  1. Maybe. That was one thing I was thinking of, but what hair would suit Mr. Wickham?
  2. Maybe. Is this the type of coat you're talking about? I'll see what I can do, but it doesn't look too accurate. The straight across seam on coats didn't come about 'till 1810, and by that time wigs and knee-breeches had gone out of fashion (not sure about that het, either. Early top hats exsisted, but they didn't look like that.)
  3. Update! Click the link to go to the thread. A Taster: New early Regency coats, and recolors, too!
  4. Update! New designs from Early Regency tailcoats. Now, the early regency had a different kind of tailcoat, which had a verys shallow cut-away and essentially looked like and upside-down 'U' shape when the coat was buttoned. Here they are: My favorite of the recolors I did of the first one: And a recolor of the first design: Thanks all!
  5. Thank you. Of course you can use it and recolor it, but please give credit where credit is due.
  6. I know you stole that from One Piece. I'd have to say either classical or steampunk, but that's because I've allways been a softie for steampunk. Ironic, though, as steam engines really were the downfall of pirates.
  7. Hey all! In a long absence, I've been cooking up some new decals. They may not be specifically pirate, but they're English Regency/ French Empire clothing. The Regency lasted from 1810 to 1820, but the styles it comprises lasted from the 1790's to 1830. The style fo the time was similar enough to the previous Georgian/Rococo period that Pirate builders like yourselves could use them for Gentry or the like. Now, the reason it's been posted he is for 2 reasons: 1) That the thread will get more traffic 2) An Admin/Mod could change the title of the Victorian clothing thread to: Title: Norrington's Fine Minifig Clothiers Description: Est. 2007 Here's the link: Norrington's Fine Minifig Clothiers *cough, cough admins* A taster:
  8. They look good, but Ki-Adi-Mundi looks pretty ridiculous with that excessive amount of neck fat.
  9. Allright. Here's the first inb my Regency Line of decals. These are just templates at the moment, but recolors we be released soon. Alternate jacket designs will also be released, but each will have the lapel alternates like this design. I liked this one as it was the firts time I think I got the cravat (necktie) right. A very helpful source: Jessamyns' Regency Costume Companion Inspiration: Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy in A&E's Pride and Prejudice (1995) The Basic template: Lapel style A: Lapel style B: Lapel style C: Lapel style E: Brickshelf Gallery Thanks!
  10. HA! I saw this on Flickr, and I have to say this one is really ingenious! The Alphorn is a good design, as well! Let's yodel! "High on a hill was a lonely goatherd, yodel-odel-odel-oda-le-he-ho..."
  11. Meanyhead. Interesting anti-climax of an end. At least the town could have burned down or something.
  12. Ah well, this is highly irregular. Can you vote of the game host? Ah well. Vote: Tiny Pius
  13. Horaay! Another witch has been sent to the devil! I am not sure what to think now, so we need to debate this an come to a rational, sensible decision.
  14. Very nice! I am a fan of Antebellum houses, and you don't see many around here. There are interesting and unique techniques (skeleton arms for banisters, tiles & round tiles for the cornice, etc.) I think the windows, could be improved (trans bricks rather than plates, panes, etc.) and there could be more of a portico. Something like this: The Disneyland Haunted Mansion facade Papermodel of the same Here's a link to a 3D model of the DL HM: Ray Kiem's Haunted Dimensions I jumped on myself for immediatly thinking of Dl, but the facade is a good example of this style of architecture, although it is based on a Baltimore mansion, rather than Southern. The Shipley-Lydecker House, Baltimore, MD
  15. What's the point of killing you? We don't know if he's innocent. But there's the perfect thing to your plot. You are willing to be executed if he's innocent, but as there is no way for us to prove his innocence, so you immediatly proclaim him guilty. If you and the rest didn't trust the verdict of the only investigator, why should your verdict. If anything, you're much lesstrustworthy. Of course he ran to Salem, did you not read the account of the Witch Trials there? He went to find the heretics there. He allways proclaimed someone else a witch. That's his job. Have you not heard of the trials in the town of Moonlight? A woman named Florence nvestegated citizens, and each time produced a correct verdict which helped bring many wrong doers to justice. But he isn't a Dutch banker. Why would he go to Dutch New Yorke? That makes little sense.
  16. Ok, there is no evidence for Fernando being a witch. So, I am a witch for defending someone who has no coclusive evidence agaisnt him. So, you're going to kill loyalists? Methinks, M'lady, that you are being far too reckless in your judgments. What evidence? Me saying that there is no proof fro the Inquisitor's guilt and that there is no sense in proclaiming him guilty and executing people at random. Provide me some (conclusive) evidence and a (real) statement from TinyPius stating that he was, infact, a witch.
  17. Yes, I've experienced this too. When I search EB on google, if I type it in all the way "www.eurobricks.com" it refuses to let me on the site, unless I got to EB through my favorites> As well, it can become very laggy (not mu ISP because all my other windows are going as fast as usually.
  18. Huh. I just double posted (sorry) and it seems to have combined with my post directly before it. Is that ok? Does it count as an edit?
  19. What, bt saying that we have no proof he was a witch and thusly I say he is innocent 'till proven guilty. But no, I do not see how I am a witch. Pray tell. I have proof that the inquisitor was innocent! TinyPius wispered into my ear, as we veiwed the new portraits, that Fernando may have took up residence in the town of Salem. Now, I do not know how much you have been keeping up with current events, but the witch problem is not unique to our town. In evidence, I provide this document following the case: A Full Documentation of the Salem Witch Trials Perhaps the Inquisitor has become a minister there and is still carrying out his mission against witches and heresies, hmm?
  20. Now people are witches for wearing hats in church? Yes, it is proper to remove them as a sign of respect, but that is no means a heresy. Perhaps the Inquisitor was respectfull enough not to remove his hat, for he probably had some unholy hat-hair. Joan, please list the reasons why I am a heretic, because I'd be intrested in knowing myself. I have no qaurrel with you, yet you single me out. Why? And cohesive evidence, not a dictionary definition.
  21. Yes I supported him, but where did it say he was a heretic? Any man with a proper mind would run when faced with an armed mob. Didn't TinyPius say he might have went to the New Worlde and become a ministre to some church there? Why wouldn't a heretic just run of to Englande and join the Hellfire Club or something?
  22. What the hell? It looked like I was running around in circles for most of the comics, then I dissapeared. What's going on? Great comic, by the way. I wouldn't call 10 pictures image heavy, though.
  23. Why is Sly carmming a fish up Scruffy's butt? Great MOC. How do the fish stay on the waterfall?
  24. Oh, well... 43 1/2 then? As to how I know, I beleive the wrong decision was made because I beleive the inquisitor was innocent. Ah well.
  25. Is it a crime for an old peasant a purchase some nails to repair my simple furniture? Inquisitor, I am sorry that the people have made the wrong desicion. May God bless you.
