    Mining a Subterranean Causeway

Let me start by saying this is not a Power Miners MOC. I just has a lot of lime hanging around, is all! It started with the birch tree.... not sure how it morphed, but things happen. This is an entry for MECHA Hub's Civilian Mecha contest over at their group on flickr. "The Geo-Bot 8.9 mines in an underground cavern, which resembles Giant's Causeway. Equipped with heavy armor and drill feet, the Geo-Bot 8.9 can grind up an obtrustive rock formation in its path. Also, it finds companionship in a canary - the mecha's programmers are unsure of the cause of its affection for the avian creature, as robots do not feel. Leading researchers call this phenomenon "heartbyte". Apparently the glitch bites the "heart" - that is, the central memory chip of the metal man. However, the glitch does not affect the mecha's occupation - mining - so he has yet to be thrown into the trash compactor." http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x222/sirnadroj/1-152.jpg http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x222/sirnadroj/2-136.jpg http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x222/sirnadroj/3-129.jpg http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x222/sirnadroj/7-47.jpg Thanks.

    Cogs of the Gods?

(I assume this fits in this category; the focus is the robot. ) A "Chariots of the Gods" type MOC, featuring a godesque robot forming Eve for Adam in the Garden Of Eden. All pics here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirnadroj/ Thanks!

In the same vein as the Zot-Class Starship: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirnadroj/3122509859/ Thanks.

    Wampa hungry...

He loves him some Taun Taun. Thank you.
  6. A two-for-one! A hard hat diver encounters a bioluminescent beast six thousand feet under the sea. Second - meet Burpy! (The name is a parody on Burpee Seed Co.) Thanks!

    Fragility Of Life

Another surrealist creation illustrating, simply put, life's fragility. Here are links, as I do not believe the pics are the correct size. Thank you!

The Brick Testament - When God Attacks

Truly top-notch work, as always. It's funny; I was reading Joel today, and contemplated building the apocalypse from this "historical" standpoint (if my choice of words makes sense.) Enough with the zombies and lone hero, already! Again, fantastic interpretation.

    Some very bad juju...

Here's something I built for Big Toy Hut's Zombie Contest on flickr: http://www.flickr.com/groups/1007944@N25/ Now, I've never been a zombie fan, but I have been a fan of the voodoo/bayou theme. So I combined the two in a classic match-up. A bokor summons three dead corpses back to this world through the use of voodoo dolls. All pics here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirnadroj/set...57616974290961/ And here are some random, but deep MOCs for you to ponder: Death In Life In Death http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x222/si...lifeindeath.jpg The Heart Is Only An Organ http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x222/si...ly-an-organ.jpg Thanks!

    Some very bad juju...

Thanks for the feedback guys! I can't post all of the techniques because that would take a very long time, but I'm always happy to answer any questions.

    Boot Hill

A quick attempt at a spindly tree. (And the pics are within 800 x 600. ) Thanks.

    Boot Hill

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the green heads are cacti. The tree is based on the one seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/maggotpie/288233901/ from Frontierland's shooting gallery. It's very fat and knotted, but gets "spindly" towards the top and ends of the limbs. Oh, and that's a tombstone.

    Stagecoach

Thanks for the feedback guys. Yeah, probably most of mine are large. I used to keep them to around 800 x 600, but as of late, I'ver stuck with 900 x Y. I'll remember next time I'm photoshopping my pics. Thanks for pointing it out. I've changed the pics to links in this case.

    Stagecoach

Thanks very much for the feedback, everyone. Really? My original one is, by all means, a piece of garbage. This is one of my most, if not my most historically accurate MOC in a long time. Here's my reference. The back is used as storage for luggage. I really don't pick the colors or size, that's what it looked like.

    Deadwood Brothel

This is supposed to be an 18+ forum, right? All of the pictures here once moderated: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=377956 Thanks!

    Teleportation Demonstration

Finally finished my teleportation chamber, heavily, heavily based on Disney's late "Alien Encounter" attraction. To see the whole set of pictures, with a brief story to go with it, go here: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/110017 I used a fog machine and lifelites from www.lifelites.com to get the visual effects just right. Here are some pictures: Setup: Many thanks guys!

    A Night On Byte Mountain

Fooled by The Brothers Brick? I was an anonymous "Donut" builder! This is a kind of parody on Fantasia's rendition of "A Night On Bald Mountain", composed by Modest Mussorgsky. Thanks.

    Mystic Of Death

Thought I may as well share this here also. Inspired by this ( ) and others like it, I tried and took a stab at something similar in the brick. The scene is of a fortune teller predicting death for the poor minifigure on our left. The illusion is on the abstract side, but there's only so much that can be done. Here's some help if you can't see it: http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x222/sirnadroj/2-2-2.jpg The lights are by www.lifelites.com (I reccomend em'!) and they were so fun to play around with. You can see more pics in the brickshelf gallery with some different lighting: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=375323 (when moderated) As always, thanks!

    Wooly Mammoth

    Enough said. Many thanks.

    Ticha

Like I said on flickr; he kind of resembles Hobbes, which was not intended. Ah well. He does, however, have 26 points of articulation. I rarely build mechas, so this mixed things up for me. Many thanks.

    Plastic Anatomy

    Self-explanatory. Thanks guys.

    Spiderman 3 MOC's!

Hey there! I was so dissappointed when Lego did not the the Spiderman 3 license that I wanted to build my own MOC's. Most of these are vignettes. I dipicted the characters good, I think, although they can't be 100% accurate. Okay, so here is the link to the brickshelf gallery with all the pictures. There are 38 pictures all in all, but I am only going to post a few here, so check out the brickshelf gallery. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=253127 Big Sandman Attack! This is the scene were sandman goes on a rampage on a street in NYC. You can see here that he got so big from all the sand from the truck. He is almost invulnerable considering he is literally made of sand. Who will stop him!? Sandman's Demise Uh Oh! Flint Marko is in trouble now that the Black-suited Spiderman found his weakness. There is no escaping your inevidable doom, Sandman! Sandman Returns Spiderman had thought that he had killed that pesky sandman, but he was dead wrong. Now Sandman is angrier than ever, and he will stop at nothing to cure his sick daughter: even if that means killing Spiderman! J. John Jameson buys a camera A rather humerous scene when Jameson buys a camera from a little girl, who makes a considerable profit. New Goblin chases Peter Parker The New Goblin is out to avenge his father's death by killing Pete! Armed with pumpkin bombs and a new glider, he will be hard to stop. Run Peter, Run!!! Miniland Scale Sandman A miniland scale Flint Marko with a huge hand! Mary Jane in the taxi over New York Part of the final battle when Mary Jane is hovering over NY in a taxi, held up by Venom's web! Who will save her?!! Venom's Begining This figure is Eddie Brock when he first gets the symbiotic black meteorite stuff on him! Watch out Spidey, you may have met your match! So thanks for checking these out and I have more pictures of Spiderman 3 MOCS as well as other mocs from the previous 2 flicks!
