue feature that gives all the figs in each theme. We're making a Minifig Index here as well which can be found in the pinned Star Wars Forum Index Or you could check the first post in this topic which has a link to the upcoming Star Wars Dictionary, I believe a lot of the minifigs are also featured in that book. Welcome to Eurobricks.
  6.
  7. Nice work Antrozek.
  8. Agreed. Please keep this topic solely about the new sets and do not stray from the path. Art and stuff like that has it's own pinned topic now.
  9. From Formula1.com: Phew - close call Goodbye Max
  10. Great! You forgot that I am in that picture as well I just know how to duck.
  11. I second that. +1 from me too And Holodoc gets +1 as well.
  12. I think he means stores that sell LEGO at fair prices
  13. Topic has been merged with topic on Instructions, Scans and more.
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks. Good to have another Star Wars fan around.
  15. Welcome to Eurobricks Milan. Thanks for sharing your work in the Technic Forum.
  16. Welcome to Eurobricks.
  17. Whatever what? 7753 and 7754 have been spotted months ago. Also we've even got reviews of them here too, plus there's pics and info in the first post of this topic on them. Please do a minimum of research before posting - check the first post here and perhaps the Review Index as well.
  18. Drawings eh? I think they're better off in the Community section, since all they've got to do with LEGO is...well....erhm....
  19. Looks like it was a great event you guys had there. Loads of displays
  20. They do get fined for pulling stunts like that. I think I've read somewhere that it's around 10.000 USD.
  21. Good to see that you're back on topic here. I was just about to put the hammer down on the Nocturn discussion and then you fixed it yourselves. Since I've been lurking this place for the past weeks, I've taken a liking to the new tan Bionicle sets. (No idea about the names) The smaller one looks like a scorpion and I am getting one to MOD for my Castle army. Hopefully I'll do good and post it here for comments and ideas.
  22. That's mighty generous of you. I'll hang onto it and if you change your mind before the next contest - it'll be waiting for you.
  23. You're not and I appreciate your effort to support this. Sorry about the 7681 I must have been extremely sleepy or plain stupid. It's a CW set and has always been a CW set - my bad! Post any missing pics and I'll resize and add them to the index. Keep it up
  24. Svelte_Corps have choosen the EB Stormie which results in Jansued winning the CW Obi-Wan Keychain.
  25. Because I just have. 7681 wa originally not a CW set - to keep you satisfied, I've just added it The minifigs are indexed according to BL Because I hate Rex and in the beginning I only did 'front' and 'rear' - when I get around to doing more pics later on I'll make sure to add the 'no helmet' and 'side' pics for those who are missing. I've got Yoda and the droids. But you're more than welcome to do those pics and post them here.
