Perfect minifig scale conversion. Now take it apart, show us the parts used and a make a pictorial instruction so that we can all have this at home And since this is manga, wouldn't it be better to have it in Sci-Fi? I'll think about it and maybe I'll move it.

Really? Who's they? ??? What joke? Perhaps you should suggest that at FBTB rather than post a subtle flame here?
-
I know I can't but perhaps some of our members are going to attend this Con. This is the spot to discuss and plan meeting points.
-
Another stunning piece of work Lars I must say that I am envious of your skill at MOC'ing.
-
It wasn't a special edition. It was and still is a UCS set. There's no coherence in size when it comes to the UCS sets.
-
As soon as we have any rumors on the next season/wave of sets, I'll make a 2010 topic on them. Until then this one stays alive. Good enough?
-
From what I've heard this set will go 'live' in August. But it is certainly strange that CopMike has gotten his hands on one during BrickWorld. Which was good for us, since it gave us a review of it

That would be amazing - to have a mid-scale Death Star

The first post has been updated to look like this: (Note that the magnets are only there as Shop@home links in the bottom of the post.) 2009 Picture & Rumor Thread Remember to stay on topic. Comments on unfair pricing or regional price/availability rants doesn't belong here. Comments on availability and prices go elsewhere. Check the Star Wars Forum Index on where to ask/comment on availability and prices. Wishes for future sets and comments also don't belong here, but in the "Future Star Wars sets" topic. Note that most of this is based mainly on rumours and guessing. Sets that have been out for a while are removed from this list and the pictures can be found here or here No further pics will be added to the above galleries. Thanks for the resized pics CaptainRex110 - you can follow the link in my signature to the tutorials on how to resize and stuff like that. No sweat

I'll see what I can do

I've been asked to post a better picture of the inventory and I will. I just need to figure out how to do it while I am on vacation I like the thought of this new scale being the Architecture sets of Star Wars... it has a nice ring to it Now we've got UCS and Arcitechture...what else could we possibly want? (except the midi-scale AT-AT?) And this is the best I can do for now:

You wanted it, here it is! -
Looks like we're getting another fine set at the next San Diego Comic Con. Hopefully someone will get it and make a review for us. Now all we need are some resized pics. Otherwise I'll get them tomorrow when the folder is public and resize them.
-
That would certainly depend on wether or not you can remove the backrprint without damaging the chrome print. Let me know how it works out ...but it's certainly worth considering.
-
Some of the parts are printed. The exhaust 2x2 round tiles at the rear are all printed.

Imperial Governer is writing a letter to LEGO in CT!
KimT replied to Imperial Governer's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If TLG wants to continue the Pirate theme in 2010, then the sets have most surely already been designed or are being designed as I write this. Your letter should be to keep the theme running in general. 2010 is a little short-notice when it comes to designing, evaluating, redesigning and then producing sets. Plus I'm fairly sure that if you want to keep the theme running, then buy the sets. - That's what keeps themes running, not letters. Money is the issue. And if noone buys Pirates, then it's goodbye Pirates, even if you send them a zillion "pweease" letters -
I can, it's 349 DKr at retail price. Now that's not very usefull to anyone I'll find the GBP, USD and EUR price and add those instead.

The tan parts are used to ease the build. It's much easier to recognize where to put a brick when it's next to a tan brick instead of a gray one. It's just that simple. Plus it's always good to get more tan, especially those 1x4 and 1x6 bricks. And this is the back of the box: It has a picture of the MF plus an inventory:
