Showoff! Seriously though, you have a collection to be envious of(as I am sure many in this forum are). & the subsections are a nice touch. Also, I thought you said you didn't have a white Mandalorian? I clearly see one towards the bottom of the shelf. Anyway, thanks for giving me another member in this forum to be jealous of!

Thanks for the great review Inconspicuous! I actually like the speeder a lot as it is different than what is the usual Lego release. The minifigs are spectacular and are the highlight of this set. Plus, $50 is a much cheaper way to get a Cad Bane than the CTT which is at least twice as much. Thanks again and keep up the great reviews!

Thanks so much for the UCS Jedi Starfighter pic whung! I think it looks spectacular (if a tiny bit familiar - props to cavegod). You sir are the #1 spy, Bothan or otherwise! I must add that I am not overly impressed with the Cube Dudes or however u spell it. & has anyone noticed that TLC is using a lot of AFOL's or other Lego fans ideas for new summer releases?

This is a great little build KielDaMan! & I think the color scheme works really well for either cold weather or just for Rex (or the 501st even). Fifteen minute build turns into hours of swooshing fun!
-
Gotta say this is one of the better Slave 1's I have seen. You can see all the work you put in with the techniques used in the build (snot & rotating cockpit). I don't know if it has been asked yet or if it is a stupid question (especially it being UCS) but is this actual scale with the Boba minifig?
-
Great idea for a recon ship! I love the power functions & how the cockpit reaches the ground. Great work from a first time? AFOL MOC!
-
Wow cavegod thanks for the close ups! The set looks ginormous!!!
-
I really like this build. An original creation with nice features (I nespecially like the engine). The only thing I would say is that I think the color scheme should be similar to your other ship, the Arctana.

A wonderfully detailed review of the favorite set I never bought! It was my dark ages hence the lack of purchase but a regret none the less. I personally love the modular build and hope if Lego releases a new Cloud City that is built in a similar manner (with more rooms and detail of course). Thanks so much for giving me a chance to see the set up close!

Thanks for a great review on a most controversial set indeed! I have read a lot of opinions on this set and I guess I will give my 2 cents. I personally thing the set is ok and a decent if innacurate model. & I think the more minifigs in a set the better! Bespin Han Solo is a good addition even if he is an unecessary fig. P.S. if it hasn't been said a comparison shot next to the motorized ATT would be pretty cool please

Wow. I do not have words that can express who in awe I am of this. Small details and large, this is one helluva MOC. The different species (especially the Mon Calamari), the Wolfmen, the sheer size of the Vig(or Big!), the ingenious use of parts. You never cease to amaze. Keep bringing us these wonderful MOC's please!

So I have to say I am in complete agreement with every positive comment that has been made thus far. To add to the praise I feel you really captured an epic scene that is personally one of my all time favorites. This is one of those times I could put a on the page (oops I did!) oh well. Thanks for sharing your wonderful creations with all of us & I look forward to the updated version!

Another brilliant build Rook! The Snot techniquies, the inverted cockpit, & the playability features are awesome as usual. I am not aware of the contest but I would venture to guess that you are a frontrunner. You never cease to amaze me in your creativity sir and it is always a pleasure to see new works from you. You are the Master Yoda of the MOC, IMHO.

This sir is why I love this forum for Lego fans. What a well thought out, creative, and unique look at a MOC. I love the story and the play by play on each of Arkham's residents and the plot twist at the end had me wanting more!

Ok so I see my BL/E-Bay idea was pretty much shot down. I do agree that if you don't care so much about getting the exact same quality and you obviously don't want to buy the Tantive for the Leia fig that the magnet set is the way to go. I am just bothered by the sometimes overwhelmingly apparent difference in quality in the magnet sets. I do hear it has gotten better but like many others here I work hard for my $ and want quality fot it. End of rant. I think that you should do what is best for you and your wallet my friend

I actually really like the shape of this & the snot technique used to build it. I would like to see it minifig scale using the same idea with some weaponry attached. Like everyone else said this is some great table scrap!
-
This is a great representation of the shuttle! I would even go as far as to say that it is more of what people were looking for when the UCS shuttle came out. I love the cockpit (even if it was borrowed) and the interior is nice as well! Great job Renegade Clone!
-
Wow man another brilliant Moc! I love the building and the bley and sand green together. & I agree with Brickfoot in that you should put all of your Theed Moc's together. It would make for an incredible display somewhere. I would pay some $ to walk though all of that awesomeness!
-
I personally like the speeder set and will be making a purchase. I mean it is a different set than what we usually get from Lego as far as Star Wars goes. Besides, it is a cheaper alternative to get Commandos and Cad Bane as opposed to the Venator and Turbo Tank.
-
If you are going to buy the magnet set just for the Leia minifig I would suggest Bricklink or E-bay as an alternative to the magnet set. As the others stated the magnet sets are of a different and inferior plastic to the set minifigs. You might be able to get Leia for a reasonable price and a better quality.

You might want to check under the Special Interest section of this forum. There is a brick flick/comic area that I bet if you put this message in that you might get the help you need. Not for sure but I would check it out.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
Smack replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I hope that I am not bringing up an older subject but I noticed that my "Forestman" minifig was made of the inferior plastic that I thought was being/been remedied. His hands are a faded yellow and the legs and torso are of a noticeably different kind of plastic. This is rather upsetting considering they are now sold out. It might has already been discussed but has anyone noticed similar problems? -
I have been following the thread since the contest started and have seen some good to great MOC's, but this is one of if not the best one I have ever seen!!! Absolutely the most brilliant, creative and well thought out of any entry so far. You sir put your heart, soul, and love for all things Star Wars in this fantastic creation. I bow humbly and thank you for sharing your MOC with all of us and sincerely hope you get a bag with a white Boba Fett with an EB stormtrooper in the mail. Truly inspiring!

The Shuttle is absolutely brilliant. It is right up there with the UCS Falcon as far as accuracy of the ship IMO. Not sure if I will be geting this set as I have other immidiate priorities come August here in the U.S. (Slave 1 is 1st) but it is nice to see Lego pulling out all the stops on models. I can't wait to see if there is another large UCSish set coming later in the year as others have spoken of.

I am interested to know where the pic for this MOC came from. Was it in a movie or game that I missed? The MOC itself is very cool; I was wondering how you built the nose of the ship if I may ask. You always seem to come up with creative, original creations that keep me looking for more. Thanks again for keeping things fresh and interesting.
