Yeah, I went to the Wal-Mart near my office and the Spiderman's Train Rescue set was $15. The X-wing was also $25.00. These are great deals at 50% off, but still not as good as the sets I found at the 2 Wal-Marts by my house. I would have bought more but they were all sold out. Has anyone checked out Target? I have not had a chance to see if they have any good deals.

Very, very true. Being a working adult sucks major Megablock. Enjoy your childhood and the many presents you still get for Christmas and your birthday. In the future you will get half the gifts (if you are lucky) and most of your money will go the rent and other bills and your time will be spent working two jobs because you don't have enough money to pay the bills and still have a hobby. ;)

I'm ready to go! I will be sitting on the pier waiting for the Lego ship to arrive. I can even plan land excursions to find the best deals in the US. ;) ;)

It is really funny because you are 100% correct. Most of my co-workers are totally clueless about new sets. They don't even read the employee Lego Life magazines we get that talk about company issues such as the color changes. When I tell them about new sets they say that I'm crazy and think they are the authority of everything Lego. They can't believe it when I print the pics and bring them into work. They all want to know how I found the pics/info and are totally amazed that I had this information. For weeks I get "how do you know this?" and "where did you get that information". When I tell them to just search the Internet they say the photos and set info are fake because I found it on the Internet. They all shut up when the sets come in but I never get an apology. The best thing is they only listen to what Corp. has to say half the time. Most of the employees are very knowledgeable about sets they are selling but have no clue about new sets. I have to admit that I know very little about the Bionicle line but I'm getting better. I know more about Duplo, Quattro and Bellville than I do Bionicle. There are too many weird names that sound the same and most of the sets look the alike. Plus I personally don't like the sets. :-D ;) Orlego

Hehehe. It may sound cold but WHEN you become an adult you will see that Jipay is correct. :P ;)

It is not that the monorail sets would not sell well or that trains or more popular. The monorail sets sold extremely well for Lego. I just think Lego did not make much of a profit from them. The monorail sets used much more plastic than the largest train sets because they came with a ton of track and minifigs. Lego says they accidentally destroyed the molds but we all know this is a bunch of Megablock.

This is being worked on but everyone must also realize that we were all newbies at one point in time. This is not an issue about being soft on new people. Every forum as problems like this and we just need to deal with them as they come. Posting words of hate and anger are just as bad.
