  1. How many models and cousin models are we able to make we from 1 box train 10183 if we baye some pieces ?

know that there 30 officiele models can be made form 1 box.

other models for the train 10183

when you have made the crocodille, we have many pieces left in the box.

how much other models can we make with the rest of the bricks?

and how many other bricks must we buy to have a little as possible in the box?

well , I have started, the first model the crocodille and all the pieces sitting in the box, logically.

many pieces are sitting now in the model but many pieces rests still in the box.

Now I make the loco 05 with the rest of the bricks and i must take 167 new bricks.

jo find it on this link :

how many bricks must buy we afther we have built the corocodille and we build the loco 05 from the same box

continued soon with 10_car from te same box. :cry_happy::thumbup::wink:

  2. I also find it a good idea to create high voltage lines with all those cables. That's how you get them out of the way and the whole layout looks nicer without them lying around.

I have here on my layout a Belgian model stand

where electricity can go by the cables

  3. Well I had a proper look at your site, and I really recommend the videos to everyone. Especiallythe one with the bride. That is great! I don't know about the forum though. But let me know when you add more videos of that fantastic layout.

    Two thumbs up. :thumbup::thumbup:

perhaps a good idea of communicating the update here also on this topic

  4. I really like this site, but I think a forum is a little pointless. Especially seeing as how you are advertising it on another train forum. I do however really like the site as just a website. I think you should scrap the forum.

I'm just try it … perhaps it does not succeed perhaps…

    how more knowing how more….

    greets patrick... :devil::oh3::wink:

  8. Very nice layout; perhaps we'll see the birth of a town with this!

    Nice!

normally it is the intention that I try to imitate the history

    of the station .

on photograph area, and building himself (station)

you see the building of the station, glory of the station in better times,

    and decline by the years.

    with pictures correctly the same

old brown foto' s, afterwards black, and colour.

we have a very beautiful site in Belgium with old foto' s of stations

Visit website with old pictures of stations from belgium

I take my inspiration of several old foto' s.

but especially of the 2 links below

the station is of wetteren a small villages in Belgium

    wetteren1

    wetteren2

and the station looks enormously much on the set 7997

the last new station of lego

  12. Snow has been made with tiles 2x2

for the groves tiles 1x4 and 1x2 have been used on first low.

For snow plates have been used firstly, and then the tiles

    are placed on the plates.

this way get you the impact of the groves .

    Patrick.

  14. Hello everybody. For my christmas I took some time to rebuild a layout with my oooold 7740 Electric inter city train

I'm quite happy since it still works like a charm.. or nearly... The motor and tracks are ok but the rubber bands that assure frictions with the tracks are quite dry and break as soon as you touch them. So my train can't barely move with 1 or 2 wagons.

So my question is quite simple : is there and alternative to such rubber bands like ultra common rubber bands or a trick to make it work like the old days ?

Thanks in advance for your advices.

    Look on Patricks legotreinen site

    Yes there are alternatives

look on the link: train rimbs

    it is a good alternative.

    greats Pat.

    Ik verkoop zo'n bandjes

de mensen die besteld hebben zijn

    zeer tevreden.

    groetjes Pat.
