  1. Thanks you guys! It's great to be back. I love the new *twisted* smiley. No SW themed smilies yet? *devil* :D ;)
  2. Are you talking about Vaders self pending promotion as first in command of the Tie Army or the promotion as an admin? ;) ;) :P
  3. Hahaha, yeah, I have been feeling a little "Blue" lately. ;)

    Missing!!!

Sorry Apo, I still have your box sitting here ready to go. :)

    Missing!!!

WOW! You guys are awesome! :') It is good to be back! Thanks Vader for putting up the missing poster. I hope you kept the Tie army going while I was away. ;)
  6. HAHAHA I am in one of the photos I didn't know it. We should have a "Who is Orlego" contest to see if you can guess what I look like. ;)
  7. It is the return of the mighty Orlego..... ok, maybe not mighty, but I am here! :-D I'm sorry to keep everyone up in the air the past few months. I first want to thank Jon for keeping up with me and everyone else for your support in me returning to the boards. So what happened???....... I am an employee of Lego for all of you that did not know. I have been under investigation by the company because of my stupid tagline that stated "The original Mr. X". I just want to tell everyone loud and clear that I AM NOT MR. megablocking X!!! :| I hope Lego can hear me! My tagline was a joke but apparently Lego thought that I was Mr. X and leaked the info about various sets, esp. the new Death Star & Sandcrawler. The truth is that I know only what you know on most issues. I do find out some info a few days before it is posted here but I keep it to myself because I know someone will post it at some point. The bad news is I have a new position at my job that will prohibit me from posting here as often as before. The good news is I am here to stay. I also wanted to tell everyone that at no time did Lego prevent me from posting here. I stopped posting because I felt that it was the best thing to do at the time. On top of everything else I have had three deaths in my family as well as other personal issues. (Sorry to bring down the board. Moving on...) I have stayed active in Lego and have bought about $1,500 worth since my last post. I love this hobby and this website. Thanks again for everyone
  8. I think the Death Star could have been more rounded and more detailed but overall this is not a bad set. The worse thing about is finding somewhere in my apartment to display it.
  9. I would like to see Lego do more rolling stock sets. We have the new BNSF but we never had new rolling stock. I don't understand it but Lego did the same thing with the Super Chief. The Loco was out for a while before Lego released the passenger cars. Hopefully we will see new rolling stock before the end of the year.
  10. Man, I really have to say these sets look like dog shit. I never really liked the Adventures line but next to this new theme the Adventures are the best Lego theme ever. What is up with the horrible one piece dinos? Why is the helicopter and hummer so large? The vehicles, except for the ATV, are the size of the new mine truck. Why make sets that can't be used with other themes such as city. Everyone talks about kids playability but these sets playability are decreased because they are way too large to use with other themes. What happened to Lego caring about the minifig scale?
  11. It will be a Shop @ Home only set, look at the number. It might also be at certain Toys aRen't Us, but I wouldn't hold my breathe. Shop at home and Lego Retail stores
  12. Happy Birthday Ras *satis*
  13. The only problem is Lego would fall under the nostalgia category for me.
  14. The plate approach gets the job done but it makes the model very fragile. I rather see the brick design, especially when paying $150.
  15. Pardon the pun but it looks like I have created a monster. ;)
  16. Believe it or not but my Packard Hell was a 486 33sx. If I had waited a month I could have got the 66dx for the same price. I felt lost for years without a math co-processor. :P ;)
  17. Hehehe, you are correct Jipay! :P ;)
  18. Very nice MOC Apo!! :oD

    Lego secte ?

  20. I really wish I were kidding but it is very true. Thank You!! I agree. I also think kids should have to work for their first vehicle Hahaha! I think we had the same computer. The first computer I bought (my third machine, when VGA color monitors were first breaking into the market) with my own money and not just another old business machine from my grandfather

    Lego secte ?

Hahaha, I love the rules... But once again I can't join this group because of this rule... ;)
  22. You can thank MP3 players, computers, the Internet and video games for that. I have a 20GB iPod with portable speakers, a homemade rig with top specs, broadband internet, and I'm friends with the developers/publishers of several top-of-the-notch games. I still have over 300 LEGO sets, growing fast. Don't blame technology. ;) How old are you Jay? I also have everything you do and like Jipay I am a computer programmer. But I'm also 27 years old. I have always had computers in my life but during my childhood the best game I had to play was Oregon Trail (loaded from a floppy of coarse ;) ) using my hella sweet monochrome monitor. Universities and the government were still developing the Internet and my first computer had a 512mb hard drive. The point is, even if you are 16 years old now, you are pretty much out of your childhood days. The problem is not with yours or my generation, it is with the current generation of kids that are growing up with some really cool technology and parents that just want kids but don't know how (or want to know how) to be parents. Parents today give kids all the items that I only received when I got into my late teens because it is real easy for them to let technology raise their kids. My cousin is one of these parents. Her child is only 6 but had 0 interest in toys because he has everything that I have now as an adult. By his 6th birthday (in December) the kid had cable TV, a laptop with broadband Internet, DVD player and an Ipod. He also has an active cell phone. I love Lego and Technology but when technology mixes with bad parenting Lego (and the entire toy industry) losses. Parents no longer teach kids to be creative and use their imagination. What is really sad, and I have said this here before, but do you know how many parents honestly ask me what do I mean by "kids can use creativity and imagination to create anything they want to with Lego"? Parents do not know the definition of creativity and imagination! I wish I were joking or making this up but this really happens on a daily bases. It is true that Lego has not had many great basic sets over the past few years but Lego is not the only company to suffer lost sales. The entire toy industry has lost huge amounts of money because kids are losing interest in toys at a much younger age.
  23. Very well said Brickster. I agree 100% :-D
  24. Like this???...
  25. Exactly :-D ;)
