I can't help but wonder how they'll manage to make a Dungeon full of weapons and treasures with just 80 pieces... But I like the sound of that bladed whip hassassin... I wonder what he might look like... Are there already pics of him that I might have missed (I know we've seen a few of them but I can't quite put that name on any of those I remember...)

From the description on Amazon, it seems to me it's gonna be the one with the giant shark... the one with the big mole is 8079 (Though I think it's supposed to be a turtle, unless you're talking about some other set I'm not aware of) while Guardian of the Deep is 8058...

Funny how many people think that Antlantis is part of Greek Mythology... It's actually just an invention created by Plato who just wanted to illustrate a point to the state of the society of his time. It doesn't even take root in any Greek lore or tradition and he certainly never intended for it to be such a big deal and story and legend and whatnot. So basically, you can do pretty much whatever you want with it, Greek Mythology can still sleep soundly And I for one, am pretty excited by what TLG pulled of. I don't care that much about the vehicles but I like the underlying idea behind the ruins and the minifigs. I just hope they'll go way farther in that direction for the next wave... and if we get rid of the divers, we can even mix it with the Pirate theme for a touch of PotC like fantasy

Has anyone else noticed the "LEGO Adventures the first LEGO DVD Movie" ad on the side of the box of THAT set? Sounds interesting... A possible return of the Adventure Line? Pretty neat Idea. In a way, the inclusion of the midi X-Wing reminds me of the Death Star with its midi-TIE Advance. I love that midi X-Wing. it would look great next to the midi MF. That makes me really hope they'll start a new midi line...

From what I can see, Lucasfilm doesn't know how to make a good timeline since RotS, really... I mean if I project your argument about production times of the CTT onto the very Death Star, look at what we have : The first one took twenty years to build and then hop, the second one took barely five years to get to a state of almost finished but definitely fully armed and operational ... AND for one that is far bigger than the first... But still... Since when are we looking at Star Wars for realism anyway But if I remember right, we saw a CW CTT on one of the pics from season two and it looked like an earlier version than the RotS one, like a prototype or something (unless they wanted to simplify the model to give it a CW style but I doubt it) so it might be that the new LEGO CTT will match that one if it is indeed CW.

I finally got the Midi scale Millenium Falcon. And my Bricklink order arrived so I can build the new AT ST (I can't afford the whole Endor Set if I'm to save for the Tantive IV but I had to have that new AT ST. That thing is a beauty )

Well, if the set is CW, they might change the torso design to give it a more cartoony look, as they have with every other figs in that line... but from the pic, the head is definitely the same

It seems like as someone feared (can't remember who...) the visor will actually be printed on the face... and they'll probably be back printed as well, seeing as one has the visor on and the other doesn't... It's funny that they put Kit fisto in the most useless of the three seats of the fighter, though. he's neither piloting the craft nor shooting things behind them But I don't think I'll be getting it. I'll just get my hands on the instructions and modify my old one accordingly. There isn't enough change to justify my buying it. (And I already have a Kit Fisto). The nose looks like it's using the same technique as the one from the X-Wing, now. But except that it's a little curvier, I can't quite decide which one looks better... Wait and see, I guess

Guess I'll go with the majority here and say 4483 AT AT. Nothing can top the sheer awsomeness of that set. Well, yes, there also is that UCS ISD but somehow I don't feel like they're in the same category. One is hugely impressive showcase model and the other one looks incredible and has fantastic playability... So I'd say they're on par... But the designers at TLC are really starting to get out of hand, lately. They're really making incredible work. So later sets are looking better and better... So maybe someday they'll manage to out top that AT AT...

Man, I'd love to see a midi scale ATAT... Especially considering the great work they did on the Millenium Falcon. And then, that would also mean they'd start some kind of Midi-Scale line and we might see that Malevolence model we saw in the "Search for R2 D2" animation... **wishful thinking : ON**

Actually, she's a Togruta, not a Twi'lek. So I'd say no, she doesn't count. But it would be nice if TLG made a twi'lek headpiece a bit sexier taht the bulged one from Bib Fortuna

Looks like a sticker to me... Or hopefully a printed slope. But they did manage to include a flickfire missile and rather badly so, I might add... Still the general feel of those two giant fig remains fantastic. as for the rest, they really look good. But I'm still not sure whether my budget will allow me to get them... or my shel sapce, for that matter...

if it's about the minifig, then mine would be Darth Maul. But if it's about the character, then... Well, it'd still be Darth Maul @big cam: I love that picture of the emperor. Did you make it yourself? The lighting is great.

From what I can make out of the picture, I don't quite see how it's a major improvement : it looks exactly the same as the previous one except for the greenish cockpit... Oh, and the added flick-fire missiles:hmpf_bad:... But I do like the old one, so I don't think this one is bad... I just won't get it, since I have the previous one. But I will definitely get that TIE Defender. Man, that thing is a real beauty!

I don't think it's that risky, you know... You just have to wait a little longer before reselling them and then the price would be even higher... Especially SW. Anything with that stamp is like wine. It only gets more expensive with time... Even those ugly stickers you got with a pack of Kellogg's... just one look on Bricklink proves my point...

the four first season were really noce, but man, that fifth Season went all over the place in such a fantastic way that it had me hooked from start to finished. And I have to say that I'm pretty excited by the fact that next season will see it end. It would really have been a shame if it went on and on and on and on and lost all its interst in the process to then get cancelled and not having it end properly. I'd rather have it finish with a bang when it's at its strongest. But we don't really know if it worked since we didn't see the bomb go off... and then there's that warning from Jacob that should bring another plotline as well... So I don't think it would be that easy...

Nice review. I'm indeed really glad I got it when it came out, considering the price it can fetch by now. That's my all time favourite set. No other has ever been close to challenge its place... (OK, the UCS ISD did, but they're not quite playing in the same category, so...) Also, it still looks way better than the new motorised one, with its legs being under the main body, and not on the outsie, making it look clumsy like the new one...
