Bob De Quatre Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Today I've heard on the radio that the Hermione replica will sail for the first time on September 7th. Lafayette used the Hermione in 1780 to join the american insurgent in the Independance war. Website of the project Quote

Bob De Quatre Posted April 18, 2015 Author Posted April 18, 2015 L'Hermione is setting sails today for a 4 month travel to America, following its ancestor back in 1780 Quote
Captain Dee Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 She may be a replica but it's always nice to see one of those beauties set sail. She has really nice lines and that colorscheme is lovely. Make a nice model, huh? Quote

Bob De Quatre Posted April 28, 2015 Author Posted April 28, 2015 The Latouche Tréville frigate meets the Hermione. Latouche Tréville was the name of the first captain of the Hermione back in 1779. Quote

2maxwell Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 I got to see her in Baltimore! I didnt get a ton of pictures, but I can share a few if people are interested. Quote
ShrikeArghast Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 (edited) Frigates :/. Somebody needs to rebuild a 74. ESPECIALLY in lieu of this tragedy: (Don't watch the video without first steeling yourself against imminent emotional scarring. The British may have been great about a lot of things, but their preservation track record in the 1940s and 50s is an international disgrace). Edited July 4, 2015 by ShrikeArghast Quote
